    Lots and lots and lots of practice problems with mole ratios. This is the first step in learning stoichiometry, for using a chemical equation to get mole ratios and using conversion factors and dimensional analysis on products and reactants.

    At precisely 14:50 min mark, Tyler makes an error in calculation. The answer to the conversion of O2 to H2S is 6.2 (rounded) not 9.2. He quickly pushes foreword and finishes the conversion from O2 to SO2 with the correct answer. ;)
    He is a fantastic teacher. I just find that when a teacher doesn't acknowledge their errors, it can be very confusing to the pupil. :) Thank you for all the work that you do, Tyler!

    THIS IS THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS! I used to think chemistry was a breeze, then I encountered moles and stoichiometry. I thought I'd lost all hope but I found this video and I cannot express how grateful I am!     Very helpful. I am taking gen chem 1 over the summer (kill me) and my professor never explained why she did the ratio they way she did. She just rights the two numbers and never the units so i had no idea what she was doing. Keep up the good work!

      Because a lot of schools don’t focus enough on hiring teachers that actually know how to teach, instead exclusively focusing on if they know the subject well enough
      What a lot of people fail to realize is that being good at something does not equal being able to teach it effectively whatsoever

      I know if I had better teachers that would just teach us the formulas instead of being all vague and using over complicated word problems and trick questions I would be able to do math better
      I can actually solve it pretty fast when I’m actually told how to solve it I don’t even need the answer for that specific question

    My chem teacher did'nt explain this well...she did not treat it as ratios...ive sat 2 hours for 2 times evry week in class not understanding a thing.
    Luckily there is you, making me FINALLY UNDERSTANDING HOW TO TAKLE THESE PROBLEMS...you made realise that its acctually ratios and this makes it easier.

      +vince gredo forget that they're called conversion factors, if you're good with basic mathematical ratio and proportion, then do exactly that, and things will get simpler.

    Your like awesome! In class, it gets difficult because the instructor doesn't go in depth on how to solve the moles but, you do and make it easier. Thanks!
