cool thank you
Do you salivate to every of your guests? ;)
Oxalates are the plants defence to protect itself from being eaten. Have you read the book, Toxic Superfoods by Sally K Norton, its a real eye opener as to why most of us are sick but dont know it.
I would listen to a man of God for sure
Thank you for talking about living 100+ years. This makes me proud of my Ethiopian side. Most of my friends who are also African tell me they have relatives who passed away at 100, 105, 115, etc. One of my great grandmothers passed away at 100, and was driving until 92 with ease. Dying in your 50’s, 60’s and 70’s isn’t normal.
Totally agree!
Normal is not optimal, peer pressure and exploitive marketing holds us back.
LMAO you guys know this guys on steroids right?
Not sure. Living as an old person doesn't seems to be fun. I say life is done when your youth is gone. I wouldn't like to live to get baggy skin and muscles, wrinkles and all together where you can't recognize yourself in mirror.
@@Iron.Aesthetic But you know there is plenty of people out there who are on this type of diet and not on steroids. They are not even working out and say this changed the way they feel, and their life improved a lot.
The best source of information regarding carnivore on the internet and I have watched most of it. Thank you Dr. Chaffee. I am 89 and heading for 120.
I’m 68 and was starting to feel old & found out I’ve got coronary artery plaque. 1 year on keto (switching to carnivore) and I feel great!
And when you reach 120, you will say; 'I did not know that I could ask for more"
@@krisjost988 I just read a comment on another video where a woman claimed carnivore cleaned out the plaque and stenosis in her arteries!
Did Dr mention his lipid profile and arterial blockage, as his sat fat is tremendous on pure carnivore for yrs. It is insane.

Perfect diet for me...down 40lbs...IBS gone, skin clear, blood pressure no longer high 120/81 and doing this diet as a truck driver. Wish i had found this yrs ago.
Awesome!
I'm 70 yr old been doing keto five years now. Just had a physical last week and everything was perfect! I live in Colorado and hike every day.

Most on keto have insulin resistance. Check on a c peptide test.

God bless you. Thank you for the input. Im 44 and have been mostly 98% meat diet and I'm normal. Feel 👍🏼 great
I find it interesting that he said we're supposed to live 120 years. I know someone else who said that...And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” Genesis 6:3
What happened to “three score years and ten” ??????

I will be losing 150 lbs and rid myself of those ailments within the next year! Mark my words. I’ll be back to add to this post to prove it. Thank you Lillie and Dr Chaffee!!! 🤘😎👍
You won’t regret it, I started about 4 1/2 months ago and I’ve fixed so many issues I’ve suffered with for yearsToo many to mention.

This guy just dunked on the entire bodybuilding community and I love it!
Hahaha! Hope you have a rockin day!😊
Old school (bronze and silver era) bodybuilding and the stuff going on today have very little in common. Old school bodybuilders were strong, healthy, and most of them lived to pretty respectable ages (or are still around).
I'm 64 been body building since 30 so 34 years, as I aged my muscles we big but no gains really after 50, last year went Keto, then now mostly Carnavore, it's crazy my muscle gains are better now than any time, and gut fat is wearing off ,:less aches and pain's

Dr Chaffee started me on this type of diet, literally. I met him during my medical appointment in Perth Australia. After the appointment I started eating meat only, for a week. However I was sceptical, but when my IBS gone away in that week I started believing in it. Since than I lost 11kg , my blood pressure gone down to normal and feel excellent.

Dr Chaffee is the man,he's a wealth of knowledge and convinced me to go full carnivore and I feel great.
I'm living proof that he is correct. When I was young I followed all the mainstream nutritional advice. Low fat. High complex carbs. Traing constantly. At 43 had a heart attack while riding a triathlon. After tons of research for 20 years I found that sugar was my lynch pin. My lipids were always very low but my a1c was a little high. Once I recognized that sugar was an issueI avoided carbs and never had another issue. I'm in the cardiology field and only a small percentage of heart patients have high lipids. However they all have elevated A1c.

