This is the most useful warhammer channel on youtube. An actual competitive player give you actual hints!
Hey i am so glad you find value here!
This continues to be the most useful wahammer channel on youtube. I'm not a tournament player, but I'm smashing my m8s every time I play. It's great
Glad to hear it! Keep that Krumping up!
I would pay to watch a 3 game series between John and Liam. I wouldn’t pay much lol but the offer stands.
:D yeah its between those 2 thats for sure
Love using marked for death against Hypercrypt and grey knights
16:00 THIS is why you are the best 40k youtuber!!! keep up the great work dude!
Wow, thanks!
That was extremely useful, as usual! Thanks.
cheers! My pleasure
I felt lucky several times to draw Marked for Death in endgame, that's often free 5vp ^^ This mission is really straightforward and rarely add tactic choices (unless as you said you have an offensive opportunity to set up) !
you got it
Good next level competitive play video 💪
cheers my guy, use it to smash some nerds
Good vid is good!
I think learning to provoke my opponent more is something I need to do.
I love trapping my opponent into bad decisions!
Really useful video. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
thx
its my pleasure
great vid!
Cheers bud, glad you found it useful!
Can you explain the calidus and marked for death interaction again plz?
when you are marked for death, your opponent scored 5 VP if they kill the model, or if the model is no longer on the battlefield at the end of the turn, so if they choose to lift the callidus, they give you 5 VP IF they selected her as the target for Marked For death
@Happykrumpingwargaming007 but that would be for your secondary not there's correct?
Of course marked for death is you choosing 3 units for your opponents to kill. Or vice versa, if your opponent chooses their callidus, don’t discard it, because then if they pick her up you get 5 pts and if they don’t pick her up they cant use her
I accidentally did this with embarking into a transport thinking I was clever lol
Do you think area denial should be added to the "not on first turn" secondary?
no, i dont see why it needs it
So good
go forth and smash!
Wait why do you score mark of death if they lift the calladus
when you are marked for death, your opponent scored 5 VP if they kill the model, or if the model is no longer on the battlefield at the end of the turn, so if they choose to lift the callidus, they give you 5 VP IF they selected her as the target for Marked For death
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007what happens if they go in a transport?
they leave the battlefield, but the only way that would happen is if they have some sort of reactive move
You don't have to win if you make the opponent lose 🤔
This Git Gits it
Think the game was better when the emphasis was more on the destruction of the opponent as opposed to victory points. Used to be a roughly 70% focus on killing the other team, objectives could give a close game an edge one way or another. But should never take priority over actual combat.
i mean to be fair, like over half of the ways to score require killing people :P but i can respect that opinion
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 Yah, just in my limited experience it lends itself to moments that feel more jarring, discordant from how people imagine the world? Too many instances where it becomes less a simulation of war and more just a game? When you have heroic space marines hunkering down hiding on a tiny disc to get some secondary points while their brothers die on the other side of the wall. Feels like... the gamification of it, less cultivating to the illusion of combat.
Unfortunately o-X does exist
hahaha yes 0-x does, just not a consistent x-0. The point of this channel is to make sure no one is a consistent 0-x though!
The within/wholly within dichotomy needs to be removed.
i dont think so. It seems pretty clear to me
