I never thought to use tape! Great idea.
Thank you so much! This tutorial was just what I needed! Thank you for explaining it so straight forward, I’m so tired of videos that have ten minute intros for a two minute explanation! Brava! ❤️
Glad it was helpful!
Nice vid. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you very much, really clear, simple and easy instructions, you gave me a lot of confidence to do it!
Thanks--very helpful
I remember doing it that way!
Thank you. I soooo needed this.
You are so welcome!
great video. thanks
before painting I recommend sanding the eggshell with sandpaper or a nail filer
you can do this so your paint sticks better
Thank you! Tape trick was genius ❤
Thanks! I needed this reminder. It's been years since I tried making these.
Thank you!!
This is a really helpful tutorial. I watched it for the first time last year and searched for it again this year as a refresher. Excellent - thank you!

Thank you for this very helpful video! My daughter and I just blew out an egg for her school Easter activities.
Awesome and easy to follow tutorial! Thank you for making this.
My daughter's school egg project called for the egg to be blown out. Thanks for the easy tutorial!
Thanks for a great video!
😲
I never do it with tape but Il try it’s a good idea
Thank you! X
Thank you, your way is much better!
You can scramble the eggs for dogs. They love it.
Excellent tutorial thank you! xoxo
So can you color it with s dye kit?
Yep, it's still a regular egg shell! It's very fragile though, so be careful. You could also consider coloring it before blowing it out.
Thank you! Very detailed and practical!
You're welcome!
.... and getting warm soapy water into the shell to rinse it is done how? Buy filling your mouth with warm soapy water?????????
She left out that part. Video would've been so much better if she had provided instructions for rinsing it out with water. I use a squirt bottle filled with water. Just put the nozzle into the hole and shoot it in like that. Or you can use a syringe with a tip on it small enough to fit in the hole.
Thank you for your help, Have a good day
Very useful!!!
This is a super tutorial, thank you so much, 👍😍❤️
I’m using it as an April fools prank
I wonder if I can color the egg first, and then blow out the insides (so dye doesn’t get inside)
thanks my family will love this thanks
Well that was the strangest thing I did today. I had a faint memory of doing this in 2nd grade, thanks for the refresher.
Excellent
My mom tried to do it and just as she started to blow my dad walked in and it was really awkward-

How are the holes covered after the shell is dry? They look pretty bad with those holes no matter how the egg is decorated.
I usually just put the holes at the bottom of the egg so you can't see them, but you can always cover it up with a little tape or paint or something similar.

I'm thinkin I'll fill mine with uv resin. Let's hope that works.
