As of today, System Test 26.1 is 10 years old. This video in particular is very special because a lot of people found the fire alarm community through this video and channel. Kind of insane to think this video came out 10 years ago. Time flies I guess.
Same, this might be one of the first fire alarm videos I ever watched back in 2013, maybe 2012 when I was younger. Now that I’m older, I’m not too much into fire alarms as much but it’s nostalgic to watch back on these videos.
The intro is my nostalgia to 2010. Good memories. Would watch these videos day and night when I got my first computer at 8. Now, I’m 18. Time flies Thank you to NewAge, Charlie Davidson, and others for making my childhood
Same, was 8 and terrified of fire alarms, I had the idea to watch them on UA-cam to get myself used to it, and it worked, and it lead me to NewAgeServerAlarm! Time does fly!
Yes, my Elementary school had 2903 light plates with the same horns, the lights were strobes though, and they had it set up in continuous. My middle school has True Alerts in code three, and my high school has True Alerts in code three, I miss these old alarms.
When I had my house I had exit signs and emergency lights also. Both 24 hour lights and power failure lights on their own circuit (also run with visible wiremold sometimes). I had a pretty cool mood light serup in the living room too. Man I miss that sometimes.
5:04 That's a little nostalgic; that's what the alarm sounded like at an elementary school I used to go to. I forgot how I'd hear slightly different frequencies as I walked through the building.
The nostalgia from watching this as a kid when I was in my fire alarm phase on my dads old DELL desktop computer but now watching this again and his other system test are flooding my brain with nostalgia.
This was the video that got me into this hobby. Because i had the simplex 2901-9833 on the 2903-9101 at my elementary school. But they were replaced with system sensor speaker strobes

I gotta ask anyone out here who knows, how, or where, do you find the 2903 Light plates? I've been looking for a few months off and on and I haven't managed to find one.
Hearing the intro makes me cry. I miss all the times in 2017 i would watch your videos all day. I would miss out some of my homework in 2019 cause i watched these so much. Good ol days. Now life has gotten so crazy and ive been busy, just miss the old times when life was simple. 2017 was the good year.

FANTASTIC SETUP! Love the video! I wonder if anybody can help me: I remember that my junior high school had a system with corridor horns that were actually horn shaped, each box had 1 horn pointed left and 1 horn pointed right..... and the alarm was 4 blasts, 1 second pause, 4 blasts, 10 second pause. Then it would repeat again. 4 blasts, 1 second pause, 4 blasts, 10 second pause. Does anybody have any idea what system that might have been?
Yes, I have since learned that it was an IBM system with IBM 4030 dual projection horns, and that the bonafide IBM panel was set up with a 4-4 code wheel in the panel. Thanks for your help!
