Just ordered your stock noiseless P90. Can't wait to try em. I would really like to see a video showing the tonal difference between the stock and the +5% bridge pickups with gain :)
You may have saved my life. I've got a '56 ES-225TD in need of a resto. The standard p'ups are noisy and microphonic as all get out. I love driving it through a cranked Plexi myself but the pickups are so bad you can SING through them. Great sound, lovely guitar, now I know what I need. Thanks, Lindy!
Lindy .. I would like a review with this same pickup on the same guitar but playing jazz. I know you have one already but that one is with Alnico Rods and I’m between these two pickups. I need a review to compared the two. Thanks man
Hi billy I've got a Peavy Rockingham too. When you ordered your Fralin P90s which ones did you order the hum-cancelling Cream Soapbars or another type and where it says Neck and Bridge Output do I just select 'Stock' for both?
Really nice honest video! The guitar sounds great. For those of us who use heavier strings (I use 12's on my electrics) these pickups would be perfect.
Hi Lindy! Are these identical to Gibson P-100's? I have a 70's Les Paul Special that could use hum canceling P-90's but I don't want to lose the bite of a single P-90 and the P-100's are said to be not so good. What do you suggest for a Special? Thx
Love the sound in the two humbucking p90 videos I've watched. One thing though: is the hum I'm hearing in both videos because you're sitting right next to your amp?
Would the P-90 drop into the Gretsch 5120 or is it more work than its worth? because if thats the case im gonna be forced to buy from tv jones, which isn't bad.
oh god will someone please tell me what song that is at the very end. the scotty moore one! i hear all these guitarist play it and i know it but i can't get what its called out of my brain cheese
hi , Lindy ! Will the hum-cancelling P-90 be a bit thicker than the stock P-90 on my gibson les paul junior ? such that i cannot put yr P-90 in my junior coz its thicker ?
Do you know if you could flip the magnets on one these and put them out of phase without bringing back that 60 cycle hum? I recently flipped the magnets on my Les Paul to get that Peter Green sound in the middle position. Turns out I really like it and was wanting to buy your pickups but I don't want to put them out of phase and then have 60 cycle hum again.
***** OK thanks. I'll probably just flip the magnets on the neck pickup. Also since I'm swapping stock Gibson p90s with your set, would you recommend 5% over or 5% under? I love the stock p90 sound. I just want to eliminate the 60 hum without much of a tone change.
Dear Lindy, I have an Epiphone Riviera P-93, so I'll order a set of the Short HCP-90s. Much like yourself, I like clear and bright pickups (more towards a strat sound, but not so much), so I think I'll need them underwound... What percentage do you recommend on Neck and Bridge? Also, I don't really use the middle pickup, but if I did order a 3PU set, what would be the recommended percentages? Thank you in advance!
Hi Lindy I've been told that a single Lindy Fralin P90 is great for the original 1950's Rockabilly sound but I can't decide what hollow body guitar to use as the donor. Can you recommend any guitars that not only have the look of the 50's but one's that would take a P90 bearing in mind I can't afford Gibson or Guild. Just want a nice looking but cheap donor.
Hi Lindy, is this the set with the Alnico-6 pups?? Id like to order a set for my ES-330. My stock Gibson p-90s are crazy noisy in almost any position. I play jump blues, rockabilly, swing stuff, no od pedals just either reverb or delay thru 6v6 tube amps. Think these would be better than the Alnico-5 set for my style.
These are 10 and 20 % under-wound set with A6s, this guitar is set up with 12-52s. My other ES225 is set up with 11s and I has the normal set in it. The magnet in the normal set is actually boned neo, Stronger than A6
***** Thank you! I've watched this video many times and keep coming to the same conclusion... I want my 62 Epiphone to sound just like this. "Bright and clear" are exactly what I like as well. Will contact you directly to find out how to proceed with pickup selection etc. Thanks, also, for your sincerity and quality work, Lindy!
Hi Lindy! How would you compare the 42 gauge version to the -5% 43 gauge set? Specially in the neck position? I have an Gibson SG Special and the neck usually is muddy and too thick for me with any pickup I try. Thanks!
Lindy, how well does your Bigsby hold tuning? I'm about to do a resto on a very well loved '225 and am considering going with a Bigsby and the aluminium bridge. I even have a pair of your hum-cancelling p90s to go in it. Any help?
I've replaced the dog ear Roswell to a Lindy Fralin dog eared p-90. Maybe it's a wise move to call it a day on mods. Harley Benton DC Junior rip off. No electronic tuning, can't play the thing through an amp because of noise complaints. Oh, yeah, Covid 19, get your priorities right Eric.
Ummm, lol. Maybe there's no hum , but I hear ALOT of buzzing...there's obviously some kind of noise gate that kicks in during playing, but ....sitting there while he talks...there is obvious p90 buzzing, like an ungrounded guitar....
Lindy seems like a genuine person & craftsman.
If Lindy was born a woman, his name would be Linda
The sweetest pups I've ever hear were wound by this guy!
I love the sweet tone in that guitar!!!!!!!!
It’s a fantastic pickup. I have the P90 noiseless humbucker version. It’s so amazing especially for jazz
5hat is a beauty!!
great sound...and great T-shirt!!!!!
Thanks!
Just ordered your stock noiseless P90. Can't wait to try em. I would really like to see a video showing the tonal difference between the stock and the +5% bridge pickups with gain :)
Awesome sounding pickups and NICE Nick Curran T-shirt!!

