I don't think that Shadow Gambit developer Mimimi closed because of poor sales, as I understood, they just wanted to move on to other things. I bought Shadow Gambit full price btw and didn't regret it...everything Pirate themed I am always down for...except for Skull & Bones...if it were FTP I would take a look at it, but I don't pay full price for a DOA GAAS.
You know who I feel sorry for.. Undead Lab making State of Decay 3 cause the original promise of The Day Before was basically what they were building and it makes me wonder if the reason we haven't seen it recently was because they saw the original promises of The Day Before and went back to the drawing board. Thinking they would have to at least meet the same level of standard that The Day Before was promising to even be able to compete.
One of the easiest ways to spot a lie is if someone tries to answer a random question you never asked and gives way too many specific details no one cared about.
it already was iconic since appeared in forest gump hahaha its just so way out of place for a game developer to say that like if it was something casual
I still can't believe that this was the most wish listed game. I never heard of this thing until an offhand mention in another video like a few days before release.
Yeah I don’t understand it either, I hadn’t heard of the game until I watched this video, and I play games and watch UA-cam quite a lot. The Day Before is just proof that many steam users are pretty young people and people that don’t really pay attention. They just saw a zombie survival shooter and they got excited.
I remember watching a "most anticipated games" video about it and immediately disregarding it because it looked like derivative garbage. Even if everything they promised was in the game, it's still just dayz. And dayz is already a garbage game for obsessive compulsive "gamers", like rust and all those copy paste shit. Not surprised that same public took the bait.
one alternative argument: if I had known of this turds existence, I would wishlist just to keep an eye on how its price is changing, anticipating the eventual rug-pull and delisting
@@bryanribey No obviously didn't go on many gaming websites because they had gameplay videos that made the game look better. I'm starting to think you are a young person since why would you insult them and be condescending because they thought the game was gonna be good from the videos.
The craziest part for me was the Discord. It was a literal NUCLEAR meltdown of their discord. Staff were quiting on the spot, switching teams and calling the game out, till the point they created there own voice channels and text channels to keep 'elections for the best mod' because he switched sides, was so so so funny.
@@generalalduin9548You probably just saw stuff in passing. I had no idea what this game was then I saw some footage from videos like this and was like "oh I think I saw some of this a year ago". So I basically saw a game, didnt feel interested in it I guess, and it never really hit my radar. All these people talk about how obvious red flags are and Im thinking "I didnt see half of these videos or developer statements" If I was interested I wouldve done research (I always wanna make sure something is worth the money first, never been one to buy on impulse) and probably figure it out but as it stands this is a massive news story I had to be told about by a friend first before deciding to look up articles about the disaster
Fntastic invited us to take part in a test task of writing a soundtrack for their game. The task was formulated as poorly as possible and with contradictions, and they gave 2 references, each of which is different from the other and not similar to what was in the task text. As a result, we were not hired, and, of course, the task was not paid for; they chose a person who did not even try to somehow fulfill the points written in the task, but did something completely different: an ordinary trailer track.
So I just saw you guys make this exact same comment on a different video (Matt McMuscles). Copied and pasted. I suppose it's not the biggest deal ever, but I would recommend wording some stuff differently in one of the comments.
Regarding the Continent thing - I think you hit it on the head, because that story is exactly how Slack became a thing. A company called Tiny Speck used something like Slack as a tool when working on a game, and when the game (Giltch) turned out meh, they pivoted to selling the collab tool and became really successful.
You know, at the end of this video it makes me appreciate what No Man's Sky became. It is literally the antithesis of The Day Before in pretty much every way
Exactly Hello Games could've been like the Day Before devs and just took the money and ran. But no, they hunkered down and got to work making the game better, and they're still working
@@captain_awesome2134It proves that passion is what makes good games, see Bethesda for an example of the opposite end of the spectrum. Basically infinite time and money yet a critical lack of passion that shows through on most of their products
The reason there are scammers in the industry is because of the success of games like no mans sky, the only difference is these guys gave up. But both developer team was dishonest.
The weirdest thing to me is that I keep returning to this video just to have it play in the background when doing chores. I don't know why, but this video feels so timeless to me.
I'm just happy that there will always be devs like Larian studios that just have passion for making games. And indie devs like the solo dev of Lethal Company, out selling and out performing COD MW3 on steam. These devs and studios will continue to show that just making a good game will fly further than any good trailer can when it comes down to it.
I think this case was never about the brothers even wanting to make a good game. Just about earning money the fastest possible way. And “making” a “video game” simply being their chosen method to achieve that goal. The fact that they also tried to promote a remote collaboration software in addition to their game seems to indicate that these brothers have an amoral entrepreneurial mindset. Meaning this was probably not their first, nor last scammy business venture.
