This is a really helpful tutorial. I watched it for the first time last year and searched for it again this year as a refresher. Excellent - thank you!
Thank you so much! This tutorial was just what I needed! Thank you for explaining it so straight forward, I’m so tired of videos that have ten minute intros for a two minute explanation! Brava! ❤️
I realize this is an old video now, but it’s still very useful. Thank you for the narration, because I don’t understand why people make videos like this only do have you read what’s on the screen. It’s like, if I was gonna read, I’d just look it up on the Internet and not search for an actual video of it.😅
I only poke one hole in the egg, then use a syringe to inject air into the egg while holding it hole side down. I then use a bleach water to rinse out the inside. Oh also I first draw out some of the egg because if you don't have air room you'll break the egg shell. Start slow. Don't inject an entire syringe full of air. Your egg will blow up
I usually just put the holes at the bottom of the egg so you can't see them, but you can always cover it up with a little tape or paint or something similar.
She left out that part. Video would've been so much better if she had provided instructions for rinsing it out with water. I use a squirt bottle filled with water. Just put the nozzle into the hole and shoot it in like that. Or you can use a syringe with a tip on it small enough to fit in the hole.
Be aware there is some horrible, inane, irrelevant, background white noise behind this otherwise engaging presentation but it is possible;e to follow it with the sound off and captions on.
before painting I recommend sanding the eggshell with sandpaper or a nail filer
you can do this so your paint sticks better

Well that was the strangest thing I did today. I had a faint memory of doing this in 2nd grade, thanks for the refresher.
Thank you for your help, Have a good day
So can you color it with s dye kit?
Yep, it's still a regular egg shell! It's very fragile though, so be careful. You could also consider coloring it before blowing it out.
I remember doing it that way!
Excellent tutorial thank you! xoxo
Thanks--very helpful
Excellent
Thank you! X
I never do it with tape but Il try it’s a good idea
Thank you. I soooo needed this.
You are so welcome!
great video. thanks
This is a super tutorial, thank you so much, 👍😍❤️
Good video. Have you tried a Kid's bulb syringe to blow out the egg insides?
Great idea!
You can scramble the eggs for dogs. They love it.
I wonder if I can color the egg first, and then blow out the insides (so dye doesn’t get inside)
Very useful!!!
thanks my family will love this thanks
Thank you!!

Thanks that’s my girls homework sorted 😊
Thank you!!!! ❤️❤️
ahh thank you so much! needed this.
You're so welcome!
How are the holes covered after the shell is dry? They look pretty bad with those holes no matter how the egg is decorated.

@@PracticallyFunctional 👍
I'm thinkin I'll fill mine with uv resin. Let's hope that works.
My mom tried to do it and just as she started to blow my dad walked in and it was really awkward-
.... and getting warm soapy water into the shell to rinse it is done how? Buy filling your mouth with warm soapy water?????????
