I could make baguette content all day any day 😌
Why r u so cute?
I love waking up to videos from Inga. 😘 Please do some longer form content too! I could watch you all day!
you always think so outside of the box it's so refreshing
you actually think of things i wouldn't think to do and i love that
Works for me. Make more. Bread is life.
I just love baguette, do I love it more now. Yes. Thank you Inga
The onion soup segment deserves to be a standalone video in itself. Straightforward, pratical way of making it! Inga is so talented, beautiful.
That’s how most recipes tell you to make it
i love that Inga not only made 6 dishes with 1 baguette, but it's a full course meal from breakfast to dessert!
She's on another level, like when you listen to a song that's not only written and performed by the artist, but it's also catchy, intelligent and lyrics have multiple interperetations.
@@usmcplu You mean the Stupendium?
When someone actually has a sweater that has a bread logo on it, you know they really love bread lol
Bread!
@@meganthings Bread?
No Keto!
I'm Italian and I'm actually from Tuscany and it is great to see Inga try making panzanella! These are some tips for sticking more to the original recipe. First of all it should be an old bread (pane raffermo) because this recipe is meant to save it from being thrown away. Then you have to soak it in the water, otherwise you are making a salad with bread not panzanella. The dressing should be easier, just olive oil, salt and (balsamic or not) vinegar. I usually make this in the summer because it is really fresh and easy to make! It is meant to be a main dish and not a side dish. The original ingredients are tomatoes, onions, basil and cucumbers but you can add whatever you want to make it more rich, like canned tuna ☺️💛
inga makes me feel so happy and her content almost feels like it came straight out studio ghibli-- literally reminds me of the 'simple' yet fulfilling life in from up on poppy hill🧡🥖
Sometimes to wind down I rewatch her ratatouille video 🥰
Doing the French Toast thing with Baguette is actually something i have seen in Germany a few times. Is a dish that uses up stale white bread, soaking it in an egg and milk mixture, fried in a pan and seved with applesauce and cinnamon sugar. It´s called Armer Ritter, translating to poor knight.
That is, at least as much as the legend goes, the origins of French Toast. Stale baguettes that have become hard can be saved by re-humidifying it. In fact, in French it's called "Pain Perdu", which translates to "lost bread".
@@SolarLiner true
In Netherlands we call it "wentelteef"
In Switzerland we call it fotzelschnitte and it’s actually what we will make tomorrow!
Baguettes are definitely the correct way to do French toast. Softer breads end up dissolving way to easily in the egg, but the egg softens the crust for baguettes.
I felt like we have seen Inga grown up through these years
When she was on buzzfeed I felt there was a bit shyness everytime she was on camera
But now, she is GLOWING, i can see maturity and confidence shine through
Always excited to watch ur videos Inga!!!
“Not Another Cooking Show” JUST did a French onion soup recipe as well and he had a really interesting technique of putting croutons on top of the soup instead of whole slices so you can get bread bites without having to cut through it! If y’all ever did a collaboration that would make my day.
Actually in France we call french toasts "pain perdu" (litteraly "lost bread"), because we use leftover, hardened bread for it, so baguette is kinda usual to make it here, and we have the same kind of texture you have, more on the cripsy side sometimes, due to the leftover bread
Inga’s plating is ELITE
Knowing how much Inga loves bread, I know she had the time of her life filming this video, and it shows.
LOVE THIS! Please do a bread series - 6 dishes with sourdough, bagels, croissants etc. 😍
YESSSS OMG
I love your way of presenting food, it seems so effortless to you but you make everything you make look sooooo good
Strangely enough I bought a baguette at the store today. I was feeling inspired and here are some recipes! Perfect!
i remember doing this because theres a french bakery near my house (5 min walk) i buy 3-5 baguette because it would be gone by 3 days. Remember, your baguette is not stale. you just need to reheat it with a glass of water. Also, there's no shame on eating your baguette in one sitting without cutting them.
Week 2 of asking Andrew to cook for his next part in the series of : I cooked 25 pound of... Please use carrots and have your mom make you the carrot cake u have eaten for every year on your birthday and if possible please make 'Gajar ka halwa' which is an idian sweet dish made out of grated carrots, sugar, milk and different spices
The first recipe is actually quite similar to a Spanish traditional Easter one, we call it “torrijas” 🤗
"here to talk to you about...bread!"
[insert great laugh]
Such a fun public persona!
Every dish looks so delicious! This video is not suitable to watch late at night. 😅
nothing makes me more happy than people saying the great british bake off instead of the great british baking show, still don't know why the name was changed for the US lol
Her videos are so calming!
