Every time I hear this particular one, I just can't stop crying. Somewhat this is my redemption song. It's been for 25 years. When I heard it first time I was 9-10 years old, totally thrilled, couldn't believe, that such music it's possible... Neil is the guitar god.
@jeebsh I was raised on this stuff, and all the other amazing stuff that came out around that time. And I'm 53 now, still loving it, and absolutely delighted to hear that "young people" are into it!! Bless You and big kisses too!!
I seen this concert with my dad in 2008, 2 days after being discharged from the hospital for having a life/drug/teenage-induced psychosis.........Neil melted me, and this video still has the same effect. I was so numb on medication, but his music hit the very core of my soul. Truly a magical moment in history. I hope to see him again soon. He is doing what he was born for. Aneurysm350 (love the Nirvana throw back;) Thankyou so much for loading these videos. You will never know how much it means to me.
@biminitwst Absolutely, Neil Young is a godly figure to me. Started attending shows with Crazy Horse since Rust never sleeps and will never wear out on the Icon.
NEIL IS THE GREATEST SONGWRITER TO EVER WALK THE EARTH! LONG LIVE THE GODFATHER OF GRUNGE! LONG LIVE THE ROCK N ROLL KING! LONG LIVE THE BEAUTY OF THE FOLK/ACOUSTIC! LONG LIVE THE 2 GREATEST ALBUMS EVER (ON THE BEACH/TONIGHTS THE NIGHT) LONG LIVE NEIL YOUNG! (PLease come to south africa!!!)
I was at this show. Without a doubt the best live show I've ever seen in my life. Neil Young still kills it harder in his 60s than most musicians in their 20s.
I have always thought that I could hear a bit of Canada in Mr. Young's songs, and this is a perfect example. If you don't like this, you just ain't a rocker.
Beautiful performance ! The man is a legend for a reason, true to his music. True to his values of peace and non violence. Great that he can still play and perform, history is littered with those who didn't survive. I listen to him & it takes me right back to the 70's instantly. Thank you Neil Young.
Rock bands of today: (Are there any?) Take note and listen, this is how it's done. I'm 54 and I have kids that are in their late teens who tell me they grew up in the wrong era

Amazing how his songs are timeless some rockers look stuoid trying to play stuff from when they were young but neil is different he must have been wise beyond his years to write them when he did it is amazing how amazing he is

Niel Young had an aneurism in his brain A few years ago, which are life threatening, but he had it repaired-- he turned that into a splendid event in Nashville. I'm sure that is the reason for the name
what a pleasure seeing somebody touching the guitar like that. whooo. all musicians today should have their daily "young bath" to learn how to get away from their hedonistic themselves [of course this comes from a german...] and get in touch with something more universal.
I have many memories on this song. It was played in the church when a girlfriend of mine was buried. I haven't had a chance to say goodbye cause my father died a month before. I regret this for the rest of my life. This song tells me; you get no second chance when it comes to death: react immediately
Two things- first of all, Neil Young is good in this performance. His guitar playing is still excellent, and his voice is no worse than it ever was. Anybody who actually likes Neil and is above whining endlessly about how old people should never play music knows very well what I'm talking about. Lousy lead singing is part of the whole Neil Young experience. Finally, there is nothing really wrong with old people playing rock, so long as they continue to play up the standards of their audience.
@radioheadfan235 Many years ago, I listened to Zuma (the album, not the pollie) going across Rissik St on a bus with some very shitty headphones. There was a good record library near Fattis and Monis near Loveday St. NY Rocks ok. CH do too. Long may it all run.
Neil Young was, is, and always will be the greatest rocker, folk, freak folk, alt country... to me and thats that. Rock the fuck on Neil!
AGREED Neil Young will forever be one of the best rock performers of all time
Well said Marvin. Fresh every time. Always in the moment. And this was only 4 years ago!
Amazing.
I graduated high school 1977. Rock & Roll was still going strong. Thinking back gives me a BigBuffaloHeart-On.
If only I were his grandson, haha! Gotta love Neil. Real fucking music, and he'll never retire. A true musician for life. God bless him.

I saw him in Lethbridge right before he was in Calgary, truly one of the greatest moments of my life.

I saw him in concert w/Crazy Horse last year in Albuquerque. He's amazing!!! And totally hot!
Legend before our eyes. I wish I could see him live.
@johnyerman I agree. And the last thing Neil is thinking about is his hair, pouch, or age; he is just killing it!
Great jam. He's totally in it.
Neil is the best rocker left out there!
Amazing!

Hi I'm Neil Young and I don't need no stinkin pick to blow your minds!

way to go Neil!! 64 and there so much more!
Thanks a million for posting such an awesome vid!
Real. Raw. Beautiful.
High Voltage 🔥🔥
Neil plays better than dudes more than half his age. May he live a thousand years.
When Neil Young was 23, he wrote "Cowgirl In the Sand". When Adam Young was 23, he wrote "Fire Flys". That is where this world is headed.
Such a talented man, and the older he gets the Better he gets !! ROck on Neil!
I have many memories on this song.
It was played in the church when a girlfriend of mine was buried.
I haven't had a chance to say goodbye cause my father died a month before.

When so many loved you, don't ask why are you so loose.

He usually does a tour every year. We should hear soon if he's doing one. Or maybe he's busy writing some ingenious music!

I think Neil Young is actually immortal.. or so I hope.
Loved him since Buffalo Springfield.
