The message of that quote was that sometimes people can justify wrong and selfish acts by them following their dreams...But sometimes you have to realize that your goals may not worth the harm you inflict on others while getting there.
Like choosing a career over your family, or doing shady schemes for a quick buck and fame.
The movie teaches you to know when your dreams might've gone too far, and reflect on what's really right for you to do.

Fusion reactions like this have recently been achieved. The problem is they haven't been able to sustain it long enough to produce more energy than it takes to trigger the fusion reaction. You can make a miniature fusion reaction last I checked the problem is keeping it running and if you manage to do that the question is how do you contain it so it doesn't destroy everything around it?
Thermonuclear weapons are fusion based and basically make a small temporary sun wherever they hit.
The main reason so many are exited for fusion energy breakthroughs is efficiency and ease of fuel access. Because with fusion you can basically use water as fuel by separating it into oxygen and hydrogen. Also last I checked fission (regular nuclear power) is like 40% efficient meanwhile fusion is 100% efficient.

I don't think anyone really gave a shit about Iron Man and if I recall Captain America and Thor didn't make a lot of noise. But the charisma he brought to that character really carried the movie and in turn the monster that marvel movies became.

Without these Spider-Man Films there wouldn't be an MCU. There wouldn't have been any Iron Man or Captain America films. The redemption of RDJ wouldn't be the same. Disney wouldn't have even bought Marvel and created the MCU without the success of the first two Spider-Man Films. All of that hinged on the success of the first two Spider-Man Films.

@@MrJholshouser41 Actually, Iron Man was a huge hit when it first came out and so was Captain America. Thor was considered a good movie but was considered the lesser of the three. It was the success of those three movies that launched the MCU. It was the success of the first two Spider-Man movies that gave movie studios confidence in making movies based off Marvel properties like Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor.
The reality is that those Marvel Characters had always had popularity in culture but it was mostly animated due to the special effects not being up to par to do them. There was talk when I was a kid of Marvel movies back in the early 90s but the effects just weren't there yet.

I remember how down i was and how i felt for peter when i saw this the first time. Thing is, in the end he almost gets everything back except Harry. When you finish this movie it leaves you behind with an extremly good feeling although you came from almost nothing and that makes this movie so watchable.
Love the fight scenes in this so much and Alfred Molina is exceptional in this movie.

I can’t remember who pointed this out, but it’s amazing how much of a sacrificial hero Peter Parker is. He has a huge taste of how bad his personal life is because of being Peter Parker as Spider-Man-losing friendships and the girl he loves, failing school, getting fired, not making rent, etc. But not only that.. when he gives up being Spider-Man, he gets a taste of having everything that Peter Parker could want. Being there for his friends, family and the girl of his dreams, passing class, making rent, doing well at his jobs. But then he realizes what it costs the world when he gives up the moral responsibility of having those powers. Having had a taste of the good life, he STILL chooses to sacrifice it all, sacrifice his life as Peter Parker just to do the right thing for the greater good, even though he gets the crap kicked out of him and the press hates him and sometimes the people hate him. He still knows enough that it’s the right thing to do, that he’s willing to make that sacrifice. Truly heroic.

It’s your opinion but objectively Spider-Man 2 is nowhere near to a 10/10, it’s more of a 7.5/10. A 10/10 movie is a masterpiece, one of the best movies of all time, it fulfills every filmmaking aspect and it doesn’t have any flaws and the acting except from 2 actors is bad and the writing is far from perfect, it has the worse written relationship in a Spidey movie, and it has multiple plot holes like Peter allowing himself to be unmakes by Harry and one of the biggest plot holes in a Spider-Man movie with the scene in the cafeteria.
Doc Ock plan…Before the accident that caused him to become the villainous Doctor Octopus, Otto Octavious wanted to create a sustainable fashion reactor. After the accident, he still wants to create it even though there is no reason.
Doc Ock attack on Peter and MJ is one of the biggest plot holes in a SM movie, it’s so horrible. Harry told Doc Ock to look for Peter, who he believed to be friends with Spider-Man but asked him not to harm Peter. Doc Ock agreed and found Peter in a café with MJ and attacked them by throwing a car at them, but luckily, the plot gave Peter the powers back with no explanation as to why and how but just because. But Doc Ock didn’t know Peter was Spider-Man, so he didn’t know he had powers that could save him and MJ from being hit by the flying car, and he needed Peter to locate Spider-Man so Harry would give him the tritium he desperately needed.
Etc…TWD, Logan, Spiderverse, etc, are way better.

You can harness fusion energy into an endless energy source theoretically, but I don't think we're there yet, mainly because of the damage it would cause.
