    Hi Tim
Great videos so thanks. Is the Excalibur still an awesome detector in 2019? There seems to be a fair bit of competition with new technologies out at the mo like the Equinox 800... And have you experienced any issues with the control knobs in the excal? Thanks

Excalibur unbreakable heard about leaking probs with the equinox’s but the Ctx 3030 still popular with massive coil

Had to send in nox 3 times to have replaced, they leak like crazy. Good luck submerging one..

Great video , got one on the way. The excal should be at my place by Friday 😁 or Saturday I have to sacrifice a nice us strat and a mid level detector

Thank you, I am learning the language my minelab speaks. This is like having a translation dictionary. I absolutely love this detector. One of the most bothersome tones I find, come from the brass casings from a .22 caliber bullet. they fall through the scoop and sound like 18 k gold rings. I can dig and dig and dig with my scoop in chest deep water and finally get the little buggers. I do not complain, because they are going to settle in the same strata as gold rings. This is a nice video and you have helped me. Thank you. George.

Thanks for the review Tim. I’m currently using a Minelab X-Terra 705 and looking at upgrading to the Excalibur as I’m mainly on the beaches these days and having a waterproof detector would be great.

Fantastic info for me and everyone sharing and watching
I have a couple of alloy shafts from old machines I have been considering and it’s true I get sore arms and back until I find a ring and it all goes away now one arms bigger than the other one
So it’s too late for me but for everyone else they should read up on your simple way to lose some weight on the Excalibur
Thanks for the time to contribute to the Money Pot TD

I thought you get a lot more depth than that 🤔
My Nokta legend goes deeper and it's half the price 🤷🏿‍♂️