Loved this video. Timing perfect. Thanks for asking basic but totally important questions.
Excellent discussion with Dr Chaffee Lillie! Thanks for creating this. Very helpful and informative..
Outstanding interview!
I am 62 and 9 days carnivore. I got shot in my left sholder when young the pain over the past 15 years has been insane.
I have been perscribed so many pain pills and got to a point i could not turn my head left. Without pain. Would hold my arm above my head for hours to get relief. I am in shock how quickly the pain left my body. In just 9 days.
But before trying this all meat diet. I honestly thought it was kinda crazy.
I am alert fog is gone. I can turn my head my arm no longer hurts. My energy level is great.. it is worth an honest try.. good luck if you do.
I’m 63 thinking about doing this. I have so many aches and pains. From what I gather you basically get your energy from fat NOT carbs. So it’s very important to eat enough fat. I’m still outweighing pro vs con. Also what about peanuts they ok to eat on carnivore diet?
@@ronbo30nope, not at all, they ser full of toxins
I am still doing it..
The removal of so much sugar has me now at a point I just cannot drink or eat any real sweet things.. but mobility and energy not mention better sleep.. I really love the energy part.. I don't ever get sleepy after eating. And another odd side effect.. I eat alot of steak and hamburger.. never feel over full or energy dragging me down.... the wake up with energy is another cool part..
But..... I still sometimes get cravings to be honest. But the energy and movement is worth me turning those things away. So far...
Also try to use Redlight therapy on the shoulder, it will help you 100%, this mixed with Carnivore 👍🏼

Even artificial sweeteners and dairy/heavy/double cream makes me feel like garbage
Loved this interview! I am subscribed to both of you and this was just fantastic.. not too long or awkward 😊I am 7 months carnivore (from heavy chicken/vegetable diet). It was a bit hard to start the red meat- glad I did. The weight is FINALLY coming off! Nothing else really worked.
This is probably the best carnivore video I have watched! Answered almost every question one could have and so much great information! Bravo!
This interview was phenomenal! This is my first time watching Lillie’s channel and this is by far is one of my favorite interviews with dr. Chaffee❤
I'm very new to eating carnivore and your video is among my quest to be better informed about what it is I've gotten myself into. Dr. Chaffee shared a wealth of solid insight here and I feel better about continuing carnivore, and even striving a bit more toward that 'pure pure pure' way of doing it. Thank you for sharing this interview!
hey great information, I'm a NZ organic beef farmer, grass only and home kill many beef every year. the yellow fat is far more to do with the breed of cow, the most yellow is a Jersey cow and some other breeds will have all white fat even on a 100 percent grass diet.
Does the color also come from the herbs? Milk is clearly impacted in both color and taste

My family members lived long healthy lives my grandpa worked until 84. They did not need to be taken care of and they basically ate a bit of everything. The biggest thing is they mostly were used to not eating after 6, no snacking and no fast foods. I like to base my eating on my blood work. I will continue to watch these informative videos and continue to learn and adjust. Learning from different points of view based on science is the way to go. Again, we are all very different. Good video and info.
Dr. Chaffee is awesome. Great video. Thank you so much for your videos and all the time you all put in to help everyone regain health
This is the first of your videos that I have seen. I found you through Chaffee. Great info. I get little tidbits of knowledge from every one of his vids. Great questions and good flow. I appreciate the fact that you get 95% improvement from eliminating the last 5% of "dirty" foods.
I want to thank both Lillie and Dr. Chaffee for this amazing video. Being new to carnivore and being very sick with five diagnosed autoimmune issues (and probably more undiagnosed), I've been looking at many videos in search of the answers to questions. This video answered a few of those questions and boosted my confidence that this is the way I need to go. I've been MISERABLE for years.
How is it going?
Same here. Still researching.
I love the simplicity...I am day 5 carnivore not being ruled by hunger. And feeling great already! I had been doing Keto, and feeling hunger a lot and not losing much weight.
I am a registered dietitian and a registered nutritionist, so trust me when I say, this diet will kill you eventually. Everybody doing this diet has great results.....in their mind. The truth is this carnivore diet is the cholesterol diet; your body is going to be overwhelmed and inundated with cholesterol and arterial plaque.
Good luck