This is so beautifully shot; everything looks super delicious!
love your video and passion for bread.
French toast is one of my most cherished childhood memories. in France we called it "pain perdu" which means "lost bread". (it is usually made with ancient bread pieces that can't be eaten as they are too hard) My grandmother had the simplest recipe with only egg soaking, then in a pan with butter, and finally sugar when it's off the pan. growing up I decided to put the sugar during the pan frying so the bread it gets coated in butter caramel. it melts my heart each time.
I always put cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, sugar, vanilla extract and heavy cream in with my eggs. I've never tried putting sugar directly in the pan to make like a caramel coating that sounds 👍 👌
@@mandywaynick8725 it is very good but needs a good amount of butter, and heat control, or it will turn into burnt sugar too fast...
@@lukamerlet4902 yea I bet, cooking with sugar or things with sugar can be very finicky
What a fun and relaxing video - THANKS so much ! brightened up my whole week 😃
The way I’m obsessed with this woman and her love for bread
Honestly Inga has always cooked better than I could ever, but is it just me or is she getting to chef level?? The presentation on everything here is *chefs kiss*
This video gave me so many ideas, thank you and so beautifully shot and edited, too
I immediately came to watch this this morning because who doesn’t want to eat everything on fresh bread?
SUPER video. My favorite part was the French onion soup. I just got done microwaving a whole onion in my ceramic pot with lid. Just 2 tbsp of butter on top of the onion....4 min...done. Perfect for FOS. Thanx for the inspiration. 🤩
aaaa all the dishes looked absolutely delicious!! Love this
I make baguette croutons for my french onion soup and use them in place of the bread slices under the cheese. Same great flavor but much easier to eat
Your videos always feel so comfy and relaxed, thank you
This is such a good amalgamation of recipes! Thank you Inga
Bagettes, french bread, chaibatta bread, all these breads are literally top tier in my book. love the crust, love the soft chewy inside. You will never convince me those types of breads are not the best. the rest have their place but they cannot compare.
Your presentations are so good!
Actually, in my country (Morocco) we use leftover baguette to make French toast because we always have a lot of stale baguette. My mom would use the "tradition" baguette to make french toast on a sunday morning and it's always so good cause the bread, as you said, is sturdier and has more chew preventing it from over-soaking.
OMG the quality of the video as well as the way you filmed all the foods make me want to try making ALL of the dishes this weekend. Amazing! (First time seeing a video of ATE btw)
Love this content how you experimented different dishes with just one 🥖! That crostini looks so delicious and love your bread shirt. 😊
Your presentation and plating is gorgeous!
This is exactly how my family in France makes French toast “pain perdu” - you use old baguette!! Always found American French Toast too soft (Still yummy).
The french toast recipe is one my favorite ! It smells like a Sunday afternoon ! In France we call it "pain perdu " literally lost bread and we use left over baguette that is stale !
Love the video, as usual !
Your bowl thing that you used for the Mac and cheese is absolutely gorgeous
Tip on French toast: coat with sugar and put under broiler (but watch very carefully) for a brûlée sugar topping. Toss in orange zest in the whip cream
Petition... I want inga to see at make it fancy with rei! It would be lovely to watch and see them make a simple dish into fancy food.
Merci, c’est magnifique! Bravo! Plz do making 6 dishes with a different food plz, I love these series.
I loove these recipes!! Probably the only thing I wouldn't do is the mustard in the salad dressing. That kind of flavor doesn't really work with the rest of the ingredients imo- but obviously that's just my personal taste, haha.
Making "french toast" (Arme Ritter) here in Germany is actually done with any kind of stale bread you have, because it's a recipe invented to save the bread from being thrown away. The bread is soaked in a milk/egg/sugar/cinnamon mixture, which gives it back moisture, but usually it still retains some bite to it.
French bread pizza is one of my favorite ways of using french bread, and I've found that making a version with baguette slices is delicious too!
Your cooking and ingredient quality are clearly well above those of the average home cook, but your plating and presentation of what you've made are just stunning.
someone stole your comment oof
@@ryanchon8702 I'll take it as a compliment!
I dislike soggy bread so I never wanted to make bread pudding, but Inga's looked so good I want to make it! Especially since it looked like the baguette kept its texture for the most part.
