- This week, we're getting ready for the Farmers Market! Who's ready for a cool Fall morning and fun trip to the Farmers Market?! We are! We'll be making a go at our first booth at a Famer's Market soon and want your votes on what to bring! We know a Welcome sign is a staple. just found you 2 thanks to UA-cam's recommendations :D I priced these already made plain planter box signs at my local Hobby Lobby, they wanted $50, thanks to you both my hubby and I will be making me (ummm us) one for our camper. I love the idea of the magnetic interchangeable "o". for mine, I think I will put my magnets on the sides of the O. thanks for the enterment and the tutorial. time to grab my hubbyluv and get making, but firsgt gonna watch some of your videos

Hey, You could take some thin backer board and stain it the same color as the pickets and trace and cut just the outside of the “O” leaving the center filled in. Then you can use it👍

Ok... watching this again to get some inspiration. I just had a thought about the "O" in home. Depending on how strong the magnet it... maybe you could drill the hole for it through the back leaving only a thin bit of wood. That way it doesn't show when someone wants to use the "O". And for the O.... just add a small nail or something for it to hang from. Like in your "no tools DIY front porch sign"

What if you put smaller magnets on the sides of the O & the boards then painted all of them to match the finish??

Hi you lovely people, to attach your “o” attach a long thing rectangle, painted black to the top centre of the o extending down into the middle. Put a washer on the end of the rectangle. 🎉
They both look amazing. You could do a longer board with the letters higher up so when the plants are in you can still see all the sign.

For the O you could put a piece of fence behind it the same black color then glue a washer to the back of that. From a distance you wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s not the same piece of wood.

I love doing farmers markets but here since covid it’s been hard to fine one open... do y’all have a pros and cons for the machine y’all do the stencils on to get them that big
It’s a US cutter and so far we like it a lot!
Sanding is good but I lightly run mine through the thickness planer. Works for me with no effort.
