- In this weeks video, AS PROMISED, we fix the MEGANE RS exhaust (THAT I RUINED) and make it sound sick again...
A simple fix making the big difference, so come with me and i'll show you what we did to fix the AWFUL tone from it being straight piped.

This is why i don't do mods 😅 because id be worried making it worse like in your previous video and wasting money trying to rectify it. Im more than happy with the stock sound on my 300. 😊
I've modified cars since before i could drive mate... its all a learning process and if you want your car standard then thats absolutely your call. Making the car your own is part of the enjoyment for me personally, and its all content at the end of the day! It was an easy cheap fix too 😂

Hi pal, just a quick question regarding your changes on the exhaust. You originally had the supersport system fitted but now had a central silencer fitted, so is it now the same as the sports system?
Pretty much mate yeah... just didn't count for how loud it was going to be with the downpipe, so the resonator was 100% needed
Hi just a quick question. If I'm correct, you now have a backbox, a centrebox and your GPF is removed?
Correct! But the valve is still there, so in sport and race it bypasses the backbox
hello Hash, to remove the frame you painted black you have to remove the bumper?
No mate, just the diffuser. 4 bolts and 2 small ones and some force will get the diffuser off

My meg is similar with the pop and bangs. Sometimes is stupidly loud and other times not so much
I think its partially to do with the map not being tweaked... Its alot louder in first drive clips and its like the cars learnt not to do it
Can't wait to hear it once its mapped. I've been considering getting an exhaust but not to sure which brand to go with. 1 question does the standard exhaust on the trophys come with a resonator. Had min in the garage few months ago for the alignment and noticed it had no resonator
@@Will-bx8is basically, the rule is, if you have no resonator, you have a GPF. If you have a resonator, yours is pre GPF. There aren't many exhausts out there for these, has alot more body and tone in person, sounds much nicer than OEM
@@VersionOneUK when it was up on the ramp from the cat to the back box was just a straight pipe. Which I'm assuming ain't standard 🤔
@@Will-bx8is it is standard if yours isn't the GPF model... Mine didn't have a res from factory

Sounds like it did when it left the factory now, Ton of money spent to sound like standard to me mate 🤷♂️
Again, you have to take alot into consideration as far as camera audio goes. Its louder, cleaner, much more body but also the gain in performance is instantly noticeable, maybe not in numbers, but in the response. Pick up feels even better and boost feels rock solid, turbo lets off some great noises too 😂

@@rsgarage3529 volume wasn't my issue mate, it just didn't sound nice. If it sounded mega and was loud i would have kept it straight piped, but it sounded like some whack honda, and this Megane RS is way too classy to sound like a clapped out honda
