it is absolutely amazing that I just decided to look into successful realtor videos and you come up.. I am myself in Law enforcement, buy because of my customers service skills I've had quite a few people telling me I should look into Real estate. of course you'd ask me: "why would I go into RE, when I have a good career?" and I've had some of my close friends tell me I should go into RE, but I just didn't have my heart in it, and the economy was not so well, and funny that's probably the time I should of got into.. so, anywaise I saw t his random add from coldwell banker in Washington and I met with one of the managing brokers and he really inspired me to look into it. So here I am, working everyday LE job and almost done with my RE classes. just wanted to say I am glad I run into your video. your very inspirational and I am looking forward how far I can push my self. :)
I think one of the best ways to sell is to really Listen. Branding is important, agency is important and even the car you drive is important but no listen is bad for business. have fun q
Good advice for newbies in the business, Jessica! Being a fellow veteran myself, I totally agree with the branding and training. I'm so grateful that I had wonderful on-site training from my brokerage firm back in the day and surrounded myself with top agents to learn what they do. This is outside of real estate classes of course. The firm you select is upmost important as a start.

Annie Kalee usually once you decide to obtain your license, you have a sense of how the industry works. Pretty you have your foot in the door & the realtor that's guiding you is the one to send you to obtain your license.

One question I have is SHOULD someone become an agent in today's world? I'm potentially on the path of getting laid off and considered realty. I've spoken to folks who are agents and closers and a lot of them are struggling to even find buyers now. I guess it's all about location but it sounds tough out there!

This is a strange random problem maybe you can help... I market my local area on Craigslist for free in an effort to create a movement of people in hopes I will see my property go up in value.... I tend to get a decent amount of serious leads that I have nothing I can do with since I am not a license Realtor... I'm not doing this for profit just for fun... what should I do?

HI Jessica!! Very helpful tips! I am starting RE courses in a few days and will taking the classes for the full weeks required in my state. Once you take the test and pass, how long does it take to get your actual license? I was told it could be 6-8 weeks due to the finger print card that needs to be submitted with your application. Thanks!!
