EGTBasketball 1 spg

Filip lol
EGTBasketball In 6th grade I get about 3 pg
+Dirk, nice, man. Keep working hard. Defense is mostly about effort.

4:02 Tip from behind
I remember this from the prison shower
Loll
hold up
Steals really change the momentum of the game. It really ruins someone's spirit when they get the ball stripped from them.
Thanks guys for another video. There's less than 3 months left before my season and I'm pushing the tempo on my training.
I'm no EGT 1st Team right now, but I'd love to see where I belong next year.
You're welcome.
Awesome, dude. Hope to see you on the list this time next year.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Just A Regular that's true
Just A Regular how much does it cost to train with egt?
Just A Regular for some. If I get that, I’ll play hard and but play smarter.
I did the second one in a tournament and I hit all ball and it was a clean strip and then they called a foul on me🤦♂️🤦♂️
About 2 steals per game but can sometimes unlock my inner Jordan and put up 7+ steals per game. My favourite being when I stole the ball and during the same play got the assist dat one is the game. The other team were up by one and wasting time so dat steal was pretty clutch
9 steals per game
In 2k
Ballin Sam874 Ballin Sam874 lmao
Last game got 7 steals
wow in irl wait let me see wat this ohter word in 2K wow bro
So how many fouls do you also average in a game?
Karl Anthony Rasing probably two or three
Sports are a lot about making the other teams have mental errors it makes them lazier and angry. They mess up and it ruins there game.
Anne Howell facts
I think this drill will probably help and hope I can improve on my highest steals from 9 to 10-11 with this thanks coach
And yea this is a subtle brag sort of but still thanks for the tips coach
You're welcome.

Holy shit
There's another great move that a post player can exploit to create steals vs penetrating guards.
It works if you're protecting the rim on 2-on-1 or 3-on-2 type breaks or if you're in the paint protecting the rim in a 2-3 zone and an opposing guard splits your guards and penetrates into the lane.
You step up as though you're going to block their layup attempt thereby faking them into dropping the ball off to a cutter or offensive player sliding in behind you.
The key is feeling which side behind you the offensive player's teammate is coming from (for example he's coming from your right) and using your left hand in your fake attempt to "challenge" the shooter while keeping your right hand down and to your side ready to intercept the pass.
Its a quick lunge toward the driving guard and then a slide step back and to your right, reaching with your off hand out into the passing lane to that cutter to intercept or deflect the pass from the penetrating guard.
In essence you're anticipating that the penetrating guard is wanting to draw you to defend him so he can drop it off to a teammate who is moving into the space you just vacated and you dupe him into doing just that but you are able to slide over and make the steal.
It works all the time
good looks
I mostly use the 3rd one and the dig steal those 2 are very effective
Nice to the point video and instructions
Umm... if YOU deflect the ball and your teammate recovers the loose ball, that is a steal for YOU.
its basket ball season so this is helping alot thxs
Great ,please continue to make more big help
Thanks. Will do.

