Got mine for free. It sat for many years but with for $400 I got wires and tires and got it running within a short time. Absolutely love it....people just don't realize how low cost parts are for these. ...and how simple they are to work on.
I'm having the same issues with my sons Kandi Batman GY6 200cc. Thanks for uploading this. I will start with the filter then go from there. I think I will switch from premium fuel to the ethanol free gas too to prevent any future fuel issues.
Hey harvey thanks for the helpful videos! I watched your video on the d/c 4 pin ignition and I was able to get my hammerhead 250 running again. It was in rough shape when I got it. I’ve put a new clutch on it new brake calipers and pads, new parking brake cable, now the vehicle is running great. I can’t get the brakes to bleed so I’m going to order a new master cylinder then try again. I also need to get the transmission to shift from hi to low and reverse. I’m hoping it’s a shift mechanism shaft easy fix. Keep up the good videos.
Mine was super lean and I had just cleaned out the carburetor which was disgusting because it had been sitting for a long time but it turned out to be a huge crack in the intake manifold. I had been running it as it was for months until I just ordered the $6 part and put it in a couple days ago. That was the best $6 I have spent on the go kart. It runs stronger than I ever thought a gy6 could and it finally idles.
I just bought mine it was running straight from engine block I need to have it welded someone destroyed the threads does running straight from engine block for exhaust will that cause the bogging
I have a question I recently acquired a Kandi 250cc go kart. It has spark and compression. I recently put a new carb. on it and it is so close to turning over but is still trying to crank over. It has two valve adjustment screws on top is there specs on where those screws need to be?
I know this is an old video and the car you have it's just like the one that I got yesterday but my has a radiator to it I didn't see one on yours but would you have a wiring diagram for the engine ignition?
Do you know if it’s possible to get a new carburetor for a Maxxum 150 with a Subaru engine? We bought it new but the carb crapped out. It’s 20 years old. Garage kept. Like yours there. :)
I just got a brand new 2021gts and theres a pretty loud rattling noise. I called the dealer let him listen over the phone he said it’s normal. Do these things normally have a loud obnoxious rattling or is my dealer full of it.
I cant get my 125cc to start. Any suggestions already replaced the solenoid relay. It was running an it stopped an couldnt get it to start up again it just cranks.
I've got to 150cc buggy I was just curious should my buggy run without the breather box on it cuz without the breather box on it it just starts and dies
Right, alcohol gas: Cruddy solids separate as the alcohol evaporates. I use that can of stuff you get at the auto parts store. Acts as a lube for the fuel system.

Hey Roadkill, Ur intake valve maybe too tight, loosen it up a bit, that is where I would start.... Then, I would clean the carb.... Ur machine is probably solid, U should be happy with it when Ur done fixing it up.... Thanks for the asking, the info, watching, and commenting!!!
@@HarveySpooner thanks again, intake and exhaust values were too tight loosened them up a bit, cleaned carb and she runs, smokes a good bit but holds idle now ✌✌✌
I've Got About 4 Of These None Run. One Did Last Year. Going To Try To Get At Least One Runing By Summer. Not 100% What I'm Doing I've Only Rebuilt Dirt Bikes And Golf Carts
Bought a new 150 for my wife's cart was running great when all of a sudden it started popping and losing power to the point of stalling out starts right up idles fine no problem until you give it gas any ideas would be appreciated

Sounds like the carb needs cleaned or theres water/contaminants in the fuel
I have one of those but when you start it after it sitting for a bit in the cold you have to let the engine warm up for a few minutes

Restricted Main Jet...Alcohol will jelly up...Cool buggy.

I noticed you start in gear? does this work as my hammerhead gets 150 has trouble shifting because of dodgy idle??

You need at least a cone air filter just think all that dust is going into the carb

Clean the carb, check the air filter and the jetting

I've done all that it still bogs out of gas .it's that chinese junk
@@davejanovec1170 anything will fall apart if you don’t take care of it. Try buying better quality parts and service parts.
I just keep a can of starting fluid in my buggy for cold starts
