So any plans for making a team that would abuse the intimidate ability and then have Pokemon that are only weak to physical moves? Or maybe just find a way to make a competitive Pokemon team that would only use metronome?
One cool thing with mold breaker tinkaton is that it ignores Mimikyu's disguise, which means you can one shot it with gigaton hammer most of the time making it kind of a hard counter. Of course mimikyu isn't common enough to demand having a hard counter to it on your team, but its still fun when it comes up, and I do think people underestimate Tinkaton as a support mon a lot.
@@supremechaosbeing2696 my favorite interaction is being able to helping hand gholdengo. I don’t know why, but I find it amusing that those two specific pokes have synergy.
I've been stubbornly using it and have found individual uses for it in both series 1 and 2. It has a fast fake out and was able to outspeed and Knock off Choice Specs Gholdengo and OHKO Adamant Mimikyu in series 1 and AV Tinkaton squares up against Roaring Moon, Iron Bundle, and Flutter Mane fairly well. I feel like a specially bulky Sitrus Berry Tinkaton would be good in a similar way while providing Helping Hand support as well.
As somebody whose favorite is Spidops, I will always respect people making their favorites work no matter how viable they are. Makes everything feel more personal, y’know?

I’m about two thirds of the way through, and it’s so awesome to see Wolfey mentoring someone closer to his level! The coaching here is more like collaborating than instructing, which is more interesting to me.
I think those couple of battles where the other person actually does just have to do it alone and you comment on their decisions after the fact is a _really_ interesting addition to these kinds of videos. This time, it was because you had to go to a meeting, but maybe in future, you could offer live commentary, but mute yourself on Discord (or whatever you're using)? I'm not a fan of the old-timey voice filter, though. I appreciate that you added subtitles to those parts, but I feel like the video filter should be enough to get the point across.
Oh yeah, Mold Breaker makes it able to use Helping Hand on Gholdengo, ghats smart. I actually forgot about Good as Gold one time and used Sableye's Helping Hand on it and failing miserably
Tinkaton would be so much better if gigaton hammer was super effective against steel types and would make sense as well due to the pokedex entry talking about how it beats up corviknight even tho at the moment corv walls non terastalized tinkaton without trying
If you’re open to team suggestions, or trying it out. I’d love to see your take on an Oricorio dancer team, even if it’s sub dancer. I tried it myself but it wasn’t phenomenal by any means and I’m sure if you can do much better.
Win 10 Games with MandJTV’s worst 6 pokémon list. 1. Luvdisc 2. Delibird 3. Spinda 4. Unown 5. Wobbufet 6. Pyukumuku Spinda can run Contrary superpower, pyukumuku focused on toxicing other pokémon, wobbufet is rlly a hit or miss with mirror coat/counter, unown is just there, etc. You might be able to make this team work, and if you can huge props. Good luck if you accept this challenge
24:40 World Champ Difference: It's a play to just wail on our opponents like we did in high school, you wouldn't believe how many comp-dudebros I deleted on showdown back in the days with this.
At 16:47, RT should have helping hand + icy wind. It would near guarantee the KO on Baxcalibur (contingent on not missing) and would also probable take out the Indeedee (or do good damage on the Murkrow, who was crippled by psychic terrain blocking priority regardless.)
I honestly love the idea of Mold Breaker on a support oriented pokemon. I understand the ability to hit levitate pokemon with ground moves or ignoring sturdy, but most offensive pokemon with the ability are much like Rampardos: high offense with nothing else to show for it. Then there’s Tinkaton. Again, being able to Fake Out in Front of Farigaraf and being able to Paralyze Gholdengo and Garg is great, but getting Encore, which can hit through magic bounce pokemon, and being able to use helping hand on Gholdengo can be rather priceless. All this thing needs is Parting Shot and Taunt and it will be a monster.
Would love for you to make a video about composing a VGC team for scarlet/violet! I know that there are 1,000,000 different play styles but maybe a super general guide about team comp + balance
Quick question for the editor: how did you find the images for the moves freeze-dry and hydro pump at 4:45. I want to use something like it for a video of my own
Tinkaton didn’t have to be done dirty like that, I would have given it a 130 base attack stat and alter gigaton hammer to 110 or 120 base attack with 90 accuracy

This was such a genuinely cool experience - thank you again for coaching me!
It's the man himself! Complete youtube of a lad, I tell ya!
omg RTGame hi !!!😸☝️
hi dad
It was a great stream too! im so happy to see a comentary on it. Absolute youtubes, both of you
nice idea
He's building an empire with all the creators he's getting into competitive
He's gonna lead his army against the mainstream esports communities
Could say all the pieces of the puzzle of his empire are falling together
He is making a business out of it

I love that Wolf has basically become a Pokémon sensei to UA-camrs across the platform. Very nice.
He and Aaron Zheng got me to top 200 in VGC on Switch even though I've never played competitive before.
Great content too :)
Tinkaton immediately became one of my favorites from this gen. So I can relate to wanting to make it work no matter what.
It's really unfortunate how bad it is. I love its design

I love how RT always leads with Tinkaton regardless of the opponents team. Just shows how much he likes it.

Let's be honest RTGame was an absolute machine before wolfy and now he's even scarier
This collaboration is what we call a youtube moment
I started watching your channel more than 2 years ago and seeing your channel grow has been so amazing!! Keep it up Wolfe!
It's cool seeing both somgon and vgc, I forget how different and intricate each are
somgon
It's great seeing Wolfey coach a real UA-cam like this. It's all part of his master plan to make a real life Pokémon League!
This man is such a UA-cam for teaching RTGames
WCD brother XD
One thing that I wish got addressed a bit was helping hand gholdengo with tinkaton. It does so much damage that I feel its at least worth a mention
Oh yeah, Mold Breaker makes it able to use Helping Hand on Gholdengo, ghats smart. I actually forgot about Good as Gold one time and used Sableye's Helping Hand on it and failing miserably

The hard read into the trick room team was so cool.

Always nice to see Uncle Wolfey collabing with father
The World Champ and the Drift King, an unstoppable pair
I was worried about the ground weakness as the team was being formed, but then remembered Tera was a thing.
the 2 best youtubers collab no way
Every time I watch one of Wolfeys videos I always feel like I learn more and more about vgc
Seeing wolfeys knowledge just inspires me to get into competitive, but I have no idea where to start
Ayyy, always love to see the Drift King! He has prior experience, so this should be good!
I like that wolf helps so many people he's raising everyone's skills even if they are his competitors props to wolf
love this video dan is my favourite Silly Little Guy and wolfey is the only way i understand competitive ever
