5:32 When heimdall says “what’s going on inside that empty head?” It’s because kratos has complete control over his mind. He cleared his thoughts and let his warrior reflexes, which must’ve become muscle memory by now, kinda like ultra instinct. Hence he could hit heimdall repeatedly, because there was nothing going on in Kratos’ head for heimdall to predict
2:12 That collision is so badass, I love how in that moment it feels like Kratos opens the faucet ever so slightly on his rage and power, just enough to manhadle the huge beast and throw it to the floor like it's a kitten.
My favourite scene in the game especially with the music in the back. Encapsulates Kratos perfectly, gets knocked down, bull rushes you to put you on your ass after. I can imagine him instinctively saying to him "A spartan never lays on his back!" before getting back up
2:21 I truly hate Heimdall for doing that. It's been implied that he's an asshole to everybody because of his foresight powers, he can tell who is lying to him or to themselves. But Gulltoppr was an animal, his own loyal steed. It did not deserve being kicked like that.
I like how the use of Kratos’s weapons subtly reflects his attitude in the fight. Leviathan in phase one represents his cool maturity; his last reminder of Faye and the good she saw in him. Draupnir in phase two represents both his spartan discipline and tactical brilliance and his gratitude towards the dwarves, a people that the Aesir have always undermined and subjugated. Fitting that it breaks the spirit of the Aesir’s most arrogant god. The Blades of Chaos in phase three represent his blind rage; the god slaying monster he once was and almost became again during the last stages of the fight.

This was fun to watch, more so than other No Damage runs in general as unlike the others I've seen where the player is extremely passive and safe in what they do, you just start swinging and almost never stop, using a lot of different attacks, going for risky counterattacks instead of constantly blocking or dodging, being aggressive and basically not caring what your opponent does. Makes me wish there were alternative cutscenes when you beat bosses with no damage taken where they're completely shocked they can't touch you, would've been especially great to see Heimdall have a breakdown that he's helpless in this fight.

his records on Sekiro and Elden Ring might say enough
Some people have amazing reflects.
Also, new game pads, too.
I used to be good... Not to this level.
But I was good... However, my gamepad is now "Sticky" after I still some drinks over it from time to time and I haven't replace a new one yet.
I'm waiting for PS5 Pro to come out and buy it. Instead of changing a new PS4 gamepad.
He's a video game savant!
Because HE IS the God of war
Master of a thousend weapons, Forged in a million battles, no one can break he's defense, no one can defeat him on the battleground, he strike with the speed of lightning, he's defense is stronger than an army of a thousend man. He is ONGBAL and he has never meet defeat
that timing is impeccable 6:52
ABSOLUTELY!! 🙀
Yea that shit was crazy
aka luck
Incrdible work as always. Can't wait to witness your battle against odin.
Nah man, take a rest for now. Use that energy the next time he got back into the Ashina so you're 100% once you fight him again.
Lord Isshin!
It is past your bedtime!
We must get you back to Ashina.
Fucking legend
Heimdall looked into Kratos's eyes and he saw ONGBAL
Still Heimdall : MONSTER !!!
7:29 I found this moment very cool. When heimdall tried to escape Kratos catch him with sides step
Little did he know its useless
Heimdall: I always strike and I never get hit. It won’t change today
Kratos: Don’t worry. You’ll know how it feels soon enough
Idk about you guys but that "Monster" really sends me chills. This shows that Heimdall felt fear when he finally saw the real God of War and what he have done in the past before being killed. I bet he felt regret for messing with Kratos and his son.
I love that Kratos in the beginning hits him because he realizes how he dodges and blocks
from a shinobi to a kungfu master now this? a god of war. Nice vid
Ongbal has always been a god
I love how Kratos chokes him to death with absolutely no pressure on his hands 🤣🤣🤣
Well, Heimdall had his head slammed to the ground repeatedly.
If he pressed the man would get his head blown off, that's why Mimir was trying to Calm him down
@@lighttheassassinyt7935 Kratos killed him with a delicate caressing of his throat 😭😭😭
yup. I wanna see Kratos put him into an arm triangle lol.
@@eetfuk3571 *looks at baldur* yea that'd do it
Heimdall:
“I’ve never been hit let alone defeated!”