@@hiimjustin8826 I mean, why not? And to play a bit of devil's advocate, the mess that was Cyberpunks launch was just due to upper management being stupid. The devs thought they were in for a 2023-2024 release date. The updates and Phantom Liberty prove the devs at CDPR haven't lost their touch, they just needed the time to do what they do best.
As a tank nut, something that is ultimately extraneous but still amusing is that at one point in one of the trailers, a Warrior IFV (infantry fighting vehicle) is shown, which is British and has never been used by the US army.
That wall of “We’re sorry” apology letters at 36:23 perfectly summarizes modern gaming and I just wonder how many more of these we’re gonna see before something is done about how this stuff gets released nowadays.
The thing that speaks to me personally is that I was an acquaintance of a guy who worked at Mytona, Sergei Gres. He worked as a narrative designer. He basically told the world about their questionable and dictatorship-like work ethics and was fired, which worsened his depression and led to him taking his own life. He also exposed that this game was underdeveloped and lied about to stakeholders' faces.
@@Azuria969I hope so too, always looked up to him cause of his enormous productivity and striving to succeed. He even had time to mentor wannabe game designers to get their first jobs. His passing was a great shocker to us in his extended circle of friends. Mytona and Fntastic deserve what is coming to them.
I didn't knew The Day Before until I remembered their trailer was shown an event ( I forgot what was it) where people commented, "Wow! So much gameplay. Just a race car in an post apocalyptic-world. Nothing more."
And now all I can imagine is The Internet Historian, wearing nothing but his underwear and a military helmet, slowly waving his hands in front of my face as he regales the era that was The Day Before.
@41rmartin Maybe they'll "accidentally" fall out of a window in Russia but that usually if you're just saying something against the shady shit Putin does like those doctors did with covid. All that education and they didn't know to be safe around open windows....
One thing that is worth mentioning though is that it's almost impossible to calculate a developer's net profits from these sort of public facing numbers when a publisher is involved. It's entirely possible that all profits from The Day Before went toward the publisher's recoup, and I've known of contracts where the developer received only 50% or less of the net in royalties even after recoup (and that's before taxes). Which isn't to defend Fntastic at all, mind you, it's just to point out that if this were some alternate reality where they weren't dragging entire carts of red flags behind them, the claim that they haven't seen any money from TDB isn't at all unbelievable. And while in this case I have no doubt that Fntastic made off with a large sum of money in some form, you unfortunately can't assume that a dev sees 70% of whatever their games make on Steam, unless they've self-published and have no overhead to speak of. Again though, this isn't to absolve Fnatical because likely most of whatever the publisher invested was pocketed anyway, given the state of the game.
Maybe the company hasn't seen any "profit" but the brothers paid themselves 200k salaries + 300k "travel expenses". So yea maybe there was no solid profit, because the leaders pocketed all of it. And there's no way they paid that money back
That final bit about the losses of outstanding games this year hit close to my heart. Shadow Gambit is probably the best game Mimimi has ever made, and they had made some absolute bangers, but it collapsed the studio. I'm very sad to see them go.
Wow. That game has been on my wishlist... I just haven't had time to get around to actually buying/playing it. And a large part of that is simply the number of absolute masterpiece games that have been released this year. Crazy how release timing really matters.
Yea I hadn't actually heard about Mimimi closing until watching this video and it sucks to hear. Their games weren't my speed unfortunately(bought Shadow tactics, couldn't get into it) but I respected them for keeping that genre alive. It's a real shame to hear they went under.
The gaming market is so oversaturated nowadays, especially the indie and small developer scene. They used to be a novelty before, something to check out in between AAA releases. Now it feels like your Steam page is bombarded with them. I have so many games that I have bought but just haven't got around to playing. Even hardcore gamers are feeling fatigued because it feels impossible to keep up with every single new title. So even if a game is an amazing, GOTY contender it's almost impossible to stand out without a AAA marketing team. It'll just get lost in the sea of games on the Steam storefront.
@@themagictoaster2472 And that doesn't even cover this fact: This year has been, I think, the best year of my entire life for new video game releases. The fact that games like Tears of the Kingdom or Baulder's Gate 3 might not win game of the year, because they're competing with each other that year... That is a rare occurrence. And that doesn't even cover the games that I haven't played (yet). I look back over my steam history... And it's insane how good the games this year have been.
This was exactly what I was thinking! Thank you for putting it into words! There's something about the brothers behind all this that makes me think they kiiiind of intended to make a game at one point but then the game making part is hard so they dropped the toy and went to party in Thailand for 2 weeks on company (probably started with their parents' money) expense.
Ive been a fan of Dayz and the devs for years and to see their response to this mess and their for no apparent reason celebration got me clapping my knees and rising my respect for them ten fold, loved to see that shit.

