Original seats are equally good. Recaros are for those who will use it on track. Stock has heated seats and are really comfortable. It is a unnecessary cost if you are to use it as regular car on normal roads.
Personally i disagree... The recaros are still really comfy, granted the heating aspect is nice but the way the recaros look and feel are a no brainer especially when having a car like the trophy. P.S I don't disagree that the other seats are bad i just meant thr recaros are still plenty comfy enough
I have one, wonderful piece of french engineering. I still love more the m3rs for the coupé bulky look, but the 4control is missing, which is very handy. Thanks to your video, I found out that mine is a trophy too, suddenly I don't have trophy written on the front bumper bit, maybe it had an accident. But for now, all I can say is that I'm really satisfied with it. Good job making this vid! Cheers!

Keep up the good work bro graphs for turbo pressure an g force etc on rs moniters are not available on Australian trophy's for some reason so if your in aus an keep scratching your head because you can't retrieve it that's the reason unfortunately the glass panels around the sunroofs are very prone to warping in hot conditions so watch that its a bastard to replace

Iv just bought a flame red 280 2018 with an good spec. cup chassis, bi material brakes, heated alcantara seats.. alcantara steering wheel, bose speakers. rear camera and sensors. I dont think there is a spec it doesnt have? Its also 10k on clock. What did u pay
@@johnboy2436 £23,000 mate and yours sounds similar to mine because mine also had 10,000 miles on when I got it ,the only thing I don't have that you do is the heated steering wheel.

For the phase 2 you need to go into the vehicle access menu and turn off keyless entry otherwise even after deadlocking it it will still unlock as you approach
Check out my other videos on the car mate, I've covered things to look out for etc but overall the cars been faultless to this point besides the battery issue but thats only on the phase 1 (apparently) and a lot of people have had it resolved
Ash, hoping you can help me, I’m looking at one of the MK4’s as next car, I’m trying to work out why some come with a larger screen than others, I thought it was the difference between a 280 and a 300 but doesn’t seem to be the case? Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Steve
I believe there are 2 screens you can spec, 8'7 (which i have) and the smaller one. Pretty sure they aren't specific to model, only the trophy R i know only comes with the smaller screen

@@stevejwwright I don't think you'll be disappointed mate no, still very similar cars, just the trophy is a bit more 'hardcore' and obviously the valved exhaust and recaros are a lovely addition
I'm normally in personal mode, which i have throttle to sport and everything else to race. Race throttle is very 'on/off' but i would say it you want the full experience, race in the twisties

So does this change the 4 wheel steer change over to 60mph over 37mph?? I know it changes over at 37 mph to point in the same direction except in race mode thats at 60mph. So which option in perso does this?? So when your giving it some on b roads when the time and place allows... do you keep that option in person to race? Or do you have it like sport mode, where it changes over at 37mph. Hope you understand my question. Cheers bud
@@johnboy2436 i BELIEVE that modes change the 4 wheel steer, personal mode means you can can charge everything to exactly what you want. I'm not sure how different the 4 wheel steer is in certain modes off the top of my head

So you prefer it in sport so it feels less artificial i take it? i know the rear can rotate quiet abit? Does it feels better for you when it steers the same way below 37mph in apose to 60mph? @@johnboy2436 yeah i'm not sure how much each mode assists with the rear wheel steer, i know its speed based too so does less at higher speeds to keep handling smooth and does more at lower speeds for tighter corners etc And overall i prefer race mode as its all assists off etc so you can get a real feel of what the car is doing underneath you. Sport mode for day to day, especially if you're booting off from a dig because it has TCS on and it'll spin 1st through 2nd even in the dry, and race for the back roads and chasing chumps 😂

You can also disable keyless entry on the phase 1 through the rlink display. First thing I looked for!
