Thank you for sharing your real experience, taking the course online , it took you a year and you took the test 5 times. Thank you for being transparent. Cant wait to pass mine here in Colorado.
Hey Alex! I am very interested in getting into real estate here as soon as possible, I was thinking a ton about it over the last several months and I think its time to finally get to it. I really appreciate everything you shared and would love to connect with you to get any more tips from you, I live in Broomfield CO. Look forward to hearing from you!
Great video! Im 22 years old and have been in the mortgage industry for 2 years now but looking to branch out into real estate here in Colorado. How’s the first year? Would I need a part time job while building up my first set of clients?
Would love to jump on a call! I think having a team and support was extremely helpful! My first year was great! Sounds like you have knowledge of the industry so you should do well. I wouldn’t suggest having a part time job. I’d go all in!
Hello Alex, I have my "active" lic in Florida. Last year, I've become a Colorado resident and I want to have a RE LIC here in Colo. What, in your opinion, are the steps that I have to take?? thanks.
I believe you just need to get your Colorado license should be easier for you. I’d recommend VanEd. I think real estate express has a discounted one that’s not as hands on since you already have a knowledge base.
Great content, Alex! How are you liking so far with REMax? I would love to connect with you get some details. Or maybe you can make a video about it. I am sure it will do great!
I actually work with Compass. If you want to give me a call or shoot me a text I'd love to talk. My number is (303)587-9440 my email is alex@jordanterrellgroup,com
Real estate is the only way to go. A career that’s lucrative and one you can pursue with out having a degree although it helps. Also having any kind of experience in sales or this career path will give any entrepreneur a head start, or experience needed for future opportunities.
This is great info! I start in person classes next month. The only thing I’m kind of nervous about is that I moved recently and I don’t know many people, do you think someone could be successful realtor in a town where they don’t really know anyone? Also were the tests open book? I’ve heard some states allow that.
Sorry for the late reply. I absolutely think you can be successful even if you don’t know people. It’s all about hustling making genuine connections and helping people out. Building up your referral base and connecting with as many people as you can. There is a lot of teams who work with online leads as well.
After I pass my real estate exam both national and state for Colorado, do I need to buy errors and omissions insurance before I can apply for the real estate broker license?
I am considering a real estate career . At the moment I work full time and if I decide to take the real estate courses I plan on doing it online because it seems flexible. I would like to know if you have any pros and cons to the career ? Also what are things you wish you considered and or knew before entering the field ?
Hey Julio, these are all GREAT questions! A lot to unpack here. Feel free to reach out via email or text and we can jump on a call and I can explain my answers to these great questions. alex@jordanterrellgroup.com or (303)587-9440- Talk soon!
Great question, you end up taking both at the same time. If you pass one of them the first time you only need to take the one you failed until you pass.
I don't have any experience or heard anything about them. I would recommend VanED from my experience. Keep in mind you get what you pay for. I hope that helps.
Hi Alex ! Just started hybrid classes with Armburst. wasn’t expecting to be sprayed with a fire hose holy cow ... lol Trying not to feel Overwhelmed. Do you recommend reading every single page and when should I study my flash cards ?
It is super overwhelming at first! It feels like it's a lot. There is a lot of repeat material and as the course goes on you start to understand things because you will be learning the same things like 5 times. I think I'd say don't over think things. There is a lot I didn't understand starting off but now that I am in real estate it makes sense. I would recommend Prep Agent. He has great content that helps for studying the national information. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help!
Let me know if it would be helpful to jump on a call and I can help explain things that are not making sense to you and see if I can help out! 👍🏼 Best of luck studying!

You should be able to get your license before I believe. The brokerage I’m with includes the E & O insurance.

I’ve heard good things about Kaplan!

Do you have to have a laptop with a camera if your taking the exam online?
If you’re taking the very last and final exams online you do. For all the course and stuff you don’t need one.
Have you heard any thing about The Colorado Realestate School?
Im about to order this course as well.
