I've said this before, but it's worth repeating. The narrator is the best in the business, imo.
He's top notch for sure. Do you know what his name is? He reminds me of a narrator in those National Geographic documentaries.
@@MrClassicmetal Tony Call (aka Anthony Call) was the narrator for the majority of the FBI Files shows, as well as a bunch of other docos & shows over the years. He has the perfect tone & cadence for these shows.

Agreed. . Also - Robert Stack & Sheriff John Bunell were both on top of their game. Top notch !!!

I've been looking for this story since I first heard about him on criminal minds. Please post part 2
Thanks
The only ones who cam print money to spend as they choose & that makes money wilorth less is the fbi boss politicians & federal reserve......the real criminals & crooks the fbi should be arresting
I agree. Can’t wait for part 2

Ahh the 80s, when you were free to commit crimes in malls with no surveillance. The good old days. That sarcasm.
Commit crimes all over with no surveillance, no dna and fingerprint identifying was not as great.
Watching from Southeast Texas…..great narration.
The way he carelessly strew around evidence is mind boggling!!!
A very interesting case which I had never heard of before. I really want to find out about de rest of this case now. Hopefully part two will be posted soon
Yes total cliff hanger, yet no mention of a part 2
@@flej01 look in the comments a couple of people have posted a link to part 2 👊🏻

I saw this story on Forensic Files.
What this guy was doing will BLOW your mind.
Discretion Advised

The FBI Files is one of the best TV shows I've ever watched. The iconic soundtrack, the narrator, Jim Kallstrom, everything is just great!
So the secret service spent millions on trying to stop a guy who was spending forged $20s , probably around $10,000 or less, brilliant guys, good use of public funds
Impossible for the secret service to know the true extent of the counterfeiting operation.
Penny wis pound foolish
Penny wise
If your one of the victims no amount of money is enough. How much would you have them spend to find you or one of your family or would you say just stop when you hit $10,000 ?
It frightened us because it startled us…
This guy was, and still is, underestimated. Thriving criminal energy. Dangerous. Sick.
Couldn’t ID victims or crimes? It only takes looking to find them.
no joke? seems hard to believe
This was very disturbing case ! 😮
Composite picture: looks nothing like him. FBI: "Definitely him."
We are looking for a black male dark and light skinned between 4'6 and 7'3

You do know this is a recreation.
This narrator is a genius
What a creepy guy...smh
This would make a hell of a movie.. this creep was creepy
This guy is something else 😮
If the Secret Service can spend this much time on somebody passing single $20 bills-and many of them-they must have spent more than 1,000 times the value of the counterfeit bills.
😮Great show indeed
What an extensive case!?! 😮
"The Federal Reserve System is not Federal; it has no reserves, and is not even a system at all. But rather an international criminal syndicate."- Eustace Mullins.
I did not know Secret Service was investigatory agency for counterfeit money 😮!
Yes. In fact, that was its original job.
Where have you been.
I learned that when I was 18
22:24 shows the investigative quality of the Secret Service. They can search random Malls, Airports, and Shops nationwide but can't take the time to eliminate the people they've arrested in the past for the same offence firstly. A proven absolute fact is criminals repeat their crimes so it's imperative to investigate them first. The Court's have ruled it is no violation of Civil Rights for known perpetrators to be investigated without proof of involvement. Their past behavior makes them a reasonable target.
Very interesting movie! 😅
Wow i never saw this one before and i thought i seen them all
Thanks for reinforcing my view on the bureaucracy and the incompetence of public officials -obviously aint much to do at the SIS if they can afford to throw this much resource and incompetence at one individual
You're too narrow minded and judgemental
40:25 Had the Secret Service tried to return the driver's licenses they would have found out that those women were MISSING! Hello, mister FBI man, these women are missing! The ball is in your court.
This is too disturbing to watch
Just about all "money" is fake anyway. Governments simply have the best printers.
Very true, .......say it again...
Substanceless toilet paper lacking backing of precious metal commoditisation
Watching from Mundum 1, Cameroon
He kidnapped and tortured women he must have murdered them too. Why didn’t the FBI pursued to find him guilty of 1st degree and gave him death penalty? What happened to the counterfeit carrier?
EEEEEEakkkkkk ! Part 2 NOW ... Please :)

