- This week, we've got a new take on an old favorite! We're making an Interchangeable Front Porch Planter box. We were challenged with a way to hang door rounds, not on a door. So we widened our porch planter and added a hook to hang a door hanger. We were almost finished when we decided to add a little something extra to up it's game. Come watch us #doitbuilditmakeit!

We charge $100 for the planter box and $150 for the set.
you can also make it like a little garden bed and put where the signs are make tomato sign or basil or strawberries or something like that i thought

Wish you could do a snow mountain on a piece of wood with wood shims
That is the best stain to use. I have been using it for 4 years and have never have a problem. They do make a pickling stain that gives the whitewash effect

I made the hanging flower pot and interchangeable sign stand that you did a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting for magnets to come. The first ones I bought were too light duty. It went together great with your measurements. This one today is even better. Such a great idea to make one to hold the door rounds.

They're just from Home depot - we SCOUR for good ones
You can torch the wood before staining the wood. I've done several pieces that way

Hey guys great project! you may not know that Titebond makes Titebond lll and it is an exterior glue Titebond ll is not fyi that's all! Love the channel,the projects and you guys!
Thanks for the info, Mike! I reached for the Gorilla Glue, but it was bone dry. Titebond is my backup. Do you like Titebond III or Gorilla Glue better? ~garrett

You know what would be really great to offer with this planter box? You can do the interchangeables OR OR OR you can put the family name there. House of WINDSOR. I think I will be offering them that way. I want them buying more signs from me lol
This looks great. Now I just need a porch big enough....LOL. This would be great on a patio around a pool with the flowers and use the hook for towels. You could also hang the sign and use the planter portion for rolled up towels or pool toys.
