    I'm 71 yrs old, a scratch cook, baker and detergent maker. I go through a lot of vinegar and baking soda. What impressed me the most was the damn cheese grater hack and the foil to sharpen blender blades. Brilliant !!! I've been watching you a long time and you never fail to impress me. :o)

      Amongst all the decent/good tips, you picked the worst tip to praise. You can't sharpen your blender with tin foil. Tools never get sharper by cutting stuff, otherwise you might as well just blend stones to sharpen it. People use sharpening stones, so why not just blend them to sharpen your blade?

      @@clemensruis I have a stone and electric sharpener so I have no idea if foil would work or not but I do know stone and foil are nothing alike.

    Yeah. This channel has such great tips!! Please share with your friends and family!! One of my favorite things is to save all my vegetables scraps into a big ziplock bag, adding to it as you use your vegetables through the week or longer. Put this bag into your freezer. Then when you are ready you can use these scraps for vegetable or any stock you choose to make! Saves so much flavor!

      Save the paper dry onion skins separately. When you have enough, run them through a food processor and use them as seasoning. The skins won't necessarily desolve in dishes so be aware of their texture.

Mint tea makes good base for simple syrup for ice-cream or plain cake and then add the fresh fruit on top with some crushed nuts or chocolate shavings. Easy way of making "fancy" delight especially on hot days.

      I stopped watching the clickbait when he didn't give the temperature of the oven to cook the eggs. He knew what he was doing.

    • @Yojero
      @Yojero 5 місяців тому +14

      I looked it up; its actually not worth it - 30 mins in the oven @ 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) - or maybe it is if you have like a lot of eggs too cook ( but even then my pot can hold 12 eggs no problem). They also suggest to "put an egg in each cup of a standard muffin tin" and make no mention of using the original egg packaging.

    • @Pinsyl

      @@M_LaddThis isn't click bait. 😅 He usually tells us what temperature, human error.

      @Pinsyl Human error can easily be corrected later with a caption. If he cared! More likely, Negligence. After a while, like a lot of things, it gets tiresome.

    This is such a great show. I could watch this guy for hours. He is a good cook; he can also be very humorous. Loved this particular video because kitchen hacks are a God send. They can safe so much time, money, and even stress, because for me the kitchen is NOT my favourite part of the house. This show makes me want to keep learning and trying. A paste made of baking soda, lemon juice and salt (any combination and amounts) rubbed into most any stain and laid out in the hot sun all day will usually take the stain out. Of course, be cautious about the color fastness of the fabric.
