I once saw in a UA-cam comment section that you can learn to French braid on yourself by leaning over the side of ur bed, that way it’s easier so your arms don’t cramp up.. also I then told my friend and she mastered it in about two days.

So cuuuuuuuute! I can french braid, I CANNOT dutch braid though. I can't make my fingers do the reverse of what they're used to, it's so hard.

Sarah N. Just keep trying. It took me a short while before I could do the Dutch braid. You Can try to do it without adding hair. Once you manage that you can add hair while braiding. This worked for me!

This worked great on my 5 year old!!! She wiggles and pretty much hates having her hair messed with but she's so active, all her moving makes her hate knotted and hard to brush. This a great way to get all her hair ( that's think and long and already difficult to work with) put up her hair so it's out of the way but still cute!! Thanks so much!!
Saweet! French braid is one of the few braids I can't do on myself. No matter how many times I try, it's just a knotted mess.

GIRL. I just cannot thank you enough! French braid are one of my favorite hairstyles, especially since I have curly hair and some days I just don’t feel like doing a whole routine. This is MUCH more simpler (?) than the other tutorials in my opinion. I love the outcome 💙

To kind of mask the line on your scalp and also the hair tie in the middle you could gently pull apart the braids to fatten them up a little and tug gently on the hair around the scalp line. It should undo it just enough to completely cover it!!

When you grabbed that short piece, girl when I bleached my hair last I used a shit af toner on my hair tryna get some yellow out and it literally dried out parts now I’ve got layers again.. I hate layers I spent 3 years growing my hair out now I’m back to square one 😂 I’m not mad though shit happens lol! Your hair has grown so much!

ALSO. advice for anyone with dark hair who does this, you can use eyeshadow a similar colour to your hair to colour in the scalp that shows through the base of the top plait ❤️