now that's some sweet tones
Great stuff, Lindy
Next to my ES-330, this would be my dream guitar. Esp w/ your noiseless P-90's. Beautiful guitar Lindy. >)
Lindy .. I would like a review with this same pickup on the same guitar but playing jazz. I know you have one already but that one is with Alnico Rods and I’m between these two pickups. I need a review to compared the two. Thanks man
Will these pickups help in reducing feedback at all? I have an epiphone casino that I am looking for ways to reduce feedback on.
Thank you!
Very very nice indeed....drool.
Sound great
i've a pair of Lindy Fralin P90 on my Peavey rockingham. Great pickups

Hey Lindy! Do your hum cancelling P-90s fit a PRS SE 245 Soapbar? Sorry if this was a dumb question, I'm new to the world of P-90 pickups.
That’s quite a lot of hum between takes for hum cancelling pickups. Great tone though!
Really nice honest video! The guitar sounds great. For those of us who use heavier strings (I use 12's on my electrics) these pickups would be perfect.
Hey, Lindy... You should definitely offer the 42-gauge neck model - that's a great sound.
Stephen White
Super cool! But did he play anything in middle position?
Hi Lindy do they (Hum-Cancelling P-90's) fit well on Epiphone Casino Coupe? Greetings from Argentina and thank you :)

really cool. i think an wood saddle would improve the babys even better
Would like to put them in a Gretsch 5129 (thinner Electromatic, would replace De Armonds) - possible? Thanks.
Would the P-90 drop into the Gretsch 5120 or is it more work than its worth? because if thats the case im gonna be forced to buy from tv jones, which isn't bad.
What if you don't want the grit? to play jazz in a hollow body?
We can underwind them 2% or 5%. We can also use a softer sounding magnet; C8.
oh god will someone please tell me what song that is at the very end. the scotty moore one! i hear all these guitarist play it and i know it but i can't get what its called out of my brain cheese
Blue moon?
hi , Lindy ! Will the hum-cancelling P-90 be a bit thicker than the stock P-90 on my gibson les paul junior ? such that i cannot put yr P-90 in my junior coz its thicker ?
Hi Lindy..Thanks for the reply. Would you also prefer the 'Stock' wind if the guitar is a longer scale length 25 1/2" strat style ?

Epiphone Casino or 295
Really nice breakup at low levels. I'd love to hear them with a little more gain.
Hi Lindy, is this the set with the Alnico-6 pups??

Hi Lindy! I'm told that the ES225 has an internal wooden block under the bridge. Is that true for yours?

Why didnt Gibson just come out with noiseless p90 in the beginning?Must be a reason
They did, the humbucker. They thought it was an improvement, but it is a very different pickup.

Call me when you can. We can do any number of turn you may want.
Hi Lindy, any idea what kind of P90 pickup to use to get an early Jim Hall or Martijn van Iterson-ish sound?
Please call and I will discuss this with you. Lindy 804-358-2699
would the p-90 pickups play on a epiphone casino
Yes. But you'd already figure
Lindy, how well does your Bigsby hold tuning? I'm about to do a resto on a very well loved '225 and am considering going with a Bigsby and the aluminium bridge. I even have a pair of your hum-cancelling p90s to go in it. Any help?
It does well, you need a perfect nut and setup. I also put powdered graphite in the nut slots.
Thanks for the tip. Apparently the aluminium bridge is a rocker bridge. Does it actually rock back and forth during trem use?
It does a little, I don't bend much.
