I have a similar one but the starter doesn't kick the engine on. It spins but the engine doesn't turn.
Can you make a video showing where all the wires go to in the engine harness. I bought the same go kart but the harness is all cut up and I’m having trouble re-routing the wires.
I'll see what I can do, it's a friend's of mines go kart and we've both got busy schedules, but I'll see what I can do!

I wish that there was a way to email directly to the people that are responding on here. I have the service manual for this go-kart. That includes wiring diagram wiring positioning vacuum Etc. Its about 84 pages long can be downloaded as a PDF.
I also own one of these carbide 7150. The one that's in this video is actually a fox but they're identical to the quantum Hammerhead at Maaco and helix. Mine has a brand new top-end rebuild on it and the best thing that you can do coming from a mechanic's point of view is eliminate that stupid breather box and put a rubber hose coming off of your carburetor with a barrel filter on it.

@@sv8313 i already have... and honestly you are much better off just getting a whole new harness. I wouldn"t try to jimmie jam wires, thats a good way to start a fire! we dont want that!
I'm interested in buying a used American Sportworks Carbide 7150 150cc, but the battery is dead.
What Battery Size does it use?
Can you recommend a source for parts besides ebay? Lately part options getting kinda thin there..
Also, would be getting a Carburetor . Can you recommend a good stock one and source?

I found out American Sportworks changed their name to American LandMaster however no longer sell Go Karts. I contacted them more more info. Haven't heard back yet.

Mainly just mess with it, its got to have fuel, spark, and air to run, depending on what the issue is!