Meh. Small dev teams have produced AAA level games with almost double the time. The problem with gaming is when the studio developers, the financial backers, and owners of the studio all have conflicting interests. There has been 2 or three fntastic developers that have spoken out about how every time something was added to the game that the developing artists did, the owners wanted it changed or removed. It probably would've been a better game had the owners gotten out of the way and allowed a team moderator to do their job and lead the game without restraint. We seen this with irongate and valheim, how they let their team do whatever they want with a team leader to oversee the projects, and they are constantly checking their forums and reddit pages for player opinions to make the game better. 7 days to die has the opposite problem where the fun pimps actively dismiss player concerns like lack of base building varieties because tfp don't want to you be able to play but a few certain ways. When a game fails, it's very rarely the development teams and more of the owners/financial backers picking fights with the dev teams.
@@Elite02koverwatch is the ultimate example. Project titan was supposed to be an mmo, Blizzard didn't think it was profitable enough. They really played the long con. People are going to be less wary of buying an early access game than they are of paying for a Kickstarter that might not produce anything. These guys fully played into the “it’s real, you just have to buy it” to generate a false sense of trust, and I almost admire their willingness to wait three years before sticking their hands out for their payday.

The funniest part of The Day Before is that all of the things that were supposed to be the selling point are done better somewhere else. Hell, get the right mods on a multiplayer server and you can have Project Zomboid do all that and more.

The fact this video is being used as evidence on X to warn people about Fntastics history is awesome. Yes, Fntastic has returned and have surprisingly raised $15,000 on their kickstarter for their new game lol.
I really think there needs to be an even harder look at FNTASTICs financials around this whole shitshow. With the amount of refunds not taken, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if someone dug deep enough to find out that this had been a money laundering scam too. I can also almost guarantee you that the brothers will be back again under a different name and brand.
The whole thing seems linked to organized crime (or that it turned into one after the ultra quality trailers) involving much larger levels of money laundering. The two brothers cannot possibly justify their travel lifestyle from the milestone proceeds from their publisher. Saw plenty of those wannabe tech bros during the crypto craze.

