    you marked the uni joint & the flange so you can line them up, but you forgot to mark the actual driveshaft so you can line the flange back up with it first. Otherwise a brilliant job.

    Thanx, my 2005, Nissan Navara needs a new bearing and think the job is going to be very similar.
    Do u recommend take the prop shaft of the van or can it be done in situ ??

    Well done. You should wear gloves to save those hands. Have you tried doing this job on a BA Falcon? A lot more mucking around.

      Thanks for the visit Boss Dog, when one is a 30 year veteran mechanic, wearing gloves now is a tad too late, calloused hands are like built in permanent gloves LOL, but thanks for the thought.

    should you use threadlocker?

    • @vehiclemaintenanceandrepai3790
      @vehiclemaintenanceandrepai3790  3 роки тому

      Thanks for your support 2460speedy, no thread locker is not necessary, just make sure you tighten all bolts sufficiently. In all my years as a mechanic I never ever used thread locker and never had any problems as a result.

    How to find center if you didn't mark the centre?
    thanks

      Then you have to guess Dimche and if it vibrates while driving you need to have it balanced.