Kratos:
*Annihilates Heimdall without a scratch*
Odin:
“Uh Oh”
Odin should've been more prepared for man who could kill someone who was blessed with invulnerability to all threats, physical or magical
@@MissingNo0001 Wait, are you saying Baldur was blessed with invulnerability to all threats, physical or magical?
@@scottski02 yes, who else could be blessed with invulnerability to all threats, physical or magical?
Seeing Kratos not take a hit feels like the way the story is meant to unfold, him being challenged by gods who are clearly inferior to himself but more prideful, as he once was
The "monster" at the end while his phantom limb is vanishing is so cinematic. Memorable moment.
Absolutely superb, awesome work!
To see this fight done so cleanly... you definitely embodied Kratos' title as the 'God of War' and gave it proper justice beyond measure.
I know you probably need no one to tell you this for you to realize it, but, well done Ongbal! 😎
I had the foresight to grind at Muspelheim first, so by the time I faced Heimdall, I had fully upgraded kits and the skill trees for Kratos practically maxed out.
Pretty boy didn't stand a chance.
A monster yes, but a stylish and untouchable one, at that.
7:54 Lmao he sure ate those words right after he said it.
I've seen this fight so many times yet I cease to get enough of it, keeps me on my toes the whole time.
Mimir taunting Hiemdall at 4:56 was badass “ come on brother, you hit him once ( on the cutscene )-just gotta find the right openning!” oof
Did you guys realize that the moment heimdall grew his hand back, kratos take a punch that threw him away. But the moment he choked him to death, kratos didn't even flinch. And heimdall said monster because he can read kratos mind. Damn kratos really smesh him good 😂😂😂
"I thought I'd at least break a sweat" dude most of your health is gone and it's been 30 seconds
"Only one of us is walking out of this... And it sure as hell not you" said the super perceptive and future seeing god as Kratos delivers the final blow
Your mastery of the fight is spectacular to witness. The gods speaking like californians and the achievements popping up mid fight less so.
Would you rather then speak a brit accent?
They're speaking with the best accent in the world - Californian. You should be grateful to hear it.
Well at least the brits had norse occupators. Hell scotish accents could have been great.
The obvious choice would be picking scandinavian, norwegian or hell maybe even german accents. You know, places where these myths actually came from or got told in.
West-American accents are kinda out of place.
@@goji253 Accent comes from English not being your primary language and breaking orthodox pronunciations rules of the language .
Now since this is a game about literally GODS it hardly make sense what accent they would have since english did not exist at that time.
So let us assume they have complete proficiency over the language therefore they have dialects (like dwarves speak different from elves ) but they don't have accents.
@@samurai15401 Following the baseline that none of them have any accents known to us, they'd not have a Californian one either though.
Picking one is simply an immersion thing. We already suspend our disbelief with all of them speaking English, but we wouldn't be understanding any of it otherwise. Using accents that more properly link to real word cultures we'd associate with Norse mythology can provide a bit of an anchor to make things feel more real.
"Only one of us is walking away from this. And it sure as shit will not b-" already mid getting murdered.
This was fucking hilarious and perfect
Man Heimdall's 2nd phase went by so fast his smack talk got him eating the ground 3 times
Honestly watching flawless Kratos gameplay is so satisfying
Ongbal : Look at me , I am the heimdall now.
Mimir: "C'mon brother. You hit once, just gotta find the right opening"
Heimdall: "IM TRYING"
This man is the one true God of War. Mad respect.
2:12 That collision is so badass, I love how in that moment it feels like Kratos opens the faucet ever so slightly on his rage and power, just enough to manhadle the huge beast and throw it to the floor like it's a kitten.
He literally sent Minotaurs flying in older games, you know
My favourite scene in the game especially with the music in the back. Encapsulates Kratos perfectly, gets knocked down, bull rushes you to put you on your ass after.
I can imagine him instinctively saying to him "A spartan never lays on his back!" before getting back up
Kratos's proficiency in spear combat back in his Spartan days came in REALLY handy.
Imagine spending weeks to train Gulltoppr only for Kratos to unalive him in under a minute.