6:09 I AM a game developer, and I can confirm that is BEYOND fishy. Rule ONE of using an engine like Unreal and Unity is that you stick to the EXACT version you start with. Just updating an Unreal project with the latest tiny patch is enough to potentially break everything. Jumping from Unreal 4 to 5 would be a MASSIVE undertaking.
I'm not a game dev, and even *I* knew that! If you start a project in one version of software and then that software gets an update, you finish the project with the software version you started it on, otherwise everything goes to Hell in a handbasket!
I remember seeing the announcement trailer for this and thought "This looks too good to be true I know theres going to be video essays on how this became dogshit, I just know it"
The shame is that their scam was partially successful. Yeah, Steam de-listed it once they realized it was a scam. Yes, you can request a refund. But not all users will request a refund which means some money will go to these scammers and some already has. I wish Steam took the measures to reverse every cent away from these scammers back to the customers. To see the wish-list numbers, purchases, and player count numbers that they saw, receive all the attention that they got with all the red flags being discovered, and STILL pull it off is troubling. The size and scale of this scam made me wonder if this was not some money laundering scheme.
Actually, that's a whole new discussion brought to the table that I think should be brought up. Nostalgia-based, immersive, difficult, overall really fun games, with good gameplay and way better actual graphics than this shitshow of a game somehow couldn't even get within a few THOUSAND players of this game, the game that everybody ALREADY suspected was a scam, and KNEW wouldn't live up to the hype, because of what had been shown. It IS kind of suspicious that some game that had been DEBUNKED to have had fake reveal trailers, and boring ass gameplay to the highest degree, somehow became the most wishlisted game on Steam, and then have the most purchases out of most of the big games of the recent few years. It's very plausible that the whole thing could've just been a money laundering scheme, but that all depends on the refund numbers, really, if over half the people who bought the game originally refunded it, I'd say no, but otherwise it's very possible.
@@WestGarbage6To add to the conspiracy theory, it's really really strange and suspicious that they closed the studio just days after the game flopped. Not even hello games gave up after the no man's sky disaster.
I would absolutely love to see more of these types of videos on this channel. As much as I love the reviews and round ups your story telling ability is amazing and shouldn't be put on the side.
Fun fact: If you pay close attention to all the notices released by the company developing the game you will notice that their choice of words and way phrases are made pretty much feels like it was written by AI instead of actual humans. Even if the founders of the company may not be fluent in english any translator app would not mess that up.
nah man, the slavic-romanic automatic translation is atrocious, trust me, and the languages are structured differently enough that even relatively fluent people constantly use the oddest turns of phrase.
This was always one of my sticking points. When a AAA studio struggles with games promising less in scope, how is this small dev with volunteers going to do it? Even if they got the basics in, I foresaw a mess of bugs and weird interactions with all those systems colliding. It was never going to work no matter what.
The Gaming population was supposed to have learned the lesson once and for all when No Man's Sky released ffs. This is why it is abhorrent what The Game Awards did this year. Devs NEED to be given a voice, because no one knows how videogames, and games development, and the games industry actually works!
Yet conversely you've got Lies Of P which is from a mostly unknown studio that made one of the best Soulsborne style games I've ever played, and it's flown under a lot of people's radars. Which released in a highly playable state with very few technical errors, fewer than Starfield I find.
Ralph. I had an old division video of yours pop up the other day... it reminded me I have been watching you for 7 years. And I still love your content as much as day 1. Thanks dude. Good work.
This teardown is completely brilliant. The delivery of the narration - the incredulity, the stunned shock, the air quotes, the excellent recap of the crazy story changing and covering up after themselves that all true scammers/plagiarists do. Another in a long line of asset flip scam games, but hey, at least this and other videos about it are way more entertaining than the "games" they are based on.
Scamming has become so commonplace in today's world. In my naivety, I used to think that scamming, false advertising and misleading consumers was illegal, but clearly not.
it is illegal, but if a punishment for a crime is not enforced the act itself becomes basically legal. it makes me sad that everyone's laughing and joking about how this game 'failed'. are we forgetting that the two brothers pocketed 3 million bucks and disappeared? they deserve jail time but they apparently got away with everything
Its because most of these things comes from different countries with different laws, something illegal in the US might have a loophole/ not illegal in other countries.... Meaning arresting them is very difficult
@@yoga5631you're correct, but Christ. Scams, false advertisement, and just being generally misleading about products and services is so common nowadays. I think this is something that countries internationally need to look at working on, because it's endemic.
This video really highlights some of the red flags that many other creators missed about this "game". I would love more content like this in the future!
I heard this game was a scam all the way back when they were sharing fakes screen shots. It was painfully obvious it was a scam, it’s amazing so many people still fell for it.
I remember wishlisting this game purely to keep an eye on how far off the promised product it would be on release and gawk, provided that ever would happen (which I was 75% sure it wouldn't, I've played too may early access survival games; I can't not know better). I feel like most people wishlisting it were in the same boat, I refuse to believe most gamers aren't jaded enough to look at this and think "zero shot this is happening"
I still remember when some people said this game couldn't be a scam because "how would they get a publisher involved if the game isn't real"? Turns out a game can still be real in the sense that it exists and is 'playable' (barely) and still be a scam. It used deceptive tactics to try and sell people into something that would never meet the advertised quality, increase visibility for the studio's other projects and get interested 'volunteers' to work for no pay. Also just because the scam is hilariously stupid, doomed to fail and makes no sense to anyone with 3 braincells, doesn't mean it's not a scam.
@@bonko86 too many.... so many 'argument's' in streams trying to explain to people why the game was getting hate... and they just could not grasp what so many were telling them. too many people thinking that every one is brain dead and just hopping on the 'hate train'...
I think the lesson I've learnt in all of this is that you can get incredibly far these days with store assets. When I still used to try to make games (15 years ago) you spent all your time on gameplay and your graphics was a bunch of squares (side note: this is why Thomas Was Alone looks like it does: Bithell was building the game with dev art and realised there was a cool story to be had in leaving it in that style). Now though, that relationship has completely flipped: there is so much high quality assets out there you can get something that to the eye looks like a professional game, without a shred of game design required.
I literally never heard of this game until this past week and I am genuinely mind boggled at how deep this goes, like this has been good ng on forever and I never knew lmao

