- Don't make the most common mistake in Oxidation Reduction! This question confuses so many students. Watch this video to learn how to do this right. In chemistry, reduction is the gain of electrons, and oxidation is the loss. Oxidation reduction reactions are often called redox reactions for short.
sincerely speaking , u r the teacher who is able to spark curiousity and creativity. i guess u r the teacher Einstein talked about .
totally
Lol you need to meet and learn from every teacher in this world.... to find that one teacher Einstein talked about yo
Nerd
He is the chosen one 😗
I'm not even in chemistry and I'm learning Soo much
Thank you for basically being my professor this semester because my actual one sucks. You're the best.
I understand why you viewed this video and it's very generous that you're thanking him. However, saying your professor sucks behind his/her back is a bit harsh.
StreamVid7 teachers talk crap on student all the time...... fair game
StreamVid7 lol, mine is trash as well
@@NO-1-U-NO There can be trash professors kiddo, especially uni where they make the rules
@@mangamanha3219 bit late but if your uni has trash professors it's because your uni is trash
I smile whenever he smiles :)
same :)
ne wa me too .
same :p
ne wa same here. haha

Bro was born to teach, now i finally understand stuff thanks to you.
Ongg
The way he says oxidation reduction reaction is so catchy
True °__°
yes i realoze it too
OXIdation reDUCtion reaction
i felt like a king when i said the correct answer 'no' for the first question!!!!
Me too 😹
Same😂😎👑
Yeah, but I said, "No way! That's a salt!" Yup. Right, but wrong.
@@wowzwerintrouzer 😂😂
Me too
His classes are actually helpful, previous session I learnt that a equation starts out as neutral and ends up charged together. Then only it is a oxidation reduction reaction (if I am wrong please feel free to correct it)
His classes helps me a lot😸
You are teaching me chemistry far better and more efficiently than my professor that I pay to teach me chemistry. I appreciate your videos SO MUCH.
you always break concepts down so well. you genuinely make it easy to understand and I THANK YOU
Hi Tyler !! I am absolutely honored that i found you... i have to say you are born to teach, the way you teach is so amazing and eye catching ... i want thank you from the bottom of my heart , and may you live long and healthy with the power of the noble triples jems bless and teach more students to succeed in their life
Recommending your channel to everyone I know struggling in chemistry. You have a gift for explaining concepts very well and in depth.
OMG, that really tricked me!! keep uploading, you're teaching millions of curious young minds
Very clearly explained, thank you!
I like to come back to your videos whenever I need to refresh my knowledge of redox reactions.
You put so much effort into your videos thank you so much!
You make everything so clear! Thanks! :D
Thank you SO MUCH! The way you explain things makes the most complex stuff sound simple.
I cannot express my gratitude Tyler. Your videos are way better that my lectures. Every one of your videos that I've watched has given me that "oooooooohhhhhhh ok " moments. Thanks man.
THANKS SO MUCH. THIS HAS BEEN A TRICKY PART IN ALL THROUGH MY BIO CLASSES, BUT NOW I GOT IT. YOU ARE THE BEST.
Hi Tyler, could you make videos for electron affinity and electronegativity? It contains quite complicated concepts regarding their periodicity rules. It would be appreciated if you would clarify the definition each of them and explain about exceptions.
(I still can’t see the support button on your page. Please let me know!)
THANKS FOR THESE VIDS, MY DUDE!!!!
I'M REALLY *REALLY* GRATEFUL FOR THIS VID!!!!
Your the best! I understood redox reactions because of you. Your a life saver!❤❤❤❤❤ thank you for making these lessons simple.

I can't believe these videos were posted so long ago! 5 stars for sure!

bt u r providing us valuable and priceless knowledge for free ...hats off to u sir ...
i believe within few years students with only go to university for writing paper n they would learn everything from youtube at their own pace ....i believe we should donate a huge amount and provide it to u ...u r taking so much efforts ....those who agree hit like

Thanks for removing the confusion I had.
Hi, I find it very hard to understand my chemistry teacher and thought that chemistry is so hard to understand yet when I watched your videos everything is so easy. I find so much interest in watching all your videos. May you create more content on chemistry for engineering. Thanks
Thank you so much Sir, I struggled to understand but so far I'm so confident in my explanation
Thank you for being my prof cause my I'm studying by myself this pandemic.

You're so good! May God Bless you!
We dont have any teacher like u in our high-school... But youtube has helped...
great i really falling for chemistry...thanks tyler....
This man is saving my chem grade
I thought the answer to the question was 'Yes' because I saw charges on the reactants but not in the final equation, so I assumed K was giving up an electron to Cl and it would make everything neutral...But then I eventually remembered that atoms in a compound must have opposite charges so they can attract, and neutral charges wouldn't solve that :)
This is the answer I came to the comments looking for, thanks
thank you a lot for your hard work! keep going plz
your videos are soo helpful , thanks !!
How oxidation and reduction affect the food taste or so? I always listened that the food oxidize, but I don't know if it is related to this topic or other reactions happens when food oxidize.
I love your videos, thank you for sharing
