Plus some Russians moved into Crimea after 2014 which would also make a vote not fair. I so hope Ukraine drives Russia literally out of everything…then let Ukrainians work with Crimea and the Far East of Ukraine on a way forward with those regions STAYING in Ukraine. Russia has been stirring up dissension in Serbia, Georgia, Chechnya etc for over two decades. I don’t believe sanctions can stop until Russia is driven out AND starts paying War reparations. Useful information. I can well imagine Russians taking "Слава нації!" out of context and trying to convince us Westeners that the second word is something quite different... 😂
Actually I believe for Russians the word for Nation sounds even more like nazi (natsii or natsiya) There is a story behind how the term came to be in Germany and it is unfortunate that these words sound so similar but it shouldn't stop people from using them. Can you imagine if they were to strike Z from the Latin alphabet just because its being used the way it is in Russia? It might be the least used letter but that's really not the point.
@@Rob09734 There's indeed a clear etymological connection there - ultimately the context for use is key, as you pointed to in terms of Z. Though Zorro films do look a little funny now 😅

The variant "Glory to Ukraine!" with the answer "Glory to the Heroes!" was adopted as an organizational greeting password among members of the OUN and UPA at the beginning of World War II. She is not going to tell you that, it would be too embarrassing for her. While "Slava Ukraine" is a legitimate cry with roots in the time around the 1st world war, the rest of it goes back to the nazi collaborators like Bandera and his OUN, and the criminal UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army). UPA was mostly busy killing in most brutal ways non-Ukrainian civilians in the years 1943-44, in an attempt to pave the way for an ethnically uniform Ukrainian state.
When this slogan was created (during WW2 by their nazi group) you had to make a gesture with your arm like German nazi did after hi .itler 😃😃😃 so, that means for you it’s okay if people around gonna cry out hi .itler 😂😂😂
Thank you so much for these phrases! 🥰 I recognise most of these from watching the news. I am only using the nice phrases, though...😅 At least not "death to enemies", because I am against violence and it is such a shame that the blood-related Ukraine, Belarus and Russia are engaged in this terrible conflict. Слава Україні!
Slava Ukraini- glory to Ukraine!💙💛🇺🇦🙏
The variant "Glory to Ukraine!" with the answer "Glory to the Heroes!" was adopted as an organizational greeting password among members of the OUN and UPA at the beginning of World War II. Bandera movements supported by the Third Reich of Nazi Germany.
Joseph Goebbels
"Banderites are insane maniacs or, in other words, brutalized cattle.
But these are the ones we need in this period of time to destroy the recalcitrant Slavs.
And then they themselves must be destroyed, since animals have no place among people."
Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦❤🇩🇪

What’s the history behind it ? How it started?
She is not going to tell you that, it would be too embarrassing for her. While "Slava Ukraine" is a legitimate cry with roots in the time around the 1st world war, the rest of it goes back to the nazi collaborators like Bandera and his OUN, and the criminal UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army). UPA was mostly busy killing in most brutal ways non-Ukrainian civilians in the years 1943-44, in an attempt to pave the way for an ethnically uniform Ukrainian state.
Za Ukrainu! Za yii vollu!
Слава Україні _ Героям слава.🇺🇦🇲🇽
When this slogan was created (during WW2 by their nazi group) you had to make a gesture with your arm like German nazi did after hi .itler 😃😃😃 so, that means for you it’s okay if people around gonna cry out hi .itler 😂😂😂

Привіт-привіт! Love you my sister!
I hope Ukraine can celebrate Palm Sunday in peace this year. That is my wish. 😁
How Belarus is connected to this conflict?
