    “ negative but not mean spirited “ is useful from people you trust as a team xx
    It helps to shape with structure not mean spirited bcus there are too many hateful people like that in society who want to see others fail . That’s sad.
    Believe in yourself and follow through your ideas of kindness
    Well done both of you👍
    Great strength 😀

    I absolutely loved this video. It was really refreshing to hear real people have real conversations. Oprah's definition of vulnerability and the conversation about living with intention were incredible. Thank you ladies. I hope to one day have my own spot in a place among incredible mentors.

    I would like to know what does Oprah do with all the truth that her three friends tell her? I find O very sincere, open and HUMBLE. With this interview I realized that she knows that she is not PERFECT and has lots of things to learn from others. Loved it.

    I don't ever tell myself I can't do anything if ya all understand. I'm all for pushing myself forward. Those voices in your head telling me I can't do this, I'm not good enough - is not me. Generally it come from my parents and the sad thing was, years ago, my Mom told me that I could be what ever I wanted to be. You can't ride a horse, you might fall off. You can't surf, what if there was a shark or a whale underneath you. You could go to college and study physiology but it involves a lot of paperwork, and more and you want to be done with studying - don't you? Because there's no guarantee of a job afterwards. So sometimes she has put me off. So I'm at the point where I don't tell her what I want to do, if I do it, I do it because I don't want her reasonings and logic to be talked out of the things I want to do

    What Oprah said: What if you work for someone else, if my intention is not to please those around me (but intentionally living for myself) how can I break that?; with bills, rent, requirement for income etc... anyone?

    There is a part of me that wishes Oprah would just accept her weight as well as she's accepted everything else life has given her. Its just a body, and some bodies are bigger and hold more weight no matter what you eat or how much you exercise. So, I do find it less encouraging that after all her successes and inspiration she still thinks that a failure. She's so wise, but still a human subjected to ideas of what is beautiful.

    • @BrittanniBelow
      @BrittanniBelow  6 років тому +2

      I can agree.. I also I think it's good that she doesn't ever just give up on continuing to be healthier. She isn't perfect. I'm not either, but she does inspire me to stay on track - weight is her issue... but we all have one.

      I think she's so beautiful and even more so now. Such a beautiful soul and she's helped so many.

    • @moirosalina
      @moirosalina 6 років тому +4

      Why do you find that less encouraging? She is only human, and thus imperfect. She allowed herself to be vulnerable by admitting she still hasn't accepted that part of her, and that to me is very insync to the ideas of the woman she is being interviewed by, who is all about allowing yourself to show your imperfections and being brave enough to be vulnerable. It kind of feels like she feels safe enough here to be really open.

      I think its part of what makes her human... it comes down to "nobody is perfect" we all struggle in any way, shape or form. I think deep down inside Oprah knows she is beautiful just the way she is but theres always that little something we wish could have been different about us.