5:50
Heimdall: “Is about the little runt?”
Kratos: *Bold words for someone in Draupnir distance*
This is a work of art. Incredible gameplay, loved every second of ot
Wow, wow, wow!!!
Flawless as usual. I can't wait to see how you handle King Hrolf and Gna at the endgame.
That was so darn cool. I could watch you whole day.
daaaamn, so fast and so good man
Beautiful work as always
You offer the most tactical and most intelligent method to fight this boss. Sure there are gamers on UA-cam with insane reflexes and combos, but your approach is the most simple and efficient. And by simple I don't mean easy or silly. Bravo.
Heimdall: "How dare you try and spare ME!?"
Kratos: "Don't worry, I won't make the same mistake twice"
6:32 Y'know, Icarus said the same thing about his own fate and still got piece'd up by Kratos.
6:22 Allfather, let the dark magic flow through me one last time!
Quoting Infinity War
I love the gameplay. I am very impressed with how you fought, not being hit a single time and using various combos, tactics and movements. For that, you have earned my subscription
Out of all the bosses in the game, this is definitely the one i'm most pleased to see killed in a brutally manner
Agreed. He earned it with a) the sheer amount of shit he talks, b) being a narcissistic T. And c) threatening a comparative child (atleast compared to heimdals age). Frankly Odin deserved the old Kratos treatment as well but I understand that's not the premise of the game
Ahh so satisfying to watch the perfect party and perfect combos great job man
"Cmon brother, you hit him once. You just need to find an opening!"
"Bro... are you watching the fight?!"
One of the coolest fight in the game and you made it look even more cooler Nice one man as always
I LOVE when the players use the elemental advantage against their enemies (The axe for burning foes and the blades for frost enemies)
dude i feel like such a noob watching this 😭😭 so smooth and fluid with your moves/combos, great job
Heimdalls fight and death is so satisfying to watch, love the character
I love how Heimdall thinks he’s going to body Kratos. Guy clearly didn’t do his homework.
If he had actually used his eyes for something useful he would’ve seen thor with a new scar and missing tooth and thought “oh shit, maybe I shouldn’t shit talk him when I challenge him”
Wow i just got chills from this fight, it reminds me of Baldur with his near maniacal laughter during the 3rd phase
@ 7:29 the way he moves Kratos to the right to where exactly Heimdall moves is just awesome.
Kratos: DID SOMEBODY SAY SALAMI?! *Turns Heimdall's Face Into A Salami*
Man!
Heimdall said: "Monster!" He was indicating this gamer since he was powerless in touching the character in game. :)))
Heimdall : "With your reputation I thought I'd atleast break a sweat!"
Kratos : *fucking obliterates his mount*
Ay cj how it goin bro
Nice. Looking forward to more boss battles
Amazing game this. Exceeded all expectations for me. Can't wait to see you no hit some of the end game (and after) bosses. 👏
im a long time fan man, loved this one too
mimir actually going to see what ghost of sparta is.. no wonder he was horrified..
heimdall is lucky, his face is still in shape
I like how Heimdall says he going to beat Atreus's face into a pulp and then that's what Kratos does to him
Well he ended up giving him that so that he won't do it to his son like ever so yeah
5:09 Note how Kratos bends the spear so that Heimdall can't easily get out. Such attention to details...
I hope this channel gets to 1mil subs next yr. He deserves it.
I love how the player fights using Kratos' entire arsenal and not just relying on his spear
It's a great spectacular battle
This is exactly what happened when heimdall fought kratos,,,, clean gameplay as always Ongbal🔥🔥🔥
man you just earned another subscriber, hats off to your skilled gameplay👌🏻👌🏻
This was fun to watch, more so than other No Damage runs in general as unlike the others I've seen where the player is extremely passive and safe in what they do, you just start swinging and almost never stop, using a lot of different attacks, going for risky counterattacks instead of constantly blocking or dodging, being aggressive and basically not caring what your opponent does. Makes me wish there were alternative cutscenes when you beat bosses with no damage taken where they're completely shocked they can't touch you, would've been especially great to see Heimdall have a breakdown that he's helpless in this fight.
Yea, this is the God of War. Holy shit u make these games look like art.
