The SteelStik is a great tip, I didn't know about that! My only concern/suggestion is that when sanding rust always wear a proper respirator. Also, backdrop and respirator for spray paint. Backdrop to mitigate chemicals going on plants/wildlife from the toxic paint.
Great video! ❤ I ordered the products to fix my patio furniture. Thank you so much for creating this video!
SO AWESOME!!!💓🎉 THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!🙌😍🙏
Love the blue colour made the chiars pop. The table would look good in a vibrant pink 💗💙
Belinda- That’s what I was thinking but got talked out of it! Now I’m debating it in my head
What an awesome transformation!! I LOVE that color & it looks amazing in a coastal area!!
That color is so pretty! I think a white table would go really well with these chairs.
I was thinking white or a little bolder since the shed is white and was worried it might blend too much.
I've never heard of that steel stick before. I have a patio chair that has a broken support bar on the legs that I can use this to fix.
Thanks for the tip! 😊
Wow they came out beautiful, just like new!! 😃 Blue is my color, but this is by far my favorite tone of blue!
Almost the color of the Robin’s Egg Blue that Tiffany & Co is famous for. ❤ I agree with your viewer, Black Swan, that suggested a white table. Whatever you do Mona I am sure it will be stunning! Can’t wait to see it!! Be safe and Blessings. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Kathleen-
It is kind of close to that color! I've been pondering on it for awhile and can't seem to decide. ❤️
Very informative video. Missed some of what you were saying, though because background music was distracting and competed with your instructions.
First time I've seen that Steel stuff. Thanks for showing it. 💚😊💚
You do have a genius for turning literal trash into a thing of beauty. Definitely don’t want the people that put these at the curb to see them, they’d want them back.😀
You are way too kind! I just love transforming stuff and keeping it out of the trash! I don't think the people would recognize them!
Mona, I absolutely love that color. The chairs turned out beautiful!! How long did that take you to complete? Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I'm glad you like it! No that long! I removed the rust and cleaned off the dust and dirt. Dried it. Did the rust reformer. Once the rust reformer dried, I added the filler. It doesn't take that long to cure but I think I waited overnight. The next day I sanded, primed, and painted. So, two days but not full days.
I LOVE my used, formerly rusty patio chairs! I do have to touch them up every couple of years, but I think they’re really worth it. Thanks for the steel stick (?) tip. Mine weren’t quite bad enough for that, but that could come in handy.😊
Yes! Totally worth it! It's SteelStik, I have it linked in the description and you can find everything here too: www.craftklatch.com/how-to-get-rust-off-of-metal-furniture-fix-it/
Stunning! You have listed in your description JB weld original, where did you use it in the video please?
Came here with the same question! lol. It’s listed but I didn’t see her use it?
respectfully, a table for those 2 huuge chairs needs to be wayyy bigger than that puny thing.. .at leeeeast 42".. ..
Scary spraying outside with no regard for birds bees and ground water. 😮
Thank you so much for the SteelStik reference and example of how to apply it! A buddy of mine (and his wife) gifted me a patio set because they received a new one for their 25th wedding anniversary. I was thrilled to get a free set, but when I brought it home I realized it needed a lot of "love"! Your video showing the SteelStik is really going to help me, and I plan to pick it up tomorrow to finish my restoration project! Thanks again for this wonderful video! 😁
I’m so happy you found it helpful! That was the first time I used the @jbweld SteelStik and was so impressed, I’ve used it is several times since. I’d love to see your before and after!