@@TheSergio1021 I don't think so. I think reviews are helpful in order for consumers to make informed decisions. Essays are a lot more free form, and while they often have something to say, the message is rarely, "buy (or don't buy) this product".

As someone in the legal profession, I can shed a bit of light on the trademark issue. While every jurisdiction is different, in the United States, generally speaking, one can send a cease and desist for any reason. It's not a legally binding document and merely serves as a notification that one party believes they have cause to sue another party. It is not uncommon for companies to send cease and desist letters, without any actual intention of pursuing litigation, as the mere threat is sometimes sufficient to get what they want. It's not clear to me in which jurisdiction the lawsuit of the calendar app took place, but I can say with some certainty that it would likely have played out that way in most U.S. jurisdictions as well. There are various different tests that different courts apply to trademark disputes, but a core element of all of them is the likelihood of confusion between two products. If they are substantially different products, the chance of confusion is low, and it is unlikely for a court to find trademark infringement is occurring.
Gamedev here. When we launch a title, there's a proportional element of reacting to player feedback. It might be what we are already expecting and have built our roadmaps to accommodate, it might be a course correction, or it could be a complete U-Turn. There's quite a bit of nail biting and fretting over player feedback when we press that big green GO button, because we're often too entrenched to really know how this thing we've poured years of time and effort into will be received. Could be great. Could result in layoffs. It's cutthroat. There's a lot of 'average joes', or games that just didn't find their audience out there, and I always encourage people to return to those titles, measure it fairly or just give it a chance, and question whether those negative first impressions you had were a kneejerk reaction. This is not one of those times. This is not one of those games. This is an absolute bastardization of an industry I love and pour so much effort into, and I am genuinely sorry to any developer that was swept up in the promises made by these greedy brothers.
The industry itself is garbage. You don't need to publish and sell a game if what you want is to make a piece of art. What you're confusing is making money. You're just thinking of the comfort of game developing as a business being endangered by bad businessmen. People will continue to make games they want to make regardless of the state of the industry and how much money they can make. They're not looking for a public to milk. Making a game is art first, if that's not the priority you're already making games for the wrong reason.
@@d.h.foster8937 Need=\= want. The perceived need of money is just sugar coated way for compromising art by forcing it into a career. Nobody forced you to owe money you don't truly need. Don't make the act of money making an honorary thing, it's just a fact of life.
@lasarousi I couldn't agree more, but the art cannot happen if there is no reasonable cause for monetary investment, that's unfortunately the reality of consumerism. :(
Wouldn't be surprised if a bigger company such as Rockstar actually makes a successful game on what this scam game could've given players and it turns out to be a real deal

So this game will eternally be remembered to me as "That Scam Game that made Dominator very sad"

