The way it folds it causes the wiring harness to crimp. I've had problems with my lawn mower handle and refrigerator door breaking wires internally resulting in a huge cost to repair. The fridge is, basically, impractical to fix.

You have to also do the scheduled major maintenance stuff in addition to oil, lube, and filter maintenance. Which is the part folks skip or don’t do that causes issues on the road. That can be belts, hoses, flushing of various fluids, bearing, bushing and strut changes. Hit 300k miles with no issues, and if you’ve done all the major maintenance stuff. You have a nearly new truck.
