    This is great. Giving me a lot of ideas of how I could do this on my 6x10 trailer. I don’t really want to get a dump trailer. Utility trailers are more versatile for me since they’re easier to load with lower deck. Very interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing your set up

      Thanks for your comment The only downside to a utility trailer is the weight capacity is much lower than a dump trailer in a similar size.

    Interesting rig up. Seems like those fellas at the end were digging it too 😂

    What a Great job! I could only imagine what you could Rig up if you actually put some Money in to this unit! I am thinking like metal sides for trailer and metal push blade! This is the same concept as the garbage trailers i have seen only they use a hydraulic piston behind the blade to push the stuff out!

      Check out minute 8 in this video for my upgraded setup. Still cheap though.

    Can't believe how much good firewood is dumped there...

    I'm thinking I should maybe make some kind of channel for the false wall to slide into so it stays moving at a 90% angle instead of possibly turning while it's moving.

      Everything you see here is just so I can take it apart real quick and put my mower back on the trailer. The only problem with running through a track that I can foresee is debris getting hung up like mulch that kind of stuff and binding up the situation. I have some new videos where I'm using it with the walls bolted on for doing leaves and that kind of stuff and it works perfectly fine

      @sololawnprofessional thank you. First question, at 1:23 you show the winch wire coming out of the plate, without the big fairlead they give you in the box. Did you leave that off for any reason?

    • @sololawnprofessional
      @sololawnprofessional  9 місяців тому

      @@jamess9910 I didn't use the big fair lead because there wasn't any room for it under the trailer there's barely enough room for the winch mounting plate

      I noticed in the video that it looks like you put a cable lock on the winch to keep it or is it there for something else?
      Also it looked like you put a piece of metal underneath the pulley for the cable in the back, possibly to keep the cable on the pulley?

    • @sololawnprofessional

      @@jonsheahan3816 The cable lock is just for theft deterrent.
      The rear roller frame is made of scrap metal and the first time I tried it out with a full trailer load the roller frame bent in half. It wasn't built strong enough so I made a new frame and used pieces of the bent metal to reinforce it.
      I have not had any trouble with the cable falling off the roller while in operation.
