My friend, you should seriously consider doing a tutorial channel more teachers like you are needed; Instead of babbling on and on about nonsense and trying to show off your knowledge you give a quick useful intro, go straight to the point and explain step by step and at the same time are thorough..congrats! I needed this for an overdue job and I was afraid of having to watch a 45 minutes tut for something simple but this was just excellent.keep up the great work
Freakin awesome! I've been searching for a tutorial like this for days and it was like you made this one specifically for me. Short and to the point without taking 2 hours of my time. Keep up the good work. You definitely earned a new subscriber with this masterpiece.
This is incredible helpful, thank you very much!! I was looking for these answers, nice time-lapse too :) Please do that tut for the specular, normal and bumb map!!
For sure, this was just an intro overview tutorial of the concepts, and specifically for Element users as well. Also practice for me doing longer length tutorials :)
Hey Dustin... I Have UV Maps For Jet Strike, But They Are not Lining Up Correctly... Any Suggestions?... They Were Lining Up Good Some Weeks Ago... Don't Know What Went Wrong...
Were you modifying the maps and reloading them back in? Maybe one of those got offset? Or the straight model presets aren't lining up either? Could you send an email to support@videocopilot.net, and we can take a look there. If you could please send some screen shots of the issue, or a project file, that would definitely help to see the issue.
The OBJ Looks Great In 3DS Max, But In Elements, The Maps Are Not Lining Up, Some Weeks Ago, They Were, But I Don't Know What Went Wrong... I Will Email You Some Pictures...
Also would have been more useful to say what you are clicking rather than "this button". Especially when you can't stop moving the captured screen area. Easier to see if you have PIP of the active area but keep the area set.

Why cube? Who is going to benefit from texturing a primitive? A shape with a little more complexity would have been far more helpful.
Thanks for the feedback Mr. Woz.
