As an aspiring coach, I love this channel. I will say that very few games depend on die rolls. But when they do, it's because of insanely bad luck, because you're gonna be rolling so bad that something like charging Dante, 10 van vets and a sang priest into an eldar vehicle and only do like 3 unsaved wounds for a total of 4 damage. Stuff like that is incredibly rare, though it has happened. One reason I like blood angels, is they are good into just about every target with the same tools.
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 truth. It takes some seriously bad rolling for it to matter. I guess one other time, when you are perfectly even matched with your opponent.
I like the content but found the background music distracting and annoying. Made what you were saying hard to follow. Otherwise, I'm 100% here for more of this content.
It's so funny to me that you call your style "I'm gonna run up and punch you in the face". I've described myself the same way, same words, many times. I felt that way taking Tai Chi and Aikido and hating them. But I've also described 40k the same way. My first army was BA in 2nd edition and it was maybe the best suiting army I've ever had. Trying to recreate the magic in 2024.
Great video as always. I am guard player...and wasn't sure where I'd categorize my game plan. I love rolling cheap chimeras out early on objectives and see if I can get a trading game going. Is there a typical plan that lends itself well to non-indirect guard? Seems like denial, can't kill me (bullgryn spam), and (possibly) "you are dead" are all viable.
Glad someone has indicated that the Blood Angels are looking not so good. I'm guessing you don't get free advance codexes sent to you. I still think they will be very strong, but lists will have to change to make up for the near total loss of VVets, nerfed DC output, terrible SangGuard, etc etc. Unfortunately, I think the Blood Angels have to get a bit more 'tricksy' with Mephiston/Callidus/etc
no i dont get codex's i rely on leaks like everyone else. GW has ignored my request for collab so far :) The codex looks fine, but it certainly drops power from where it currently is
My expiriance with nexus is that , and l am neither a good player , nor is my army optimised, is that opponents swarm objectives and then math wins games for them, because l can't kill/outscore/out objectivd stuff like, 18 bullgryns and tanks or 100+ model armies .
I do not :) I love playing the game, but my models look like they are painted by a 3 year old hahaha. The "hobby" part of this game is not the part i enjoy :P
I don’t think the codex is bad by any means but a melee faction losing access for guaranteed fight on death can not be understated imo. Personally I feel like LAG will be the best detachment and I don’t think it’s better than index SoS. By no means am I a high caliber player though and I have been wrong before lol.
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 the faction was carried by units that no longer exist. Jump pack sang priest, full fist/full inferno DC. I am not sure lone OP mefiston and 6 man sang guard will replace them.
Shame that the algorithm requires the clickbaity title, but at least I know on this channel that it will actually be worth the time!

Guard still relies on trading up and we trade well with things like grenades and tank shock and lethals
As someone who plays Necrons (right now the phalanx detachment) what would that style be? I’m still pretty new but I imagine more defensive yeah?
completely depends on the army build and how you plan on running the army
I think the videos are better without the music.

forcing trading on objectives, while punishing infantry staging
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 can you clarify what you mean about the second bit!
2:45 actually that's not how RTS games work either, that's also a newbie misconception. Good points otherwise though.