Funnily enough, he was also a massive liar, going on about facts he pulled right out of his ass. Perhaps these developers have more in common with James Somerton than we think.
I ultimately resisted the pull, but I wonder how many other people bought it to simply be a part of the moment and experience how spectacularly bad it was gonna be. I thankfully had no idea it had actually released, or I may have too. It's a shame when, like you said, legitimately good games sell so poorly that small or even large studios close while a game like this can sell numbers as the purchase equivalent of shitposting or off those who somehow still got scammed after all the red flags.
The only reason that would be insane is because they would have started a few years before AI got to where it is now. If they had started now, I wouldn't be surprised one bit in the slightest
The Day Before really made me realize that we as gamers really deserve for game companies to take advantage of us because how could there be so many people that thought to give that game a try after seeing everything that was being presented.
Nah it is merely a point of perspective. You as a person watching this video is already more engaged in video games than probably 95% of the total demographic that is actively playing video games. Yes this does of course include mobile accounts etc., but it would be silly to assume that mobile players could never grow in their interest and swap to a more core platofrm and video games. Therefore you can compare this to, really any other product which runs on quality and not quantity (...usually), like computers, audio equipment, cars, smart phones etc... For some people this game might have been the only one they got algorithmed by and were like "wow, this looks awesome!" without having any idea that of course games are just "another" industry in the current day and age and might just feel too innocent about it because they got really sucked into gaming as a hobby more and more. Maybe you see where I am coming from? As a localization specialist myself, it absolutely does feel like the devs don't treat us as proper contributors to the product. More often than not, you won't even see us listed in the credits. They may feature a couple managers from the middleman language services provider company but rarely anyone who had to do the actual work translating and editing the texts.
This whole story is just unbelievable. I hope they get sued from every angle possible and face the legal consequences. There's just no way they can get away with this.
Another A+ video essay Ralph. Knowing that the two guys scrubbed their social medias is crazy. They are like cartoon level thieves trying to run a scam. The internet has a long memory so just deleting everything was dumb as hell.
Usually though, most people actually listen to criticism, an internal sense of analysis, and after a number of big failures move on to something else. These guys rejected all sense of criticism as fake, their was zero introspection, and the consistently pumped out bad product after bad product in such a way that you could Tell they didn't give a fuck about destroying lives in order to line their pockets. Hmm, kind of like their leader, so monkey see monkey do. I stand by the fact that most people don't want to wilfully destroy others lives, and to the extent that people do, either they don't want to accept the risk of blow back, or don't have the skills to pull it off. The brothers had just the right amount of narcissism to blow smoke up enough asses, enough sociopathy to keep running a scam they knew would harm others, the lack of intelligence to know how it could all come back to bite them and the stones to keep up a front, and the skills necessary to keep it afloat until they got their payday.
I remember hearing about this game, people saying "looks like another game where they over-promise in the trailers", "let's wait and see...", and thinking that I'll come see the results in 2-3 years when the game is released. Even after watching this I had thought I was watching a video on events that had happened years ago. Imagine my surprise when I find out the game was released 3 weeks ago! I'm such a different person compared to who I was 5 years ago that it's blowing my mind how that innocuous trailer I passed by long time ago only released its game.
Except they're not really examining the completionist as they should. This game was an obvious scam months ago and everyone is getting refunded, Jirard scammed a charity which I feel is a much worse dick move and he just gets to quietly slink away on his own terms with barely a peep.
@@ioritenshi they’ve already addressed it twice. Once on the podcast about him temporarily stepping away from the podcast and one on Twitter about him stepping away permanently.

This will inspire the oposite since people have shown to willingly pay for products without caring about the obvious red flags. If anything, more scams like The Day Before will arise in the future.

These devs and studios will continue to show that just making a good game will fly further than any good trailer can when it comes down to it.
I think this case was never about the brothers even wanting to make a good game. Just about earning money the fastest possible way. And “making” a “video game” simply being their chosen method to achieve that goal.

The Day Before made me realize that people work extremely hard to develop great games

I AM a game developer, and I can confirm that is BEYOND fishy.

I agree!
If a game promises to be everything….
It’s a scam, there’s a reason why it hasn’t been done before.
Especially from a small unknown studio.
Starfield be like
Yet conversely you've got Lies Of P which is from a mostly unknown studio that made one of the best Soulsborne style games I've ever played, and it's flown under a lot of people's radars. Which released in a highly playable state with very few technical errors, fewer than Starfield I find.
To be fair, Marvel's spiderman held that promise. Not all games are scams. This one on the other hand is a massive shit show 😂

I still remember when some people said this game couldn't be a scam because "how would they get a publisher involved if the game isn't real"? Turns out a game can still be real in the sense that it exists and is 'playable' (barely) and still be a scam. It used deceptive tactics to try and sell people into something that would never meet the advertised quality, increase visibility for the studio's other projects and get interested 'volunteers' to work for no pay.
Also just because the scam is hilariously stupid, doomed to fail and makes no sense to anyone with 3 braincells, doesn't mean it's not a scam.

Now though, that relationship has completely flipped: there is so much high quality assets out there you can get something that to the eye looks like a professional game, without a shred of game design required.

sometimes people just like shit or feel that things don't deserve all the negative reactions they get for whatever reason, man
As someone in the legal profession, I can shed a bit of light on the trademark issue.
37:56 "This manager told them there had never been any fantastic staff there"
