I actually saw the first one you compared it to about 10 years ago where the Milwaukee Bucks play. Of course they have all been pulled out and upgraded to a new system by now but I didn't think I would ever see those alarms again. Cool!
Me: Mr. Wheelock, we don't have anymore electromechanical horns in stock to put on those old strobe plates! Mr. Wheelock: Idk, lets just add one of those ET Vandal Resistant speakers on it. (LOL, it seems that those vandal resistant speakers are very popular!) On a serious note though, VERY COOL DEVICE DUDE!
I have seen outdoor versions of this from probably the 90s with a slightly different speaker design and an ada vertical strobe mounted on separate back boxes.
I believe these alarms were installed in the parking garage in Bally's Casino in Atlantic City, NJ in vertical mount. They're even mounted on the ceiling in the bridge to the casino.
NJMoo3652 It's definitely under that section. There's no installs I've seen personally with these, nor have I heard of many systems with these installed (maybe one or two from other viewers). Furthermore, I haven't seen any more on eBay since I obtained these
If you were to search for the strobe plate on eBay, what would you put in the search box? I know many of these are rare on eBay, but I heard that someone said it would be in the RAF section? I have no idea where that is or what that means.
Honestly, I just found this while searching for "fire alarm" on eBay. Rare stuff will actually turn up under that query from time to time. You just have to keep looking. "RAF" is simply an enthusiast given name when discussing rare items (not on eBay) that stands for "rare as heck." Well, that's just being family friendly, I'm sure you can figure out the rest.
One word: A E S T H E T I C S More precisely, probably a different style offering at the time, kind of similar to why there's a 7001(T) (flush mount) and the 7002(T) (surface mount). Probably the same reason with this particular one, this one can be flush mounted on an appropriate surface box (would be in the wall).
@@NewEnglandElevators grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i want the 7001t version of the CF819T-WS24VDC pls instead of vertical strobe
I've already answered this question multiple times in the comments of multiple other videos. I encourage you to make the effort take a look, rather than asking me upfront.
my school fire alarms are simplex 4903's they are voice evac. but it goes more like this and it doesnt have the two bongs before the purge siren. two whoops. may i have you attention please x2 and emergency has been discovered in the building please evacuate. something like that

SWEET!! I was wondering if they made a speaker strobe version of the 7001T! Now I know!! :D Sooooo hard to find now!!!
This is actually a part of a different series. It is the 800 series. It was Wheelock’s first speakers. So it was sold at a different time.
I have seen outdoor versions of this from probably the 90s with a slightly different speaker design and an ada vertical strobe mounted on separate back boxes.
These alarm are still in service in the main lobbies at the Sheraton inner harbor in Baltimore
Another location confirmed with these devices! Glad to see an alarm like this still in service!
There are also some cool unmodded westy's that i filmed with Pickles horvath which i will upload in a week or 2

The first message isn't a Fire-Lite Message it's a Wheelock Message.
I haven't seen those anywhere either. I meant the speaker/strobe that looks like a 7002T.
Those were popular before the E50s,E60s,E70s and E90s Were code compliant. The Eluxa Takes it a step toward the future with the leds.
I swear I stayed at a hotel that had an entire system of these speaker strobes along with a few 7002Ts. It was years ago.
I believe this might be under the RAF section

So it's a speaker/strobe version of the V7001T
Is it known if they made horizontal strobe versions too?
i always thought this was a horn strobe

Ok, thanks so much!
It always kind of interested me that there's no strobe-only versions of the 7000 family.
Wouldn't that just be a WST strobe?
Wow that's a Rare one!
+Ken Orr Sure is! I think it's the rarest device I have.
The Rarest device I have is an 1890s Gamewell Fire Alarm Box. Never seen one on eBay or anywhere,
+Ken Orr I was surprised to see this on eBay when I did. Glad I got it, let me tell you that.
Why are there pluses?
why did wheelock make this model when there's a et-1010-ws-24 (vertical strobe)?

@@NewEnglandElevators ok i have one rare device
@@LF5xu Nice!!! Which one?
But why are there two different numbers in one model?
at my old school, they have 7002T.
it still skips when strobe flashes
The voice message is not fire lite. That's the Wheelock voice message
At first I thought when I saw those knd of alarms i thought they where horn strobes. Nice Vid
Where do you get these messages?
I said pluses. LikeCF819T-WS24VDC. You said CF819T PLUS WS24VDC.
where did you get the simplex message?

The most quietest fire alarm
Imagine this, instead of beeps and voice, its a SCREAMING child! More panic if that scream child alarm was installed in a really busy mall!
That's what the Spectralert Advance sounds like.
Walk to the nearest stairway.
I love how it said it

Did anyone else notice that the strobe made a squeaky noise?
Hi newenglandelevators! I just won a FireLite BG-6 In an Auction on Ebay! Pretty sweet right? There Very Rare. Il post the unboxing video on UA-cam.
Fire alarm going off in the theatre and no one moving
what is this one called I really like how it sounds
Not sure on what model, but they are speaker strobes
I like the Simplex message better than the Wheelock message.
Looks like only 5 condella
