Euy S4
I was faced with this option last week after my S4 got stolen I was contemplating whether to get it again or get and more expensive bike because you're not wrong about some of the cheap qualities but at the end of day I couldn't justify another $1,000 I was happy with the speed I was happy with the look so I went and bought another cheap e-bike literally $50 more than the EUyS4 for it arrives on Monday hopefully is as good to buy as the S4

X class class rear suspension is not good to rigid

consistently amazed by the quality of these videos. I personally would most of the time go with the cheap china option, as most of the time, they are the same parts, from the same production lines, just off brand, or unbranded. The euybike looks like a great bike.

The EuyBike S4 looks nearly identical to the Jasno X50 Ebike.
Great video! I think it really depends on what your budget is…. If you have the extra money, go for higher quality 🤷♂️ But if the higher priced option isn’t much better, then theres no point spending the extra money!

I loved this cheap o ebike, I got trashed for it but I loved it!
if i was looking for a first time ebike,i'd say the euybike might be a decent start,since 48v is a decent power output for a starter in that bike style,but if i were to go for a second or third....i may go with the ariel rider. otherwise,i do wonder on the seat you got to replace for either,been looking for one to go on one of my bikes,and its tough to find some that have actual bolt points to fasten to the frame

This will fit the X class, idk about the euybike.
Got the one piece seat for the S4 but haven't had a chance to put it on yet - maybe today. I will say it is more enjoyable to disable pedal assist altogether and just use throttle for assistance - you then can get just the right amount of assistance for maintaining relatively slow speeds when that's desired. I found that when riding with someone on another less powerful bike this was necessary for better pacing.

they sell a longer on piece seat for the S4 now. I just ordered one. The stock seating placement is so disappointing.

I bought one. Pretty solid. A little delay in the dal assist. The seat was terrible so I found a maker on ebay for $124

The bike with the seemingly better welds.
That’s 6061 aluminum.
The other with seemingly bad welds. It’s Steele or another metal harder than aluminum.
Ride the Steele or cromoly bike in the trails.
Use the aluminum bike on the on road driving only. Aluminum bikes wind up developing the signature so called Cannondale creak which is different yes but still the same. Cannondale bikes are carbon fibre.
That and aluminum aren’t comparable but the creak sure is.
I do not know if the aluminum stretching or is is micro cracks that cause the creaking sound to occur.
Ohhh just make sure to listen for crank creaks that’s the first indicator most of the time that indicates aluminum stress.

Just have to research the manufacturers. Ive seen american companies such as zugo may they rest in peace edit their website to show strictly 5* comments. All bs because the bikes were average at best of you were lucky

my dude, pretty sure you can adjust the suspension on these bikes, not to mention locking the front all together. all that talk about suspension is moot.
You can adjust coilovers on cars but the characteristics remain similar. I experimented with both, researched what others found online, this was their result as well. You're welcome to chime in if you have both also.
@@Qsandbank See if the spring can be adjusted by turning the conspicuous knob on the shock tower. The air damper is usually adjusted by a valve under a cap on the opposite tower.

The fork is horrible on these bikes as is the frame… don’t buy these sub 1,000$ bikes
All you have to do is invest 400 into new forks and shock and you have a durable comfy ass bike for 600 cheaper and you have better forks and shocks than both of them

Products from China? Wow. Fooling Americans into thinking quality products come from China now.? Wow. Hate to say it but anyone under 35 probably doesn't know quality if it stared them in the face. Especially if they think anything from China is "quality". You did not refer to EUY as a Cadilac... I was sort of the same way in beginning of my e bike journey, thinking bikes like EUY were a decent bike. They were the first few clicks, and what comes up right away on Amazon. Then I realized even now, I haven't even discovered half of the e bikes out there. EUY is not even close to a middle of the pack folding bike. Even bikes like the Polarna M6, after all the discounts, is around same price as S4 and is a better lower to middle of the pack folding bike by a long shot.
This wasn't about folding bikes. Solid frames. And I've been doing a lot of research and this video represents truth quite well.
