Is it just me or is Paul F Tompkins (on top of being an awesome voice actor) REALLY good at interviewing people? He lets them talk (not trying to out-funny anyone), he asks good questions and is interested in the answers and has a good rapport with the interviewees.
Yeah he is, I felt that he was putting on a face a little bit. You should watch Joe Rogans podcasts if you get a chance and haven't already. It's so good and such a natural conversation
Only Aziz Ansari would turn an interview about him into an interview about him interviewing someone else. :) I respect him even more now. I could never understand how an individual can sit around while someone asks questions about them. I feel like I would be so uncomfortable I would just start asking them the same questions back.
Any other interviewer would have mentioned his name when Aziz was describing Louis. The fact that Tompkins let the audience figure out who Aziz was talking about was great.

That Prometheus joke was one of the quickest smart jokes I have ever heard. Not a gut buster but damn witty! Loved Paul F. Tompkins on Mr. Show but I had no idea how quick-witted he is.
The Golden Rosary man you should listen to his podcast spontanianation and on comedy bang bang him and Scott auckerman are so fast and witty I love how quick they are it makes they're improv is so GREAT
The suit talk is the best part. Really like dressing up for my comedy sets and just hearing how much thought goes into it makes me feel seen and validated. Thanks for leading the charge, PFT and Aziz. I can't wait to be an older gentleman too.

try listening to Django Reinhardt, and anything that's been influenced by him. also look up David Grisman. this is not exactly what's playing in the interview, but it's the same genre and sound
