    That voice sucked it wasn't monotone and the effect was weak especially towards the end. Idk why they didn't use a vocoder

      In fairness, it has been hanging with James Brown. That'll pep up anyone's speech.

      I think the voice in the movie was dubbed in the studio in post production? what they call autotune/hardtune today Back in the 80s they didn't have the technology to do it live like they can now. Like you say they did have vocoda that they could do live but still wouldn't of sounded exactly like it did in the film.
