Yea I’m very disappointed that they say made in China now. I don’t know what else to use without spending thousands on a BPD external oil cooler which in my book is the only true permanent fix. They should have stayed with a oil cooler design like the 7.3s had.
I've heard you mention mishimoto few times and your videos oil cooler mishimoto be good to use
I only use oem or bullet proof diesel oil coolers. All others are inferior in my book.
Did you know a garden hose end fits into the hose that goes into coolant bottle? Clamp it down and get full pressure. That helped me flush mine!
Yea but it’s usually not the problem area like the heater core, radiator and block. Thanks for watching.
Any thoughts of upgrading the 03’s water pumps to the 100 over the 90. Does it make much of a difference? I put a Ford 90 water pump in 5 years ago and know it is a matter of time before this one goes.
It’s a customers truck. He just wanted the water pump replaced no upgrade was discussed.
Just wondering why you changed the water pump. Did you feel it was damaged by the pudding created by the oil and coolant mixing?
It was leaking like I showed in the video. Had to be replaced.
@@AutomedicGarage Sorry I saw there was water coming out I just did not know if it was as a result of the oil cooler failure. I am about to dive into my second oil cooler in less than a year (Dorman failed ) and was considering the water pump as well but mine is not leaking.
@@ironsales5669 I highly recommend the BPD diesel billet water pump. A quality product and the impeller is also billet.
What brands oil cooler you recommend?
Only OEM only other one I install is any of the Bullet Proof Diesel kits. Thanks for watching.

Cant get Ford or International coolers any more. They've discontinued the part.
This is the end of the 6.0.
You are correct, I have 2 left in my toolbox for my own personal use but you can get the IPR or BPD external coolers which are superior anyway.