Damnnn
Who are u
“Tip from behind”.... pause
U sus for even thinking that way first
thanks man, i need these tips cuz getting steals is my weakness
What order do you recommend doing the signature 7 programs? I have about 1-2 hours a day for basketball, and access to a full court and gym. Thanks
Aditya Andrade egt 2.0 and ejt 2.0
I’m a good Defense which is why this video increased my power 10 fold
This is great..🏀💪
The third one works better for me because I’m slower for my position, I’m always last after a turnover or a basket.
It's good you know your game and weaknesses, it gives you exactly what you should work on.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Thanks coachhh👍
Thank you for watching! Keep getting after it!
Also in EJT for the test the strength type was 5-8 and the spring type was 8-11 and I got a score of 9. Which version should I do? Thanks
Start with strength for the first month and then reassess after.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
2:56 I am just gonna go behind him and try to steal the ball, he probably will spin or do a crossover... At least that'll slowing him down.
I wish I was fortunate to play basketball every day
I average between 2 to 3 steals per game. I use the tip from behind a lot it usually leads a steal for my partner
Ummm coach can u make a video on how to be a better leader or how to be a better pg
I'll add it to the list. Not sure when we'll get it produced though. Make sure you're subscribed and have notifications turned on so you'll be notified.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Being mindful of those “blind passes” or as I call them mindless passes is huge
Not bragging at all but I average 5.7 steals a game in my league and I can honestly say that getting steals is honestly just effort and going after the ball that's actually all u have to do!
The biggest element of playing good defense is one's effort.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Luke Pusey no way you average 5.7 steals purely on effort. It takes a lot of technique and skill.
@@bryantmoreland2549, true, but most of being a great defensive player is effort; effort to be in shape to be able to sustain lockdown D the entire time the player is on the floor.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
if you run side by side with a player go behind him when he's gonna go for a layup then block him on the side where the ball is
That can be effective too.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
it does work but if he’s smart he can draw the foul or catch you on a fake
please make video on how to jump higher!!
Ball BASKETBALL work out
Could we please have tips on kyle kuzmas form?! LAKERS AND KOBE FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
I'll add it to the list. Not sure when we'll get it produced though. Make sure you're subscribed and have notifications turned on so you'll be notified.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
One that works for me is when the player I am guarding beats me off the dribble but is lazy with his shot and I block him from behind as hes raising the ball to shoot or make a layup...sometimes if I can read how the player goes up for his shot I'll let him beat me on purpose just to do that...
That's awesome man, as a defender your IQ is so important!
@@DeepGameBasketball Yes sir..it's crazy because I feel like too many players focus on their athleticism and skills and don't put enough emphasis on IQ which is so important. Thank you for making these videos, they help me out so much.
I missed the 92% off sale , I couldn't get it til I uploaded money to my card. Is there anyway I could still get that discount?

Yuhhhhh
killian_billion3 Nice profile pic
Can u jab the handlers hand to take the ball?
As long as you hit the ball, but you may be opening yourself up to getting called for reaching.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
@@DeepGameBasketball that's what confuses me is that ppl are saying that you can tap or jab the back of the ballhandlers hand to knock lose and steal the ball. But from what I know isn't any contact with the handler, some sort of foul, esp trying to steal.
Correct. Any contact with the ball handler while reaching is usually called.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
I average 1-2 steals a game and I did trick 1 in my game and I got a steal
Sick! Well done, man.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
Idk but coach Damin making me laugh hard stealing that pass on the first tip and it’s 12:00
Im pretty damn rusty from covid i was playing a pickup game and i i couldn't even shoot anymore i have a good form tho fuck covid
I average currently 3.5 spg
In division 4 special Olympic rec league
I’m 5’10 and the shortest player in the team with a steal average of 3.7
Nice. Defense is largely about effort.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
I like these videos....but I must say.....these are all gambles!!!!!!
15 steals per game
Franz RL 😂
Study Scottie Pippen videos.
im lockdown i should be a pf thats my playstyle but im too short and fAST FOR PF SO IM USUALLY AND PG AND SG
I am the exact opposite I am not a really strong post defender, I relies on steals and intercepting the pass than blocking. When I am guarding the perimeter like one on one I am good. But when they start to back me up to the rim I can't do much. My coach play me as an PF cause I love grabbing rebounds
The kid he was doing with looked nervous
Ok
23 steals
I have 20+ steal per game
I average 4 steals a game
Well done. Defense is largely just about effort.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
My goal is to get 10 steals each game
I average 6 steals a game
Nice, dude. D is mostly about hustle and effort.
- Joe @ TeamEGT
hi
first
0 steals per game
Is it just me or does that boylook very depressed? He looks like hes been holding hostage to that guy.
2nd is a foul..
Nah
James harden always does it
Oh wow I thought you guys would have tips but all you do is brag
dont think these are tricks tbh
Why ?
@@Drippy_JDj because these are just simple basketball plays
