With cloud gaming becoming viable like NVidia Geoforce now, I can see Sony and Nintendo being the last consoles. Companies dont want you to own anything physically for financial reasons, look what happened to the movie industry for a direct example. The upside is gaming may be more accessible and have less of a carbon/rare earth footprint. This keeps me holding onto my physical collection as history has shown its inherent value.
I enjoy catching up with the news from you guys, and on the members front I wonder what the threshold is as the podcast isn't all that far from this channel and that has members enabled?
Microsoft must be thinking what else can they do. They tried backwards compatible it made no difference, they tried an affordable console with the series s it didn't work, they tried with gamepass and bring every exclusive game to console/pc day one but it's not affordable and doesn't work in the long run, they really lost the biggest console war ever with PS4. Xbox1, I think the only thing that will work for them is gamepass and their own handheld or they need to do a deal with steam for gamepass to have an official steam app and just be focussed on being a subscription and not a console maker
It's pretty accurate how the public perceive it. Weirdly Playstation has the rep for premium and dominates the market. But the Xbox Series X is a more powerful computer, but that message doesn;t seem to get through from them. Nintendo is different, not sure on the family friendly part (games like Metroid, Doom or Skyrim wouldn't sit in that camp) but for sure they're focus and appeal isn't the same as PS & Xbox.
@@128KB-NewsThere is a reason more games run better on the PS5. It was actually designed better for games being made. The PS5 is more powerful where it counts while the Xbox One X is technically more powerful overall but it's not optimized. The Sega Saturn was technically more powerful than the PSX....
So Xbox wants to be a software game license company. You will own nothing and they can end your play at any time with a terms of service change or server shutdown.
Yeah maybe, like Netflix for movies/Tv Shows. But I think it's more nuanced than that. It looks like console hardware is still important to them, but it's no longer their number one.

This also saves the companies money in manufacturing and will end scalping and resales.
After they made my copy of the crew a doorstop, If I can’t run it on my system without an internet connection I’ll pass

It's just a watch time for this channel now. Sadly as we stopped putting videos up for a while we're a little way off. But it'll get there (I hope!)

Thanks dude :)
I play ghosts of tsushima on my Legion Go and it plays amazingly! It's an awesome game
I bets epic handheld. Looking forward to seeing it on Ally X when it comes too.
Yea, I just hope they fix their customer service and support the devices better than they have to date.... I definitely don't trust them..
I thought by the video title that Aj was abandoning the Xbox!
hahaha it does look like that actually!!

They tried everything except making good games.
@@TheMa5cmpb Yeah thats true
aj just buy one you know its the way
hahaha even you're trolling me now!!
I think given that 50% of Xbox and playstation gamers are still on last gen hardware I think all Xboxnhas to do is wait until GTA 6 comes out.
Nintendo is the family friendly console. Playstation is the premium console. Xbox is the cheap alternative.
They’re the same price what are yøu on about
Xbox is the better hardware. Sony just has a bigger foothold in the global markets.
