- Confronto tra i due synth analogici: DeepMind 6 e 12. Vedremo come e perchè con la stessa patch i due synth suonano in maniera differente. Dimostrerò anche come la sensibilità delle due tastiere sia estremamente diversa, sotto il punto di vista della velocity e della sensiblity velocity. Infine un consiglio sull'acquisto.

Hi, I'm guessing that the output level difference, is adapted to 6 voices resp. 12 voices available on the two synths. To recreate sounds from a 6 voice classic synth, you should go for a 6 voice version. Otherwise voice stealing will not behave the same, when playing with sustain pedal or with longer release time for the envelope generators (ADSR)
I know there was a sound difference, between DSI's Mopho Key vs. Prophet08, when I had them both, and played the same preset patch 🙂

Hi! I'm going to order the deepmind 6 from thomann. What's the reliability of the synth so far? Are 6 voices enough for lush pads? Thanks
Ciao, si sono sufficienti nella maggior parte dei casi il suono lo dovresti impostare in polymode, altrimenti le 6 voci le sprechi con solo 3 note. In quel caso è un po' poco.

This would be so helpful if I understood it LOL! I’m trying to decide which one to buy cause I’m poor. But it seems like the 12 is only a couple hundred more so if I save just a little longer it might be worth it?
If you haven't yet come to a decision, you might want to opt for a DeepMind 12D module. This is the one I chose a couple of weeks ago and I don't regret it. It's extremely compact and any MIDI-capable keyboard makes for a nice companion to it. In case you already own one, this will save you quite some (your currency's name here). I mostly use the Arturia KeyStep 37 whose three octaves of keys and rich features (including aftertouch, chord support, and MIDI CC control capability) complement the DeepMind perfectly.
@@m1nnefr3d I appreciate your reply. I think I’m gonna try for the 12, cause my only keyboard, while midi ready is a cheap Casio, and I think I just want a one stop shop solution. Peace

Hi, why not engage auto translate included in UA-cam? I often use it to understand most of comments, during playback. But if they speak a bit fast or mumble, it turns into weird phrases..😄
Hard to tell a difference between 12 voice and 6 voice, only difference I know of is $200.. lol
