Sunny Side Up was the first album from Paolo I heard and it was as of he had discovered his fathers record collection and did a song in each artists style. Just a wonderful album. Definitely Otis vibes here ❤

You could react to his new material, pick any song in the "Live in the Bittersweet" series, or to some of his earlier stuff, like Pencil full of lead (live session), Coming up easy at Montreux Jazz Festival, One Day (official accoustic) etc. You can't go wrong with any song in his catalogue, he's that good.

He was born in Scotland then moved to the UK He is of Italian and Scot decent(thick Scottish accent ) Paisley Scotland was his upbringing. I absolutely cry everytime I hear his Iron Sky filmed at Abbey Road

Man, hadn't you picked up the Otis Redding's vibe I'd have been wildly disappointed. Paolo is just pure diamonds and gold, *especially* in the fase this jig belongs to. And he'll always be I guess, except when he disappears and leaves us wondering and longing.

I'm sorry that Iron sky is what people most react too. subject and style wise it's kind of an anomaly for him. This sort of thing is more usual. the only thing about this particular performance is evidently they'd been joking around with the audience and emcee between the songs and he seems to be trying not to crack a laugh, he keeps smiling when this song is usually delivered with a more serious/sad style.

I've listened and watched a number of different versions of this song, and his live versions are far and away better than the studio versions of this song. This particular version at the Leon Loft is my favorite . He so deeply conveys his emotional distress, it makes you relive those moments where you shared that same emotion. Maybe he's not the best at "vocal gymnastics", but he makes you realize that there is far more to singing than just technique.
