    Hi Dominique, my hairdresser actually uses olaplex #2 with my relaxer. She mixes it in which helps to prevent overprocessing because it slows down the straightening process and it makes my hair feel SO healthy. Because it is rebuilding the bonds during the actual treatment, my hair is so much stronger afterward. Just wanted to share!

      Oh yes, and I have been sealing with Kerastase Nutrive Olio and it is WONDERFUL. Such a great sealant and my hair smells delicious. It comes out so smooth after airdrying if I seal with that. And Meghan Markle apparently uses it so it must be great, ha!

    After being natural for 10 years, I got my hair relaxed two weeks ago. S curl was a major part of my natural hair routine and I was gonna throw it out because I didn't think people with relaxers used it. I guess I will keep it and use it the next time I wash and see how it turns out.

    Just stopped back by to leave my 1st comment, I have to thank you for some of the tips that have helped me so far. Deep conditioning, and combing my tangled hair from ends to roots. Drastic change in the amount of hair in my comb, I was standing in the shower singing your praises! Although I'm an adult, I'm only 3 1/2 years into long hair. I'm so used to my short cropped hair that I was mistreating my new long hair, and it started breaking and thinning. I found and subscribed to your channel, and I'm more hopeful about my goal now (I want elbow/waist length hair). In the front, we're about the same length. At the longest point in the back, my hair reaches the middle of my back. I'm sticking with your routine, as natural isn't my thing. I tried for the 1st year i was letting my hair grow, and it looked like Maxwell's old fro. Lol. Anywho, thanks again...please keep the good tips coming!!!

I just got it relaxed again and love it I will go it touched up every 10-12 weeks because my hair does well with a little stretch. Hey Dominique! 👋🏾
    I currently texturise my hair and my hairdresser recently died my hair using organic black vegetable hair dye-it helps with moisture in your hair and best of all it’s chemical free and washes out after a couple of washes I’ve had 3 already (not noticeably faded) and my hair can be jet black! Lots of love from the UK if you want to explore the non chemical hair dying route xox **update I’m currently transitioning to natural I just wanted a change 🤷🏾‍♀️😆

    I use the Creme of Nature coconut milk back in the past I think it was two years ago and you're absolutely right it is a little runny and it didn't hold the moisture in my hair as long now if you want something really quick for a few hours then yes that's it, just basically it, the s-curl oh my God that stuff is something special it really does hold moisture in the hair it makes the roots of your hair very very soft manageable and it lasts in my hair for a whole entire week now my oldest daughter uses that and her oldest son use it on their hair but this is their main moisturizer besides the Blue Magic Originals super grow it's a grease and they use these two on their hair you know what I tried that grease on my scalp when I was stretching I had to be about 16 weeks post and it made my hair so soft it wasn't heavy no hair strings came out I was really considering on using it only when I'm stretching that far. I'm going to think about it, your dog is so special and cute, I wanted one but my husband says no😦 Lol, thank you so much for sharing God bless you💜🙏

    The problem with my hair is that is tooooo thick and it's relaxed! And if I don't relax it automatically gets curly on the edges and scalp .

      NAdine Mercy I think you’re safe to switch relaxers the next time you need to relax. I use Silk Elements. Really like it. 🥰❤️🙏🏾

      Thank you, I've used the silk elements before but it's so hard to get in the us. The only store that carries it is Sally's and they are out half the time. That's the reason why I had switched b4.

    • @StyleDomination
      @StyleDomination  5 років тому

      Hi There! I have no idea. I'm sorry! I don't follow that whole porosity thing. I think I have normal to high porosity hair.

    • @glauciapantelli4129
      @glauciapantelli4129 5 років тому +1

      Roblox Speedbuilds I have low porosity hair too. I like the As I am moisture milk and follow up with flax seed oil or argan oil. I also like the Kera Care oil moisturiser
      I don’t moisture and seal my hair every night to avoid build up. So I moisturise and seal one day and then skip the next day and then repeat.
      Low porosity hair can sometimes be protein sensitive so be careful with the leave ins and deep conditioners you buy.

  • @Gina-nz8je
    @Gina-nz8je 5 років тому +1

    Also i wanted to no how to moisturize and seal low porosity hair?

    • @StyleDomination
      @StyleDomination  5 років тому

      Hi! I'm really not sure about treating porosity levels. I don't usually abide by all of that. I section my own hair into 5-6 sections, use two pumps of the S Curl and apply through each section (2 pumps of moisturizer per section). Then I add oil to each section concentrating on the ends. Has really been working for me. I do not use this method on flat ironed hair or it will make it frizz. Hope that helps!

      Moreau edilvie Hi there! I get it. I know what you’re saying. Please know that I didn’t do all of the normal steps I normally do when I washed my hair here. I let it hair dry. I flat ironed it in larger sections and did it quickly. I also cut off a lot. I know it doesn’t look like it did before, but it is stronger and feels much, much thicker. The next video, I will go through all of the normal steps I usually do and you will see that it’s the same. If you go to the Community tab of my UA-cam channel, you will see what my “usual hair” looks like. Take care and thank you for watching!
