Love everything you do. ❤ Not because I want to lecture you but out of concern, I wanted to remind you to wear hearing protection when using power tools. It’s so easy to forget because ear damage usually doesn’t hurt as it is happening, but it is cumulative. Sanders and saws are some of the worst culprits as they are used quite frequently and/or for extended periods.
Eye protection, too please 😂
I'm sorry what did you say? I work in a shop...... lol. But for real, the work this woman does in sandals and flops! I've commented before to please wear some steel toes. The rocks could fall, a board could fall, a saw could kick and drop. So many ways to lose a toe....

Is that a pizza oven or a bread oven in the red brick wall where you were painting the shelves? If so, you should definitely try and get that going again.

Being in a room where every direction you look you can see the work you did with your own hands and creativity is a rewarding experience, even after it's no longer a consciously noticed thing. I've got a lot of those spaces now, and am making another in the camper trailer I'm completely rebuilding. Today, I'll be starting something very similar to what you did here: putting in the final bits after the vital but mostly invisible things have been completed. It's very pleasant to see the joy you've made for yourself!

So great! Your solutions are always aesthetic as well as functional! The only suggestion is you may want to seal that upper shelf on the top that you don't see, because otherwise the moisture in the air will warp the board over time. Learned that the hard way :o( Thanks for sharing!!!

You really a chair that has wheels that swivels and rocks. Relaxing and moves around enough to see what's what through your viewing area

Awesome - when you stain the wood brush it on leave it a few minutes and then wipe off the excess stain with a cloth - it leaves a much better all over coverage ! love your work ❤

You can hide those white brackets with large wooden ones that merely *appear* to be holding up the shelves, but they'd be for show. You can make simple ones yourself and paint them the same color as the shelves. I think the white brackets don't live up to the beautiful room you created! ❤

Wow, Maya, that looks wonderful. You did such a good job on that cabinet. I love your little nook where you have your clothes hanging. Now you’ve got a bathroom and bedroom, I think you might need a kitchen. I can’t wait to see what else you do. I was just telling my husband that you’re the only person I know who lives in a tiny house that’s 3000 ft.² lol. It’s going to be so fantastic when you get it all together. A piece of advice from me
You can lift your bed and put it on top of, for example, Ikea kommode and a beam on the wall, so you have plenty of space. Then the clothes will not be so dusty either. you can also store boxes behind the chest of drawers

When cutting a long or wide board by yourself just take 3 small pieces of scrap of the same thickness board, with the middle peice smaller than the 2 outer and nail them together to form of "C" shape. After you start your cut just slide it onto the cut area and continue cutting. You don't have to hold the board and can use your free hand at the end of your cut.
Well done Maya! You’ve done beautiful work. A couple of things, if you put your bed pillow behind your other cushions, your bed will look more like a couch and if you get a small basket to put all those things on top of your little side table it will look a little more restful ❤️✨

A good tip from what ive learned from my dad is that if you ask some to hold a hover suction pipe under your drillbit when your drilling a wall it will suck in all the dust of course this a 2 person job but its much less messy.
FYI, maybe you should build a nice box with a lid to hold the water 💧 that could also act as a seat for a guest by putting a nice pillow on top of it. PS gr8 work on the shelf and the room.

This room has come such a long way Maya, it is so beautiful! As for a chair, you really need an office chair to be comfortable, and best that you go and try them out to find one that is super comfortable for you. I found that personally I always need a full length mirror, not sure if you may too?

I think the mess I create every time I do some work is what I hate most about doing home improvement projects, lol. The clean up is always such a pain in my behind.
Colorants go on smoother and more even using a rag.

I just put a handrail up on some steps on my concrete front walk. When drilling into concrete or mortar a hammer drill is well worth the investment. You might look into getting one.
