If you ask for directions lol men don’t ask lol you’d love it here they give directions by where the old store burned down and things like that. Love this project I WAS missing the pocket saw and Brad. Thought the hammer came down, you know Maxwell’s silver hammer lol.

This is really cute. First signs of Christmas....yippee!!! Sure hope you come up with a Santa, Sleigh, Xmas tree like the gnomes. Waiting for those to arrive right now. Still working on the pumpkins. I love them.

When using the country chic paints a on woods that’ll be kept outdoors, do you guys ever seal them with anything? I’ve never seen any sealing in any of your videos, so I’m super curious how it stands up outdoors? I’ll go replace all my paints with country chic if I don’t have to seal them! Lol 😂
We don't often seal because our signs are never outside that long but yes! We suggest sealing them lol
This video is just missing more Garrett using glue. I have a fever! And the only prescription...is more Garrett glue!

I hope this isn’t a dumb question- but the washers you guys use (at 16:22) are they just regular washers from Home Depot or a home improvement store? Or do they come with the magnets? If bought separately do you remember what size they are? Thank you!

how do the magnets hold up during the wind? do they hold the signs pretty well?
Yes! The only reason we have a wobbly magnet is because we drilled the dip for ours a little too deep so careful on that!
Love this! When you added the base paint before you added your paint on stencil did you let that completely dry before? Sorry new to this!
Is there any tricks to using mod podge, I've tried on a Buffalo plaid sign, I let a dry, buy when removing my stencil after the paint had dried it was peeling? What did I do wrong?
You don’t want a very thick layer that dries completely or it will peel up

How do you make such big stencils on one sheet?
We use a really large cutter instead of a cricut

Halloween Garrett puts the signs at an angle to add effect. Kim goes through and makes them straight. Don't worry Garrett my wife would have done the same thing. Keep it up guys!!

Not for outdoor use but we do seal them! :)

I did not understand what you meant be using modge podge or base paint to seal?
Hi Linda. When using a stencil on wood, sometimes the paint will bleed under the stencil. Using Mod Podge or the base paint will seal the edges so there's less likely to be bleed. The color you're stenciling stays only in the stencil area. Hope this helps!

With a painted surface ikebana this video), you can use either one. With a stained surface, you'll want to use Mod Podge.
