As of today, System Test 26.1 is 10 years old. This video in particular is very special because a lot of people found the fire alarm community through this video and channel. Kind of insane to think this video came out 10 years ago. Time flies I guess.
Same, this might be one of the first fire alarm videos I ever watched back in 2013, maybe 2012 when I was younger. Now that I’m older, I’m not too much into fire alarms as much but it’s nostalgic to watch back on these videos.
The intro is my nostalgia to 2010. Good memories. Would watch these videos day and night when I got my first computer at 8. Now, I’m 18. Time flies Thank you to NewAge, Charlie Davidson, and others for making my childhood
Same, was 8 and terrified of fire alarms, I had the idea to watch them on UA-cam to get myself used to it, and it worked, and it lead me to NewAgeServerAlarm! Time does fly!
Yes, my Elementary school had 2903 light plates with the same horns, the lights were strobes though, and they had it set up in continuous. My middle school has True Alerts in code three, and my high school has True Alerts in code three, I miss these old alarms.
Man this was one of my favorite channels to watch in kindergarten and 3rd grade. I was a strange kid lol. But now I am on my sophomore year of high school, crazy to think these videos are old when it doesn’t feel like it has been that long.
This was the video that got me into this hobby. Because i had the simplex 2901-9833 on the 2903-9101 at my elementary school. But they were replaced with system sensor speaker strobes
The nostalgia from watching this as a kid when I was in my fire alarm phase on my dads old DELL desktop computer but now watching this again and his other system test are flooding my brain with nostalgia.
5:04 That's a little nostalgic; that's what the alarm sounded like at an elementary school I used to go to. I forgot how I'd hear slightly different frequencies as I walked through the building.
Hearing the intro makes me cry. I miss all the times in 2017 i would watch your videos all day. I would miss out some of my homework in 2019 cause i watched these so much. Good ol days. Now life has gotten so crazy and ive been busy, just miss the old times when life was simple. 2017 was the good year.
When I had my house I had exit signs and emergency lights also. Both 24 hour lights and power failure lights on their own circuit (also run with visible wiremold sometimes). I had a pretty cool mood light serup in the living room too. Man I miss that sometimes.
This video is now 12 years old...i was young, like real young when I found this man's channel...used to watch him on my old channel...im 13 now and that intro is, if not, the most nostalgic thing ever...im glad I found your channel again after so long and I'm real honored to have this guy as a part of my childhood..
6:27 my Elementary school has this horn that was my favourite sounding Horn as a kid and still to this day it sounds really nice. In my school that horn was set to code 3 man that horn was music to my ears
Dude you must’ve had a terrible structure fire experience to be this paranoid and over the top with this. I absolutely understand tho, and I applaud this wicked setup you have
@@crapcopter Yeah I know, I actually have a personal hobby of installing car alarms, God forbid someone with loud exhaust comes through my neighborhood, it’ll sound like the Bank of America getting held up
Wow, this takes me back to fall 2012, 7th grade. I used to watch fire alarm videos _all_ the time, and I used to think this guy was so cool. I even see some of my old comments from 9 years ago on the page! LOL! Ahh, my fire alarm phase. I legit used to take pictures of smoke detectors in public buildings with my little LG slide phone! Probably pissed off a few security guards. Granted, I've always had an unhealthy obsession with alarms, ever since I was a little kid. But I've always liked security systems much better than fire alarm systems. Still, alarms in-general are such a fun hobby, and it makes me so happy to see all these young fire alarm enthusiast channels following in the footsteps of NewAgeServer(Alarm). I wonder if he knows the legacy he's left behind. Even though I'm an adult in college now, it's always been nice to know there are other guys like me, even today. :)
Hey newageserveralarm it's an honor to see your setup I'm going to purchase my first house in Pasco Florida and just wanted to say that me and my buddy are getting started in the fire alarm hobbyists our first fire alarm will be an Edward's strobe from 1950s or something extra rare ❤
The edwards horn in the garage is an F, the simplex horn in the basement is a A, the fire lite horn is a C, and the Alarm in the living room is an E. So all 4 together would make an Fmaj7 chord.
I gotta ask anyone out here who knows, how, or where, do you find the 2903 Light plates? I've been looking for a few months off and on and I haven't managed to find one.
