    Doing a great job, young lady. Noticed when using grinder that your hair is hanging down. You should tie it up. If it gets caught in grinder, it'll pull out your hair in a split second. Keep up the good work.

      He’s not wrong about the grinder. Or anything that spins really. I had a cousin lose a chunk of hair once like that.

    So much coming together this week! I remember being able to work as hard as you do (but not the joy you obviously get out of it; wow!). I'm older and pretty beat-up now, but I can still look around our home and see all that I've done in the past couple of decades. And I'm still at it, just much more slowly. Never stop because, why should you?
    We've had a very strange Spring here in Wisconsin, USA, too. Alternating between rain, wind, hot, cold, repeat. But our leaves have come out over the past couple of weeks, the birds are nesting, and we just planted five new trees.

    The sheer simplicities and beautiful distractions all set in the echoes from the past all seem so nostalgic as the old blends in with the new. The past blends seamless with the addition of the modern improvements. Like the glorious nature there all around you, your renovation is coming to life and breathing life....breathing life and evolving into your dreams! Blessings to you on this journey!

    • @mayafeliz
      @mayafeliz  4 місяці тому +4

      Hi, I left the stone wall open to breathe into the air gap to prevent mold. The membrane will be close to the brick wall to prevent most of the moisture to soak into the brick wall which is very thin.

    I am new to your channel, and I like what I see. With so many you peeps out there looking for an easy life, you, you are doing it the way that is most rewarding for you. Keep up the good work it is looking great. Like I said I am new to this channel, so this idea might be a day late and dollar short so to speak, but where I live, we would use piping bags like those for cake decorating, to force concrete into those deep holes it might be a little easier and quicker for you instead of one trowel at a time. Well, if you have any more wall that you need to fix. Anyway, just something to think about. Good luck, it is all coming together nicely.

    Your attitude is great. I am so glad you are learning new skills too. The river is beautiful. I'm thinking you can make a pool in your yard. Just make it with bricks! Well, cement blocks would be better. But you have that nice beach, so you can just go there and swim. It is such a lot of work to fix up the old structures. You are doing a great job of it. Be well and keep motivated.

      A safely-tethered goat can be used to eat a chosen section of grass in a garden or orchard as required, and can be moved onto a new patch each day, without the need for any fences. Goats will happily eat the unwanted mimosa seedlings on your wild forest land too. And can provide you with milk, cheese and meat too. 🙂
