  • Video review with comparisons for Transformers Masterpiece Grapple (MP-35) from Takara Tomy. This figure transforms from a robot to a crane truck. The official Masterpiece-styled G1 Grapple has arrived in the form of MP-35. While it is not the only MP Grapple on the market, it might be the best. MP-35 has a very solid design, build, paint, and engineering. MP Grapple extends and retools the original MP Inferno (MP-33) figure. MP-35 also comes with lots of accessories to fit both toy and cartoon themed collections.
We show off differences between Takara Tomy MP-35 Grapple, MP-33 Inferno, and Ocular Max's Girder.

I'm surprised how different he is from Inferno! These two are so much fun, Takara nailed them.

Hi Andrew! What hands are those installed on MP-10?

It is one of the first hand upgrade kits from KFC: thechosenprime.com/KFCMP-10HandsandGun. It is good, but nowhere near as nice as their newer hands. These older hands will not hold his guns without something like blue-tack to help.

Wow, this is a great figure. I barely remember this character but I want him.
Awesome review video BTW. Very thorough; I love the comparison to Inferno and the quarter turns you do to show all angles.

I love the robot mode but the out mode just looks like a toy truck

This my favorite video only because it starts with the alt mode first and then transforms into the bot mode.

awesome how he transforms. my only issue is that he is too cartoony...i wish he was more realistic in alt mode like the other mp figs.

Great looking, furthermore it is not as plain as Inferno.

MMC all the way on this comparison, in both bot and vehicle modes.

He seems a bit short and squat in botmode. For him to be roughly the same height as Ironhide in botmode, when his vehicle is significantly larger, almost seems like his legs are missing an extension step or something.

I'm just me that feel Grapple is a 10000x times better figure than inferno.
