Cash_NYC yea. It blows cold air real good. Problem is if i try to turn on the generator without the ac, this is the sound i get. If i turn it on with the ac turned on, it makes this noise for a bit but then ac is told to engage and the noise goes away
Cash_NYC i had replaced belt and alternator last month. I think tension is right because it doesnt slip or make the sqealing when its running the ac. I think ill spray some pb blast on the ac pulley to help the clutch break free from pulley in case rust has seized them together. It should work if the magnet that engages the clutch turns off and the clutch plate just doesnt release from pulley. Thanks for your help though. Its good to have someone to bounce ideas off. Good luck!
Bad bearings, back in the day one used to be able to use service them with a grease gun.
This one the belt was loose
Mines was doing that too
Cash_NYC howd you fix it? Is it belt tension thats problem? Or is it ac comp clutch not disengaging?
Zero Fayt is you're a.c. compressor Working? My a.c. compressor was bad

Zero Fayt make sure you're belt i adjusted tight and check you're belt for cracks and if it's worn out.