The agencies need to catch up BBC with the forensic tools available ! They need to start collecting dna samples when families declare someone missing … hair samples from b a hair brush , finger prints from a drivers license , etc
Watching from Germany
Damn! The day this was released and watched without the 2nd part, i guarantee people were like DAMN TO BE CONTINUED.
Great work Secret Service on catching this guy😉
this is the first ever episode I saw of FBI files...
What's the name of the episode
Extremely interesting, great job on behalf of the secret service for insisting on truth!
Crooks
Thankx to the investigators that went beyond their narrow mandates to stop these crimes. Obviously he was a cop impersonator who brutalized women.
Part 2 Link: ua-cam.com/video/hPU_SgJ2Ccw/v-deo.html
He was a serial killer.
I remember working at convenience stores, and I never accepted $3, $9 or $30 bills. They looked suspicious.
Good job, secret service.
I did not know this was their job ? 😊
I GO TO SLEEP WITH THESE PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND‼️
BEST SLEEP YOU'LL EVER GET‼️☝️✔️
I used to watch forensic files and that stuff used to scare me in the middle of the night if I forgot to turn the channel but I was young it doesn't effect me anymore just sharing my experience😅
After I check to make sure I don't have any counterfeit bills in my wallet. Haha!
I wonder why the storage place lady didn't call the police if she suspected they'd be coming at some point
Holy crap 😮
the plate was atr 112 go get them i saw it damn it
I guess when the police are making about 35,000 a year average and they see all these people making big money ( and usually getting off because they have money) after awhile it must be difficult to be motivated.
Yes, lol you're fisrt this was so interesting looking for part 2
I call malarkey on the FBI for not picking up the case. The counterfeit money and printing press should have been enough evidence to pick up the case.
Actually, both the photo & the composite drawing also look just like the agent who is examining them!
i sleep to this
Three years straight: Spends about $1000. Secret service: "The amount he stole is insignificant, but we spent millions catching him."
I mean there was $70,000 at least they could prove.
Why wouldn't you keep the socks? You're always gonna need more socks
If that don't make your eyes water....wow....
Best way to defeat today's counterfeit bills is to scan them with a device that reads the magnetically encoded security thread in the bill and compares it to the serial number. Really hard to duplicate.
Most gas stations have a bill scanner.
Even if refused the go ahead I'd like to think someone would still track him like a movie and get the evidence on this sicko
Yes where is Part 2?😮
Get his DNA out there!
So many more commercials that other shows on UA-cam.
lex luthor level crim
The first fifteen minutes reminds me of the old Burt Lancaster movie "Mr. 880".
The video in this link contains both Parts 1 and 2, respectively (Part 2 begins at approximately 49:00): ua-cam.com/video/kt9WL5Wylmo/v-deo.html
A lot of people who like true crime haven't heard about this guy probably bc no one wants to talk about the sexual sadists which I get, bc their crimes are so horrible but if you don't think there are guys like this out there doing crap like this right now, you're mistaken. It should be talked about more bc it's right under our noses.
Amazing ! 😅 flying was his “ side gig” , but counterfitting was his main gig!!!?!
Notwithstanding the pilot's resemblance to an early sketch of the counterfeiter, they ruled him out.
You should probably watch the video before you spread false info. He wasn’t a pilot, he was a full time counterfeiter and serial rapist. The pilot theory didn’t pan out.
PLEASE! Where is the rest of it…. I can’t sleep now until I see how it ends!
He's a very sick person 😮😡
Oh my!?! 😅
Much lighter than 23 months? lol
@8:56 "the clerk described it as a white Ford but was unable to read the license plate..." And the guy drives off in a white Chevy Impala!😆
What a sick, pervert puppy!
Then switches to a Dodge to dodge the police! Sick!!!
wow l really like the part where they catch the guy and tell us what disposition the case/sentencing he gets..
👋
It's in the video history under the 5 month videos. Lol
FBI files
Over 90% of Americans cheer this guy on for the counterfiting of currency!
Government hard at work. Spending millions of tax payers money to catch a guy breaking the law for 20k.
NO FAKE because falsehood is bound to perish.
No Dana...I am not sick of webinars...I am sick of your stream yard commercials... Gn
Weird ending
Recently, with Quantitative Easing, it's clear that counterfeiting is big government business.
3 1/2 year team investigation is what hit taxpayers the hardest. Confiscated 50k & a porno, spent hundreds of thousands paying their salaries for years... all too common theme.
Where is part 2??
The funniest part is hearing “The counterfeit bills have defrauded the US Government THOUSANDS of dollars” like the people of the US haven’t been frauded BILLIONS of dollars. God-forbid they loss a couple thousands 😂
Ukraine: Thanks a billion!
They were providing context around those counterfeit $20 bills specifically... it's not the dollar amount but the effort required. Keep in mind that this was _one guy_ making small $20 transactions, so it's a pretty big deal for thousands of dollars of fake bills to get into circulation that way. Most counterfeiters make their money selling batches of their fakes to other criminals to use & distribute... so for this guy to make _fifty_ individual purchases at different shops all around the country _per $1k of counterfeits_ is a noteworthy situation!
Where is the ending???
Secret service and treasury side by side the law along with the FBI
We don’t check the flight records before we assign agents to fly around the country and follow the guy? Money well spent.
like most people I can only wonder what ever became of this case ? we would be happy for a type of closure.
JM DEBARDLEBEN, MOVIE 🎥 Will Be Great MOVIE OF THE CENTURY, !!!!! Watching from Great SOMALIA 🇸🇴🎩
They spent more money looking and prosecuting him than he made.
Not to mention printing money to send to other countries and the military industrial complex.
the print quaiity of US banknotes is terrible compared to other countries. Hilarious how americans think they're the pinnacle of anti counterfeiting tech with their little threads and cheap colour shifting ink
The banks don't like competition
Must have the same number on all the bill
dont know how old this is pesonally good luck to guy just for passing counterfeit notes and nothing else. as i am only 7 minutes into the video
Hola 😮
fun fact..real bills are printed on linen, not paper, and that type of linen is a controlled item itself. The public does not have access to it.
14:20 it's huey lewis!
22:00 Didnt know Ted Kennedy was in this. Far out!
You blv me ! Laser can't check IT !! IM sure
Isnt counterfeitting money laundering?
Gawd, doncha juss LoVE the end - No one knows what happened to the hundreds of gals in the photos, the end. This dude was so nondescript, patient and frugal for years the biggest shock was the amount of crap he collected - the way this guy tries so much to be a big deal its like each of his little projects was another little scared boy cry for help bc he had no plan except to try to be as normal appearing as possible to try one more date night without it devolving into a mental and real masterbation session, another letdown and loss of control so much so that he pretty much accepted that he wouldn't ever be accepted.