Oh yeah, i could eat a well made baguette in one sitting too. Its not just the flavor, but the texture inside and out. Its my favorite bread
I love baguettes, and when I went to France for a two month study abroad program, the baguette sandwiches were my favorite. I also loved that I could buy 1/3 of a baguette at the grocery store for less than 2 euros since I don’t need a whole baguette just for myself without it going hard
I am now craving every single dishes you make its soo good👍👏
Love how nothing is wasted. Well done Inga!
I would love to see the recipe for that caramel sauce. Sounds heavenly 😍🔥😍
Cheers, 2 years ago. Thank you for the wonderful ideas for the week. I'm going to be cooking up a storm for my wife. I never thought of bread puddling before but I'm going to give it a try.
Agree with Inga! You will only be able to make these dishes if you have TWO baguettes. The first one would be finished right after bought🤣🤣
this bread queen energy is what we need :')
Simple and sweet
The plating is so perfect.
I’ve watched every A.T.E. Video and this is by far my favorite!
I am french and I live in France. There’s no day where we don’t have some Baguette for meal. Often we finish the meal with some cheese and baguette or use the baguette to dunk it in some leftover sauce (“saucer”).
It's so funny - you presented every one of my go to bread centric recipes in 1 Video xD
The only real difference to how I make These recipes was that I always add a bit of finely grated apple to the bread pudding (in Austria this dish is called Scheiterhaufen - which translates to pyre ^^*)
Yessssss loved this video
Impeccable camerawork and sound design choices. Absolutely impeccable
All the serving dishes were soooo pretty
I would honestly love a written out recipe of every thing Inga made to try them out myself!!😊
I just read the caption , saw the bread and clicked on the video just to watch Inga showing her Owen tricks 😂 . Just loved her ❤️.
I’ve recently become obsessed with eating baguettes. the ones from costco’s bakery are sooo good
How does she make it look so easy, like I am struggling with the first dish she made
9:17, Rie would be so proud!
A bit late to the party, but if anybody is into bread, there is a spanish desert called "torrija", is usually eaten in easter (semana santa is how the holiday is called over here), and basically is fried stale bread with milk, cinnamon and some syrup. I'm sure there should be a recipe somewhere online, and it's really one of my favourite treats, even when I follow tradition and only eat a couple of them during "their season".
Inga you are the cutest and sweetest lady on UA-cam! You are a delight, keep shining bright 😊🌿
Onion soup, steak & panzanella and bread pudding sounds like an amazing 3-course date dinner
This bread video has truly made me happy.
Anyone who likes bread this much has my respect. 😁 More baguette content is fine by me. Sometime, consider trying crostini fegatini. It's the most traditional flavor, and IMHO the best, but youtube chefs are usually afraid of it.
Okay but her presentation is STUNNING
Bread pudding is also good with pieces of cooked pear and chocolate chips!
That you for the video Inga. I love, love, love, your beautiful smile!
I have been ready and waiting for this all morning 🥖🥖
I'm drooling for the dessert one 🤤
As a baguette lover this video is so satisfying
It’s nice to see you enjoy all your dishes.
I prefer Turkish loaves... I just love toasting them a little and topping with savoury delights! Just made red wine and garlic mushrooms to have on top!
Your videos are my comfort zone
OMG I need a baguette all the recipes look good and Reí would be so proud of all the liquor use on the on Desert lol
In France, we have so much recipes with bread as the main ingredient :)
We eat bread with almost literally everything XD
Nghe xong bài này cái thấy tâm trạng buồn và nặng nề kinh khủng. Nhưng lại cứ phải replay hoài cả ngày😍
Oooh, would love to know how to do the whiskey/coffee/caramel sauce! Also, any tips on what to do with the leftover egg wash used for french toast etc? I always feel like I am wasting by throwing it out.
Here in France, French toast is called "Pain perdu", "lost bread", and we use dry baguette to prepare it. So in a way, you did your french toast in the most french way possible !
Amazing as always, Inga! Your windowsill deserves hazard pay after the bread pudding recipe. 🤣
All of these dishes look so delicious! I don’t think I’d be able to stretch an entire baguette like that though… most would end up in my stomach as “snacking bread” beforehand 😅😅😂
Part 2 please!
Cafe with Inga. She’s the best 🤩
I can listen to inga talking about bread for hours
Where did you get that wonderful bowl for French onion soup?
In Portugal we actually use baguettes to make french toast (rabanadas) which we eat mostly at Christmas time. The first time I saw them made with brioche I thought "nooooo, they're going to fall apart!" 😅🤣
Gonna buy a baguette now. Brb haha so good Inga!
INGAAAA!!! ❤️
love them!