The wonders of botox and growth hormone.
I really hope your little passive aggressive quips are able to carry you through the metabolic nightmare that is coming to you if you refuse to listen to the truth being presented here. I have a (supposedly) incurable, genetic connective tissue disorder which had me nearly bedbound at one point. Almost two years later, the more carnivore I go, the less my pain and better my nutrient absorption. Fat, weak, diabetic people (including doctors) who keep watching me improve while trying to tell me that my diet is “dangerous” are tragically hilarious.
Come on, person, I'm 55 years old and I've been vegan for 14 years and vegetarian 20 years or so before that. Thankfully I'm in excellent health. I have friends who've been vegan 30 or 40 years. I know one guy, Mike Fremont (look him up) who's been vegan since he was in his early 60's -- he's 101 and still runs. That's all anecdotal, I know. But I think by if the "metabolic nightmare" was looming, it would have struck us by now. The peer reviewed epidemiology, RCT's, mendelian and twin studies all show that most animal products are atherogenic. Your lifestyle increases all cause mortality risk by a significant margin, period, full stop. Of course it's accurate to characterize it as dangerous -- and is a menace to the animals and the environment. So deny it all you want. It gives me no pleasure to say, it's probably going to get you too -- and it has definitely cut short the life of someone you care about. Hopefully you'll wise up one day and choose a whole food, plant based diet, eating lots of different fruits and vegetables, especially greens, and while minimizing salt, oil and sugar -- before it's too late. Happy New Year. @@t1mpani

Oh snap! Reducing the coffee intake, you’ll have to let me know how it goes!😁 Good luck, hope you have an energized weekend!
To really get a pump on pure carnivore without adding carbs, you need to train in pyramids bc it’s seemingly impossible to fully exhaust the muscles for long. I have to superset 3 compound movements across upper & lower body with no rest in between for sets of 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 and then back down. That’s every day. I finish with a short set of intense sprints for what feels like a full body pump. Still, it’s not the same as with carbs. It’s just an ego thing. Why do we want to be so “big”? After 5 years of this, I learned to embrace the long lean aesthetic. It’s a long arc of becoming healthy to then getting stronger. There’s no race when you realize you’re just a machine that realizes fully upcycled perfect nutrition. You’re the end destination for all that energy converted through the food chain. What a privilege. Be at peace with where you’re at in the process rather than where you’d prefer to be. Carbs puff you up in the head, too.
Great video. His perspectives don’t take that long to develop once you just let go and let the meat do its job.

thanks for the amazing interview. now i know why I have stalled on my weight loss. I love cheeses way too much and I drink way to much coffee. my goal is to cut both of those from my diet for good!!
Thank you!...This is so fascinating and packed with information ❤
I love how much Dr. Chaffee tells! He is awesome!❤
This guy has convinced me, I'm going to give it a go to see how it makes me feel because I feel like crap. Thank you very much.
How's it going?
@@itzakpoelzig330 starting to feel better digestion is great now

Progress
any progress
Was doing well with my eating habits then got in one big fight with my spouse, one stress filled weekend with stress eating, and the superbowl, now I'm all out of whack and I'm glad I stumbled upon this and can build up the motivation to get back on track. Thanks.
You think you're comforting yourself with food but, all it really does is make it harder to deal with the actual stressors in your life.
I'm back with it and I can tell a big difference when I've been hurting myself and when I've been putting the right things in. I can feel the inflammation in my right knee and I just feel so sore all over. It's more difficult some days more than others to practice self restraint and have the willpower not to take in the wrong things. In 2020 I successfully did Keto for 9 months and lost 60 lbs until going on vacation and crashing on my routine. I gained 40 lbs back, but now I'm slowly getting back to where I was at. I have even quit smoking this time around, I'm going on 3 months nicotine free when March gets here. Last week I quit coffee, I'm just trying for a healthier life. But if I slip up, I'm not being hard on myself or stressing myself out about it, I just have to remember why I started in the first place and keep going.
@@tyroark It would be difficult, if not impossible to give up more than one addiction at a time since the habits at least will have to be replaced. I would suggest giving up smoking first, before focusing too much on anything else.
@@donnathedead7554 impossible? Sounds like a challenge. I enjoy a good challenge. 😁 I forgot to also say I quit biting my nails, a lifetime habit I've always had. Quitting habits is just a matter one day at a time.
Do it, Ty! Don’t let the setbacks be a downfall. Use them to motivate you more because we all see the negative results when we fall. Brother, it’s about getting back on that horse and holding on for dear life because LIFE is what’s at stake here! You can do this! Fight on, dude!
This is one of the best interviews I've ever listened to. His credentials (academic/professional/physical) are incredible and he makes so much sense. Thanks for such an amazing video!
Wonderful! Im glad you enjoyed it, makes me smile reading this! Thanks so much! Hope you have an awesome day!😊

