Just a tip, you can buy a spray gun handle that fits on spray cans, very useful so your finger doesn’t get sore after. I paint electric guitars with spray cans and this is ver useful and easy to use.
I would paint only if I wanted a change of color. I like my white chairs. I lined them up and they all looked gross. I tried TSP, Ajax, Clorox Clean-Up. Nothing worked. Last ditch effort: Bleach. Plain Bleach sprayed on and scrubbed until they were clean. They were so clean I decided that I was going to return the Krylon paint (for plastic), as I felt they looked clean and new and didn’t need the painting after all!!
I love the Rustoleum 2X Ultra Cover. It covers way better than the bargin brand. Even though it costs more, I think it has worked out cheaper since it doesn't take so many coats.

Hi, how many cans did you use for all four chairs?
I think I used about 4 cans for all four chairs with some left over of each color.
love rustoleum paint but i could buy new chairs for the price of paint here.
Hey, you found a real bargain on chairs. But if you have some good heavy duty chairs that aren't so inexpensive, you may want to save them.
Good idea if you want a new color. But have you seen videos on restoring plastic chairs with fire?

When my finger starts to hurt, I just change to my thumb -- classic.
And sometimes the OTHER finger and thumb. LOL
