That's a joke. What this docu failed to mention was that Kenny had ppl on the inside at the port who was helping him sercure paperwork, etc to make exportation possible. I'm sure plenty of bureaucrats were getting their palms greased. Also, as a professional who services these cars for a living, the bozos didn't even understand how the cars worked. "If you break the window the computer is disabled" 😂😂😂 yeah sure bud.
Most cars of that era didn't bring a GPS. Hell, most today don't even bring one. A GPS is a customer installed device, or it's installed by the dealership on financed vehicles if the customer is a high default risk.
Finally, his downfall wasn't the accident. His downfall was he let the Chinese cartels in on the business. He borrowed money from them, and paid them back (with interest) fairly quickly. Afterwards they approached him, and offered him a partnership. He accepted, and suddenly the pressure was one to bring in cars cars cars. That's what drove him to be desperate and make mistakes.
His story is an interesting one, google him.

To me, the criminals won, especially after getting ONLY ten years and moving millions. Not to mention the number of victims and the effect on insurance companies. They won.
Absolutely. I imagine he could afford a VERY good lawyer, he'll be out in no time! :D Go Kenny!
He'll probably be out early and still have most of his money. And that's 10 years or less of not having to pay any bills.
Well, the mastermind won.. I don't know about the other guys. They probably only got like 500-1000 USD per car or something down those lines. You know, to keep them coming back for more work.