Meat = Health and Peace
Iv been weighing up on whether to go on a carnivorous diet. And man was very helpful and has given me the enthusiasm to go forth and not look back. Thanks.

My Great Great Grandmother lived to 120, but she lived on a island in Greece. All my aunts and uncles live to 100 and beyond.
This was an amazing video!
Thank You Both!!! 👏👏👏👏
This was a great interview. You asked some great questions and I came away with some questions answered. Thank you.
Thank you so much for doing this video. The dedication & conviction of the doctor is amazing! I checked out his page & posted a comment- he replied!😳 He has me pumped for dumping the small amount of carbs I had added into my meal plan- so starting tomorrow- it’s only meat, eggs & butter for me! Going to live my best life. 54 years old- you’re never too old to put yourself as a priority!🙌🏼
Im carnivore as well, just wondering how ur doing with it and feeling
@@melie-od6dn I was doing horrible the last couple of weeks. I was dehydrated, down to 121 pounds & seeing no improvement at all. Every day I 2nd guessed my decision but I posted my update on another one of his videos & he told me to up my fat. So I did the last few days -I added sausage in with my beef & made patties. I I also added some Junp electrolyte drink to my water 3 times a day for the dehydrated & I just feel sooooo much better. Meat, eggs, butter & water is not for me. I need more to live. People was telling me that I looked sick because I did. So I’m back on the journey to heal my skin. Learning as I go just happens to be part of it I guess! Thanks for asking. ☺️
@@Chele-nm4qx thank you so much for answering me....good luck on ur journey to health and wellness😊
@@melie-od6dn You too! Take care!
Do you guys use seasonings for the meat? Pepper, garlic, salt?
I generally wouldn't click on a 40-minute video, but I'm glad I did, fascinating video and the time flew by, wealth of information... well done and thank you
Oh yay, I’m glad you enjoyed it!!! Thanks so much! Hope you have an awesome day Kris!😊
for sure this was a 5 minute, 40 minute video, so glad i checked it out.
Loved the clip very ducational. We need more of these types of topics on eating right, cleaning up our planet, etc. Fantastic
Amazing interview answers so many questions...thank you
Thank you for bringing up weight gain and muscle gain, as a small framed male 5’7 140 lbs I feel you. Hard to stuff enough meat in to get my weight up. I hope he does more talks on this aspect for people trying to gain weight. To me losing weight is the automatic easy part
Yes they talk so much about loosing weight which I don't need, I have to check I am not loosing weight.
I’m 5’7. 142lbs and feel great after losing 36lbs and 5” off my waist. 64 yrs old and started back weight training. Don’t worry about gaining weight. Gain strength and look ripped. I use StrongLifts 5x5
He talks about adding dairy to gaim weight. Drink that raw milk.
@@LifeIsWonderful675 yea i'm tired of these fat mf taking all the attention.. we need more advice for the lean among us
You won't gain any muscle weight if you aren't working your muscles to failure throughout the week. This is why distance runners look so much different than sprinters, and distance runners will consume nearly twice the amount of calories per day.
An actual MD! Thanks Lillie! 😁
Amazing interview! Thanks
